When will they end the rotary meme in this style of car. I love the way they look but they need a different engine. What engine would you guys put in these to fix their meme status and make them something not stupid to own.

As a weekend car they are great now but if you wanted to make this a daily driver sports car...what do?

IMO - Twin Turbo Something
or.....a V8 for death machine status.

This is mostly a shit post but really, any ideas I don't know how to fix this problem because I love the look of the car but the engine pisses me off. If i made more money I wouldn't care but sub 100k a year makes this annoying.

This dealer offers lifetime warranty, which is worth it in a car with parts as expensive as BMW.

What sub $2000 upgrades could I get for it?
I was gonna get a cobbs tuning stage 2 kit but it's only for the n54 335i

good deal. that is almost identical to the car my mom drove for 4 years. the auto is excellent in that car and they are a blast to drive.

don't tune these cars, stock for stock, they are great on their own. at most, get lighter wheels but they are nice stock.

Engine rebuilds, who here has done one themselves?

I really want to get an engine I don't have to rely on and pull that fucker apart, whats a better way to learn than to just dive in and take your time?.

if you're someone who can actually learn from others mistakes, rebuild it with someone who's already done it. it's not rocket science but there are plenty of places to make mistakes. otherwise, you've already pointed out the best way: read up, watch videos online and just fucking do it

Jaguars have shit reliability. They always have. Stupid shit, especially in the electrical system, will fail and then you won't be able to get to work/school/obligations.

You already posted this couple of days ago and you were told its just a mondeo with leather and jags grandpa bodykit. I like the classy look and smooth ride, but it isnt worth it.

It looks like it doesnt matter what we say you wont listen anyway, but remember these cars are cheap for reason

How bad of an idea is it to buy a A4 with over 400,000km on the chassis? Engine was replaced, has 45,000km on it. Pic related.

I've owned a 350k km A4 B6 just like pictured, 2.5 tdi with multitronic transmission.

1.8T. It's quattro as well. Not sure if any of them came non-quattro
>>
>>14869799
Mine was FWD
If it has a manual trans it might be not too bad, my engine was running fine, i've heard some bad things about the 1.8 turbo engine though.
Pretty stable chassis, decent comfort, the bushings and suspension bearings tend to wear out so it's likely you'll have to replace some

Hey, /o/. I am purchasing a bike this season and I have a 2000 cbr600 f4 in my sights. I like this bike because it was the same as the first bike I have ever owned and I enjoyed everything about it, including doing my own work on it. I am going to go look at it tomorrow but from the looks of the ad it is pretty g2g. My question is with 13,XXX mi how would you value this bike? KBB gives it about $2350 in excellent but that does not factor in the low mileage for the year. He has it listed for 2700 but I was going to offer 2400. Ideas?

>low mileage for the year

Anything over 10,000 miles is high mileage for a bike.

If it's stock and in excellent condition, I wouldn't pay more than $3,000

If it's modified, I wouldn't buy it.

Go and inspect the bike completely. Bring a mechanic or a friend that knows his way around bikes if you can. Don't just jump in for the low mileage.

Convince me to buy/not buy one of these, k?
They are cheap for a new performance car. They will hold value better than the highest spec Camaro or Mustang. There is a 4 door version if that is an issue.

BUT also in the ballpark price wise are several other interesting vehicles...

Which one is your favorite 1000cc supersports bike? I will want to get one in a few years, and as of recently, I'm leaning towards BMW S1000RR or the Aprilia RSV4 RF 1000. Any inputs or other favorites?

Sure is. The aestethics is a big part of why I love the S1000RR. The tech is another. I feel like it outperforms almost every other 1000cc supersport in those aspects.

ninja ZX-14. Competes with the busa, and all the other fastest ones out there. but its much more user freindly, you dont have to make love to it and learn intricate throttle motions to ride it like you do with a busa.

So in the search for my new car I've seen some pretty interesting things, one of which is a 2007 RX-8 with 105,000KM for 6g's. Why the fuck shouldn't I? I could get at least another 100,000km out of it before the dorito shits the bed right? And as long as you premix everythings seems to be fine except for the horrible gas mileage, but we don't buy sports cars because they're good on gas we buy them to have fun. I know to stay away from 2004-2005 due to just horrible ecu issues. Anybody with a RX-8 to chime in?

5.7-5.9 seconds to 93 kph isn't that bad IMO. It comes with a standard equipped LSD and if I'm fiending for power I can always go forced induction later on, might not be that reliable though.
