My sister's car broke down twice this month and the first bill was 380 dollars, and it broke down again and now it's gone up to 1300 dollars
she bought a smart car because of how compact it was and how fuel efficient it was and I was thinking in the back of my mind "this'll be bad in the long run" and lo and behold.
How in the fuck are we gonna get that money? I don't even make 1000 dollars a month, let alone 500. Not only that but my parents' disabilty goes towards the house (we take care of them) and internet. Why fucking live anymore? This whole fucking year has been shit for me.

So /o/, my mom took her car into the dealership for an oil change because she's a pleb and her AC stopped working when she got home.
Naturally I investigated. Her pressure is perfect, her clutch is engaging, everything is perfect except it's not blowing cool air. I have no idea what it is. Any ideas? It's a newish Honda in good shape.

I found a 1990 CRX with an 89 integra engine and tranny swap.
The shell has 300k on it, the owner doesn't know the mileage on the engine.
He's asking $1,000 and the body is immaculate.
Should I buy it? I drive a hand-me-down SUV that gets literally 8mpg and I need a commuter to go to school.
I have always wanted a crx but I'm nervous about this one's mileage, and I have very little spare money to get something nicer.
