So, I got hit by some unregistered cunt while turning left on a green light, and my car is totaled. Bitch insurance is only giving me $2300 (canadian) for it. Pic related, my baby. RIP.

So now I need a new car.

So, what are my options for cars that DON'T require their owner to turn in their testicles in exchange for the keys? No Civics, no hatchbacks, no "family cars", no wagons, NO trucks, and if it's front wheel drive, kill yourself. Manual preferred.

So far the best candidates seem to be an 80s-early 90s Camaro or Firebird, although finding those in running condition in my price range is somewhat difficult. Either that, or I'll get another BMW - I found one just like mine, but the faggot owner welded the diff, rendering the vehicle pointless for driving on the road.

Any ideas, /o/?

BMW unveiled the Concept Z4 on Thursday during the Monterey Car Week festivities in California. The Concept Z4, like the Concept 8 Series before it, gives us a preview of the new BMW Z4, which should debut in the next year or so -- again, just like the 8 Series.

In terms of traditional roadster aesthetics, it's all here. There's a low-slung body, a long hood, room for just two people and a roof that doesn't look like it'll be all that fun to have up. The seats are practically resting atop the rear axle, which makes the car look fast even while sitting still. The headlights sit rather high on the car -- BMW points to the Z8 for inspiration here.

I need some help getting ideas for a new vehicle. Image unrelated.

I am looking to lease a new vehicle for work (can write off the lease through my business). My first and only other vehicle was an older Ford Explorer, which was good and lasted a long time but I didn't like that it was 2WD.

I don't want a truck and I am 6'3" so tiny vehicles will be hard to fit in comfortably. I want the vehicle to do well in winter conditions (live in Canada, hated 2WD). I need bluetooth, power doors/windows, AC, anything else isn't really necessary.

I want to spend under $35000 (~$28000 USD) and I don't really care about brand. What are some options I should be looking at?

Its not the car from the picture, but mine will be from 2000, 1.6 petrol with only 80 000 km (documented) and is nowhere near that rusty as this one.

Okay, serious question now.

I'm from europe and I'm amazed how drivers from US are obsessed with huge, powerful engines. Why is that? Why would anybody ever need, for example, 350+ horsepower, v8 engine on public roads?

Inb4 butthurt eurofag with small, weak car. I drive an Audi a4 with modified 1.8t engine - almost 200 hp and I think it's way more than enough.

So I know the usual path for making power with a v8 modur is:
Cam
Heads
Headers
Intake

But what happens if you do it over time?
Like, just headers and intake, and internals later?
