Mustang is better in every single way other than "my feels". I like japanese car scene but 24 k for mustang is a steal if you ask me.
Why did you make this thread? Have you not browsed /o/ before and had all your baits and questions answered hundreds of times over every week about this same goddamn topic?
>>14844720
There is no thread on that topic, takumi.

Enjoy your slow piece of shit. The FRS is fun. Ever do 60 off a ramp that says 30? No? Of course not, your pig fat can't have fun
Do you not allow certain things in your car?
>no food or drinks unless it's water besides groceries in the trunk
>no muddy or snow covered shoes
>no makeup
>no smoking anything
>no blacks
>no gum, mints, or candy
No passengers
>>14846020
I don't allow smoking but that's it.
I eat in my car also ironically I'm the only one that has had a food related accident in my car
>>14846020
I don't mind food in the car but absolutely not eating in the car. We have tables for that, they are located in houses.
Makeup, candy, gum, whatever I don't see those making a mess as long as the person isn't an asshole.
No smoking though fuck that. No vape either because no faggots.
So I'm a fucking idiot. I bought an old Mitsubishi FTO as a paddock basher because why the fuck not.
When I picked the car up today I noticed a few things that I didn't notice before. For one there's a slight scraping sound when the car is in gear. Happens in all gears regardless of speed and goes away as soon as I step on the clutch. It's not that loud but it's noticeable. What do you think this is? How hard will it be to repair? I'm pretty sure it's also got some slight engine knock. How retarded am I? Also Jap junker general I guess.
>>14845389
Try changing the transmission fluid on that?
What makes you think it's knocking? Is it showing some codes?
>>14845427
That's a good idea, thanks I'll do that. As for the engine knock, I can just hear a slight consistent knocking sound when it's running and it changes with the revs.
>>14845442
There may a be a knock issue then but also it may be misfiring, see if changing spark plugs fixes that. While you're at it change your air filter and make no air is leaking out too (you could probably hear a hissing sound if it does).
Getting my drivers license in about two weeks and I'm looking for a cool car preferably with a V8 engine for under $4000 to cruise around in this summer. I've been a huge fan of muscle cars since I was young but they're all pretty much out of my price range.
I'm also living in Sweden so classic American cars in good shape are hard to come by for under $20 000.
A lot of horse powers are not obligatory but an added bonus.
Pic not related, thanks in advance.
>>14845254
Europe and v8s just don't match because of your fuel prices t b h. If you can get an old 540i pretty cheaply that's probably your best bet.
>>14845263
People in Sweden seem to have endless money for expensive fuel judging by their murribarge obsession. The bigger problem is that in Europe most cars simply don't have a V8 engine. An older Merc or BMW is basically the only option, even Jags used I6 and V12 for the most time.
>>14845254
>Sweden
We all know the only thing you will be riding is Mohammeds dick. Basically you will need a long board with wherls. Attach a steering wheel to the front. To start the engine, simply suck mohammeds cock until he is gard, then set your asshole upon his dick. As you roll down the streets be sure to make vroom vroom sounds. Pump your ass harder to go faster
I've been led to believe that all American cars are poorly built shit heaps.
How accurate is this stigma
towards GM, Ford, chrysler?
Buick is solid. Top 10 brands in the world according to Consumer Reports. Better than Toyota
>>14845062
very accurate.
>>14845062
GM is really dependent on brand, basically Buick and Cadillac are good and the rest is shit.
Ford is shit.
The entire Chrysler group is definitely shit.
I own a 2014 mustang GT, my friend is going to buy a new camaro SS, he usually drives a shitbox. I cant let him have a faster car than me. How can I sabotage his car to make it slower without him knowing?
bust his oil pan just like Razor
Is it already time for the daily thily-veiled Camaro driver auto-fellatio thread?
>not waiting a year for the S550
For what purpose? You'd be a bit slower, but could still beat him with skill.
Why is carmax so based? Yeah, it's a little costly, and they give you shitty trade in, but if you're just buying a car and paying cash up front, it's so based
Carmax is great for people who don't mind having their wallet raped for the sake of a perceived convenience
>>14843056
seems like craigslist for retards
>>14843056
This
How is paying 12,500 for a base model Cobalt treating you?
>>14843163
That's...actually the most accurate description I've heard of Carmax
Why can't women shut the fuck up when people are driving?

Sup, supreme gentlemen
oh i had a good many lolz. she freaked and should l2 calm. I do kinda feel bad for her, its her car from the sounds of it. they should not have gone on an active track tho, hope the guy got some good penalties and hope she got her car back in good shape. still LOOOOL "im shaking im shaking. someone just get me out of this situation!"
So my trusty Kia finally died recently, gents. Now in the market for something a little classier, but still decently reliable and fuel-efficient.
Is a '97 230C something worth taking a look at? The mileage is quite low (168k km) with a recently replaced alternator, water pump and battery.
>>14842944
>kia
>trusty
And to answer your question, it all depends on how mechanically independent you are. Mercedes past warranty require TLC, as I'm sure you know.
>>14842950
I work in an aircraft hangar, so I can make use of that to do simpler mechanical jobs. What sort of problems are common in these cars?
There's also a 2004 Subaru TS wagon for somewhat cheaper. Mileage is a little higher. Any thoughts?
I cave a W124 with the same M111 engine.
Its not fast, but its reliable.
At that age, brake pads/rotors and shocks will likely soon need to be replaced if they haven't already.
They're good reliable cars. All they need is regular maintenance.
Brakes are very easy to do in these cars. So are shocks.
If you are in Northen Europe, check for rust. They rust usually under the plastic panel things on the sides of the doors, and near the radio antenna, and under the aftermarket chrome trim if it has any.
The underside is well protected by a plastic tray.
I've heard these cars are really mechanically shitty and money pits. So why don't people just swap a more reliable engine on 3000GTs if they're so shitty?
>>14842824
I think it's just generally not a great platform for power.
>>14842836
since when is a TT v6 not a good platform for power?
>>14842824
Because it's not very easy to replace a whole entire AWD drivetrain. Please, tell me one suitable replacement.
Does the Fiesta ST live up to the hype?
Maybe not as much now but it's still a lot of fun to drive.
If you can get over the fact that it's a Fiesta (which is generally the biggest complaint I hear about it) you'll like it quite a bit.
yes, and the mods are fairly easy to get into.
>>14842641
Too small. Get a Focus.
>2016
>people are still buying slow shitboxes falling for the "driver feels" meme.
>They daily these cars at regular speeds while talking about muh feels.
>>14842274
kek
Engine = feels
V8 or die
>>14842274
what anime is that? it looks like something I'd like to watch
does people in the USA consider a person driving manual cool or just someone who is overcompensating?
nope
"Oh he drives a manual, I guess he just likes cars because why else would you do it"
>>14842259
neither
the only reason anyone drives a manual here is for the novelty of it or because they think it's fun
Hey /o/ I need some help. I have a '99 cavalier that has a problem with the cooling fan not turning on.
I changed the thermostat, burped it, changed out the temp sensor and then today I replaced the cooling fan relay and fuse. The only way I can get the fan to kick on is if I have the AC turned on.
From what I can see, I don't see any issues with the wiring. Anybody have their car experience the same problems? Any help would be appreciated.
Pic obviously not related.
>>14841932
pic sauce pls
>>14841932
>cavalier
>>14842144
>>14842305
Thanks, I'll just wait and replace the head gasket.
That'll be way more fun than being proactive.
Is powder coating brake calipers going to look good? Should I do it?
As long as you don't powder coat it red/any other bright color on a shitbox, yes.
Matte black or bust.
>>14841481
I'm gonna powder coat mine bright orange and put a Lexus decal over it.
I drive an SC400.
