My god. This can't be legal, or at the very least safe.
When will the white house do what's right and ban the sale of assault vehicle scents. They attack the olfactory systems with lethal efficiency. Perhaps once upon time we needed scents this strong, but its time to evolve. Just because we can does not mean we should.

If you hit somebody laying down on the road, would slowing down actually do more damage? I was thinking this for the longest time. As you get slower and slower you have more energy towards the ground (weight of the car) whereas going fast you have less energy downwards.
The general theory of relatively says that the faster you are going the more mass you have so slowing down puts less energy normal force into the ground.

>As you get slower and slower you have more energy towards the ground (weight of the car) whereas going fast you have less energy downwards.
This is not how physics works.
At all.
>>14822183
depends
if you're going really fast and have incredibly low spring rates, you might not even do any damage

Copfag here. Anyone know any good storage units thst can attach to the passenger seat?
Also what are some must have items for people who spend the whole day in their cars.
>>14825918
ask your supervisor?
>>14825918
eat shit and die copper!
>copfag here
no way, otherwise you'd be asking your supervisor.
You're one of those guys who want to pretend to be cops.
I bet you drive a P71 or a tahoe with steelies.
What do you do with old car parts, /o/?
>>14825658
Throw them in the metal pile and when there's enough for a truckload take it and sell it for scrap
i use them to decorate my house
>>14825658
>them rusted out dumbbells
Dumb paki swerved four (4) lanes of traffic and nailed my quarter panel today. Insurance company giving the estimate right now ez fix or should I let a shop do it
New wing, new headlight, possibly new bumper. The biggy is if it's bent any suspension components.
>>14825645
take the cunts money for whiplash or something, If you are competent it should be ok to fix yourself
>>14825645
Who's insurance is paying for this? You are holding that mudnigger accountable, right?
anyway, you can maybe probably buy factory panels that are painted to that color and just bolt them on yourself. If you car isnt that old, I wouldnt worry about matching paint.
That would be best if the insurance company just writes you a check based on a body shop estimate, and you can keep the extra.
I need some input from those of you with experience in the field...
I own and ride sports bikes generally, but I want an enduro for a bit of green laning and general dicking about. Nothing hardcore, just a bit of trail riding and perhaps riding around on farm land. I'd also like to be able to ride it on the road, but only probably a maximum of 20 miles on any given trip, so comfort not really an issue.
I've ridden off road bikes when I was younger (CR250 mostly), but I'm not up to date with it all these days, can you help?
Some of my thoughts so far....
I was brought up on 2 strokes, but in my scenario is a 4 stroke a better option? I do my on maintenance, if that helps.
I'm torn between exciting but more hassle, or dull and easier to live with. I have looked at a wide variety of bikes so far.....DRZ400, WR450, CRF450, KLX450, FE450, XCF450, or even a KTM 2 stroke.
Guide me bros....
Just for puttering around, maybe a DRZ if you can find a nice used one. Cheap, reliable, ok power, but dated and heavy (compared to real enduros).
Out of the Japs, a WR450F is probaly the best. Reliable for a race bike, I hear.
The Katoom EXCs are best race enduros for the road, thanks to 6 gears and a bigger oil capacity. A 350 might suit you.
Or just pic related, TW200.
>>14825331
Thanks, mate.
If I'm honest, the two that keep coming to mind after I've spent hours trying to research them all are the DRZ and the WR.
>>14825276
DRZ-400s
I'm sorry for separate thread and dumb question, but is it normal that there is fuel inside my intake manifold.
I took throttle body off to clean it and MAF, and found out there are plenty of fuel inside manifold.

Throttle body

Also, Is my MAF broken, since there is no connection on first "gate"?

Another angle of MAF
Please help, I know I'm a retard, but I need to repair my e34
Alright guys, I need your help. My cars speakers recently started going out and I need some new ones. I drive a 2004 Mustang, what kind of speaker should I get? I was looking at the Kicker 40CS54. What's your opinion?
if all anyone is going to hear is bass does it really matter?
>>14823332
So you are one of those fuckers that try to break my house windows just by pure desibels?
Please don't buy new speakers. Somebody might start to like you without that ground cracking shit music you were blasting.
>>14823332
Where rare you located
Alright as an under 25 driver living in Melbourne I get royaly fucked up the arse by car insurance.
Why should I not just have third party insurance and buy a couple of good quality dash cams that cover my front back and sides?
You have to be ultra safe when you drive, but when you're under 25 you should be anyway because everyone wants to blame you for any accident that you might find yourself in.
Everyone who I mentioned this to is acting like I'm crazy, they always say that if I'm in an at fault accident and my car is written off then I lose all of that money.
But to me it sounds crazy to shell out $1500-$2000 a year on the chance that you might write off your car.
I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS
>>14822427
Also in melbourne here, just get third party.
But be prepared to have dash cams and get ready to sue when someone does fuck your shit up.
They will, you seen the bogans here?
But that's ok, just sue them directly and get your shekels back.
I feel bad for you young drivers, you're treated like literal scum when i see more full license drivers doing stupid shit all the time.
And they're old enough to know better.
>>14822427
following this hard.
I live in Canada and I feel your pain all too well.
>>14822427
Fully comprehensive is often cheaper.
What happens when your car is hit when parked and your dash cams are off?
I know nothing about cars /o/
This is my car i bought a few months ago
Did i did good
>>14822196
yes
>>14822259
How so
I just sold my old car and now have roughly $10,000 in the bank.
I just found out that I can get an interest free loan of up to $25,000 from the Jewish care society because I am Jewish.
I'm thinking a 2012 Toyota 86 could be a smart car to buy because of its reliability, fuel economy and sexiness. In Oz they go for about $19,000
I'm 21 so going for a BRZ or anything with any speed will shoot up my insurance price. So that's out of the question
This means that I will need to loan an additional $10,000 (interest free Niggas!)
I'll have to make monthly payments of $277
I make roughly $900 a week.
Smart or Fucking my shit up?
Full retard.
Don't get a loan you do t fucking need.
Say it with me, folks:
GET A SHITBOX
>>14820929
Right but it's interest free! It would be the same as if I had just saved up for it myself anyway!
>>14820915
86 is an okay car. Toyota reliability but a few redundant features (like the automatic window motors that raise/lower them whenever you get in/out ) that you might find annoying to fix in time. Also, even the BRZ is still a small-engined, cheap Japanese car, not too bad to insure. My only warning would be that if the loan offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I'd check up on the usury laws in your state if I were you.
Thinking about getting a used Evo X GSR.
Only thing is i've literally drove a manual for about an hour. What do?
Link related, it's the one i'm looking at.
http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/viewDetailsFilterViewInventoryListing.action?sourceContext=carGurusHomePage_false_0&newSearchFromOverviewPage=true&inventorySearchWidgetType=AUTO&entitySelectingHelper.selectedEntity=d423&entitySelectingHelper.selectedEntity2=&zip=45255&distance=150&searchChanged=true&modelChanged=false&filtersModified=true#listing=138607418
Buy it. Easiest way to learn manual is to drive a manual.

hey /o/,
I'm trying to find a tach to install into my 1990 corolla. What's the cheapest/most ghetto option? I'm trying to make this ugly shitbox even shittier so the grimier the tach, the better.
>>14825100
>1990 corolla
Get the biggest one you can find and either hose clamp it to the steering column or bolt it to the plastic dashboard.

for $600 and 130k miles you can't go wrong my dude
Does anyone else want to fly to California and get a classic car and drive home on backroads almost the entire way?
Its my post college dream
>>14824530
>>14824530
been my dream too.
did it here in aus east coast just wasnt the same so many fucking shit drivers and roadworks i wanted to kill myself.
not really
old cars are shit
For a real classic you should get it from Arizona or New Mexico or someplace like that, Florida for imports. What you want to get from California is the /o/ "classic" 80s or 90s cars dirt cheap that can't pass California emissions then drive them back to your home state and register them there.
