I told you fiat fangirls this thing was shit, but you didn't believe me!
ITT: shit-talk the cars on this list.

Why not spend the extra money you would on mods (as anything decent AKA turbo is going to be at least a few grand) on something that's already better from the start?
>>14885003
E36 328i.
Has anyone here got into a minor or major accident while learning manual? Like stalling on a hill start or totally fucking up the transmission?
>>14884978
No only retards do this
When I first started I was in the habit of looking at my gauges instead of listening to the exhaust. Caused me to not see the person in front of me slam on their brakes and by the time I saw them not even threshold braking was enough to stop me in time. Barely did anything to her car though.
Which country has the best police cars?
Pic related, good ol Straya puttin Commodores to good public service use

USA hands down
Nothing better fits our boys in blue than intimidating cars driven by intimidating power driven cuck masters
>>14884853
>boys in blue
>black uniform
Cucked again.
UAE. Don't the police there drive lamborghinis and shit? I saw a video somewhere of a police Aston Martin chasing a ferrari.
>>14884853
Kek. Yeah some of them drive chargers, but most drive a taurus/explorer/crown Victoria.
I want
>Affordable
>Sporty
>Not FWD

Is the Subaru WRX basically my only option? I miss the pre-2008 models before they started to morph into bloated Corollas.
>>14884705
get a miata and fuck off
>>14884720
Not a good winter vehicle and I can't really fit anything in it.
>>14884705
speed 3
Ok boyos time to decide.
It seems im stuck between those 3 options.
If anyone has owned any of those 3 cars or at least tried them, comment on it. If you are going to shit on whatever car you hate the most for the sake of it or based on baseless meme-opinions, just get the fuck out aspie.
>>14884491
god dammit you worthless fuck stop posting this shit every day.
but hey, congrats on getting over your soft top fears. now buy a z4 and piss off.

He's buying a 10k europoor dollars car and this is at least the seventh time this indecisive shit has spammed this here.
Of course he is under 20.
Hey /o/, I'm looking to get a jeep for off-roading and daily commuting, with a hard top, that's not going to shit out on the first set of rocks I hit. Budget is about $10,000. What would you recommend?
>>14884349
Daily a jeep is gonna suck, maybe go Outback for a commuter
>>14884349
How do these handle at highway speeds?
>>14884419
imagine a focus with a lift kit.
Sister wrecked my car ('07 Mazda 3), but on the bright side, that does means I finally get my own car to myself. Obviously the STi packs a hell of a lot more power under the hood than the RS and is way more fun to drive. The STi is an absolute beast of a car but that accident made my whole family's insurance rates go up. I'm looking for a Subaru/Honda/Acura because of their legendary reliability.
>dad texts me a link to a craigslist post (pic related)
>'05 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Sedan
>5-speed manual
>only 64k miles
>no issues
>$5000
Is the Impreza RS worth it? Is it still fun to drive, despite being a nerfed Impreza? Should I get it?
Other cars I'm considering
>2006 Acura RSX
>2006 Honda Civic SI
>>14884307
considering your other options i'd say you need to jump on it quick fast and in a hurry
>>14884307
>that hood scoop
I'd say don't rush to get any car. Seems TOO cheap as well.
just fuck my shit up
Still looks fixable.
Also, why the fuck is a connector all in the open and not shielded against water
>>14884284
yeah i know but it pissed me off, bought the car last summer without inspecting too much and saw this when changing the spark plugs friday.
i dont know how much it will cost me to get it cut and then well a thick plate over the hole.
>>14884316
Spray some fish-o-lene up there to stop it getting any worse and don't ever tell anyone about it. Nobody needs to know.
If your state/country has inspections, chip the excess off with a screwdriver, put some masking tape over it and spray paint it silver again. Throw a handfull if dirt at it to make it look aged
hey /o/ so heres the deal, I am poor but I want to go fast. I have about $5,000 saved up so I think my best option would be a sport bike.
I found a 2000 hayabusa with only like 8,000 miles on it for $6,000 with nitrous ( I hope to haggle down the price )
never rode a bike before, I know /o/ says they are dangerous but I am a good driver with a car and have only gotten into a one crashes ( only cause I was drifting around an icy corner ). what safety equipment should I get? I have a snowboarding helmet I can wear but I dont want to buy a leather jacket because they look gay.

If your an adult, do whatever the fuck you want. Its your life at risk, not ours. Assess the risk and pull the trigger. Most people would say your an idiot, but we arent responsible for your actions.
1/10 troll.
I responded.
>first bike
>hayabusa
please be trolling
>ready to buy a used car
>looking at some under $100,000 for under $9000

I guess I should just finance a newer car instead
>>14884172

Check out WRX's and MazdaSpeed3's

I just bought a 2004 Corvette Automatic(I know) and I wanted to get some more power out of it without breaking the bank.
The engine does seem to have a lot of power but the 4 speed automatic is definitely a bottleneck when it comes to having fun with this car.
Any recommendations /o/?
smaller rear gear
a lower speed transmission staller
nitrous, you can probably spray like 100 hp on an ls1 safely
MVB.
sell it and enjoy the money
So I'm going to be driving across Canada from NB to BC. Car is a 2005 Jetta, 2.0L gas engine. I've had the oil changed and a new oil filter installed. I'm going to pick up a quart of oil to have in the trunk for emergencies.
Anything I should look out for about driving long distances?
>>14883902
Blown tires
Overheating
Serpentine belt snapping
Suicidal wildlife
Bugs on windshield
>>14883917
Adding onto that: If you drive too long, falling asleep at the wheel and treequinoxing.
Thank you for the responses
>>14883917
>Blown tires
Tries are new from 2015
>Overheating
It's still pretty cold here but I'll keep an eye on it and not push too hard.
>Serpentine belt snapping
I'll check it for cracks
>Suicidal wildlife
yeah apparently Northern Ontario is really bad for this. Planning on just falling in behind a transport.
>Bugs on windshield
I've got a full tank of windshield fluid
>>14883954
I have some fluorinated methylphenidate from a sketchy chinese lab. I'll probably have to take other drugs to be able to sleep at the end of the day but it is great for preventing drowsiness.
