How much downforce does tilting your sunroof up create?

If it's open it will increase the drag coefficient by approximately 11%. The typical sportscar has a frontal area of 1.67 m^2 and a drag coefficient of 0.32. The density of air is 1.2 kg/m3.
If you want to find force (F) we'll have to multiply half times the drag coefficient (C) times the fluid density (ρ) [in this case, air] times the reference area (A) times our velocity^2. Now let's suppose we open the sun roof at 56 and 112 kmh. That would take the drag coefficient from 0.31 to 0.42 just by opening the sunoof.
To calculate the drag force with the sunroof closed, you take the drag coefficient times the density of air^2 times the velocity of the car (we will assume 15 m/s) times the frontal area of the car, and divide your result in half.
So you end up with a closed drag force calculation of 72.14 newtons. You use the same method to find it opened, except you increase the drag force accordingly with what we found earlier, so instead of 0.32 we use 0.41. This will result in an increase of down force to 92.43 newtons.
To calculate the difference we simply subtract the increased result from the original, and what we find is that on a typical sportscar, opening the sunroof will add approximately 20 newtons of downforce.

I was out riding my mustang and I couldn't focus on anything except how I had to escort my daughter to a fiesta later.
I didn't mind much because there may be some good looking cougars there.
>later that night
My daughter Victoria and I had finished our pinto bean soup and were getting ready for the fiesta. It was always a chore to get her ready for anything. You see she was a Scorpio, and I a Taurus. We clashed often, but generally kept a good tempo with one another.
She walked out of her room and looked beautiful. More beautiful than the galaxy itself.
I had on my best suit and her in a beautiful dress. She hopped on her bronco and I on my mustang and we made the expedition.
We arrived on Everest St. And tied off Windstar and freestar.
Victoria ran off to see her friends. There was a hilarious oversized piñata in the shape of a zephyr out back. Weird freestyle music playing up front.
I looked around, and suddenly there she was. The cougar I hoped would be here. Miss Sierra. The way her dress fit every contour of her body. She glanced my way. I nervously looked away, but it was too late. Like a falcon she swooped in on me. I wasn't going to pretend I didn't like it. I knew exactly where this was headed.
We waited for the right moment to escape to the back room.
Behind closed doors Miss Sierra was quite the explorer with her tongue. We had barely started and I was already near the edge.
It had been so long.
I picked her up and sat her on the bed. She pulled her legs behind her head. I never knew she had so much flex.
This was too much for me to handle. I pressed myself into her. Our fusion of passion caused us both to C-max at the same time.
Just at that moment Victoria burst in the door. Someone had given her a crown she wanted she show me.
I was horribly embarrassed.
This made for a long ride home as she reminded me of the day the courier brought us a letter saying her mother had died.
I apologized for my foolish endeavor.
We rode home in silence.

That would be rough. But I'll try
We arrived at the city civic center late this evening. Today had been a long day for Domani and I. I had just lost my passport only days before our crosstour. But soon we would be relaxing with our friends and listening to Lagreat Concerto. A famous up beat jazz band.
I quickly found miss Jade. A beautiful woman who I could never find time in my life for. Her grace was unmatched and her mental clarity would amaze a Buddhist monk. She smiled brightly and complimented my ascot. As soon as I opened my mouth to respond there was a scream. I looked over to see a stream of blood gushing from a man's neck. The musical airwaves went silent. He has been stabbed with a freed spike. In a fit of gasps before he lost his life he was able to say Greiz Crider. My partner exclaimed, "Edix, I know this name!"
There was no time to discuss it further. We both ran with zest in the direction of the murderer. He had a lead on us, but we caught sight of him going into the crossroad diner.
He had been cornered with nowhere to go.
"Give yourself up Greiz," I yelled.
"Only if we can strike an accord," he said with a shaky voice.
You see Greiz is a musician as well. Mostly plays ballades. He was a man of great insight, but not a rough type.
"There will be no accord, Greiz. You must come with us."
Suddenly he burst toward Domani. With one quick motion he had drawn a saber and thrust it through my partners chest. I was too shocked to do anything. Greiz ran out of the diner and toward the ridgeline. Greiz had murdered two tonight. And this was only a prelude of what was to come.
Where were you when 80% of cars on the road were bloated design corpses filled aggressive women and manlets?
Where were you when allowed the crossover blight to blot out the Sun?

Crossovers are an embodiment of the American way.
Let me explain the free market economy to you, commie:
People in free countries have choice. They are free to choose what products to buy and what products to not buy. Companies are permitted to offer products that adhere to a looser structure of various legislation. When a person purchases a product they choose, that purchase has a positive influence on the products' success. If enough of that product is produced, distributed, and bought, the company will make more of them. This is called a "consumer trend", which is common in free countries, something you may not be used to or aware of, I suspect.
Conversely, if a product is not bought, then companies are less likely to produce it in large numbers (or at all) in the future. Companies are by and large a reflection of their consumer base.
To deny people this choice purely because you don't like it is unAmerican and about as red as you can get. BETTER DEAD THAN RED. Go back to China and unfriend those people who have low citizen scores so your own score rises, which might mean Dear Leader moves your citizen rank to the next threshold, where you'll be rewarded with an extra pair of state-appointed workshoes, cunt.

Hey g/o/ys. I'm in the market for a Ford Ranger. Since it is a 20 year long model, I'm having a tough time figuring out what to buy. For those of you that have experience with the Ranger, what engines should I be considering and what model years should I look out for?
Also, what is the most you'd spend on, let's say, the cleanest and lowest mileage Ranger there is? I've seen some on Craigslist that were super clean, but were going for nearly $8,000. I have a high budget, but I don't want to overpay.

How important is proper brand name oil usage?
I bought a vw with a 1.9tdi engine.
About to do my third oil change on it (every 6000km) and I use loose oil sold by the liter at a local gas station. It's 15w40, apparently organic.
Thing is I like to take proper care of my car, but it's incredibly expensive to get proper oil (15 bucks a liter for brand name) when compared to the 6 of the loose oil.
Shouldn't you at least be using diesel oil? Rosella T is like $3/L in America or even less if you buy in bulk
>>14809166
Not American
once I took all the emission stuff off my tdi I used the cheaper stuff, which happened to be rotella, but I'd still at least use diesel specific oil.
What are some cars that are spaceous, comfy and reliable enough to use on long roadtrips? Bonus if it can cope with rough terrain.
No sedans.
Looking towards getting an SUV/SAV, like a used X5, Newer Tahoe or hell, remove any chance of driving off road and get pic related since i've heard nothing but good thing about these.
