Hope it's a manual instead of the shitty cvt.
>>
>>14687253
What is wrong with the CVT? Yeah it's an automatic, if I had the choice i would choose manual because all my previous cars and trucks were. But I got it for only 5k. 19k miles from a guys widow

Its a 2012 SE AWD

Have you ever encountered a problem with overfilling the oil? I just bought a used cheap car off Craigslist that was leaking oil bad. Turns out the previous owner overfilled it ridiculously, it had 8 QUARTS of oil when it should only have 5! The car still ran without any noticeable issues aside from the leak though, and it seemed to be coming from the rear main seals.

So far I've changed the oil, put new ones of the right amount and driven it a few miles and it doesn't seem to be leaking anymore with no other issues. But it's nuts that it even ran with too much oil like that.

Never had issues with overfilling. Also looked at the manual and found the capacity and filled to that amount. I'm surprised it didn't lock up the motor being 3 quarts over.
>>
>>14686517
a lot of cars can get away with a half a quart or one. and if going hooning or somewhere with a lot of twisties its recommended.

but add too much it begins frothing

Well my car didn't get through it unscathed, unfortunately it's still leaking. I just looked underneath and a puddle of oil is there. The rear seals looked like they're fucked. Will this stuff help fix it?

Is is obligatory to buy it v6 and up and stick shift if it is American?

How about no
>>
>>14686300
despite all the hate against them, there's nothing wrong with the V6 models. They're nowhere near as disappointing as they used to be. Hell, the new Camaro V6's will run a mid-13 second 1/4 mile. Just a few years ago, that was V8-only territory.

Can someone help me identify what kind of wheels these are and what they are worth? Im trying to sell them on eBay and my boss said to sell them for 500$ for the set, but I'm not entirely sure what to list the title as etc, if someone can help clarify what these wheels are it would be greatly appreciated.

None of their new cars have manual transmissions.

And the new xc90 is too complex for its own good. I'd love the new one with the old, simple Yamaha v8

Somebody advertised there 1999 subaru GC impreza WRX on gumtree for around 240,000k and around $4k AUD.
Has quite a few mods, 3" HKS Exhaust, 3" dump pipe, braided clutch line and heavy duty clutch etc.
He states there is a problem with it and it can be fixed, either he will fix it or he will sell it for cheaper.
The problem he states is "Possibly TPS or just needs a carbon clean. Comp test was 165 across all cylinders, not using coolant or oil and not overheating. Car drives fine, just has a slight intermittent hesitation."
I offered him $2.9k and i might see him tomorrow.

If you could help me i would like to know;
What a TPS is and is it hard to replace/ costly?
what a carbon clean is/ costly?
And what an intermittent hesitation is?

I hate to sound needy, but i just want to know if i have a good deal, or if im getting fucked.

Thankyou,

Throttle position sensor. And carbon cleaning would be cleaning the gunk and shit from the throttle body /intake manifold area.

But op it sounds like he doesn't know what is really wrong with it

I got a 71 pickup. Need it back on the road. A little short on money but it's getting there. Let's see some good old best selling trucks for years on end. Ill start.
