So i have a RWD car and a few nights ago in the rain, i slammed from first to 2nd quickly and the shift actually made the back slide out.

I countersteered and regained control, but it was fucking annoying that it slid out like that. I was not even fully hooning, i was at about 4k rpm's in first before i switched to 2nd, the only hoon thing i did was dropping the clutch.

I'm running 235's at the moment, will getting a larger tyre stop this happening? Or will it still do this in the wet?

>literally being that out of touch with your car you can't predict the exact instance it breaks traction under power

wow give up cunt
>>
>>15075648
Quit trolling the OP you seppo cunt. If a car is breaking traction under power, it's set up wrong.

>Hurr look at me i LIKE my car sliding around

You sound like a fucking commodore owner.
>>
>>15075648
I just bought this car, sorry i'm still getting used to it.

Thing is, i've driven a lot of cars a LOT more powerful that have not done anything more than a tiny skid upon shifting. This fully slid out, meaning i'm more inclined to believe it's shitty tyres over the power (or lack thereof).

Is that why so many Americans buy them? Because they suck? How often do you see American plates on cars in Europe?

The new Jaguar XE, speaking about reliability, has some very serious issues...also the assistance is the worst shit I've ever seen.

Does everything here look to be in order. Like is everything there. I'm buying this 1966 mustang and I want to make sure this engine has everything it's supposed to have. Any help would be great.

The modern V6 Mustangs and Camaros have over 300 horsepower. Why do you guys hate them? I am sure everyone would rather have the V8 versions, but not everyone shits gold bricks or wants to finance it for 100 years.

tl;dr, why is 300 HP too little for /o/ ?

Because the whole point of the cars is the v8. You could buy a 370Z if you wanted a v6.
>>
>buy the shitty budget version of a car for attention
>LOL NOT EVERY1 IS RICH GOD

Buy a different fucking car, it's the same story every time. The only reason you'd ever buy a V6 muscle car is so you can brag about it to equally automotive retarded normies

Anyone regularly clean/detail their cars?

What's your favourite products?

Just a few of mine:

>optimum no rinse (car wash)
>finish kare 425 (spray detailer)
>druagloss aquawax (spay wax)
>einszett 1z blitz (multi purpose cleaner)
>303 aerospace protectant (spf 40 for rubber, vinyl, plastic)
>autoglym super resin polish (paint polish)

I also have about a dozen pots of various waxes, I don't really have a favourite.

Yeah

> Rinse
> Snowfoam 2oz soap, let dwell for ~2-3 min.

If its a simple wash I will use Optimum wash, otherwise Megs Gold Class or CG Maxi Suds II as they will strip old wax fast. Used a glimour foam gun before and recently upgraded to a foam cannon I use with a pressure washer, $20 DUSICHIN off of amazon is the same thing CG sells for $80.

> Rinse with water passed through a 100 micron filter (Reduces watermarks greatly and a $16 filter will last many many washes
> Wipe down with 50:50 mix of distilled and isopropyl
> Clay use soapy water as lube
> Wipe down with 50:50 mix of distilled and isopropyl
> Correct flaws
> Apply wax of choice.

Been using P21s but Switching back to Autoglym HD with a spray wax top coat. Megs ultimate spray wax is packed full of fillers and will maintain the lower layers. For a maintenance wash I will skip the isopropyl wipe down and clay and just re-apply the spray wax after drying.

> Dress trim, Autoglym Vynil/Rubber or Mothers Back to Black depending on the surface/condition
> Glass, Stoners invisible
> Wheels get dressed with Optimum tire gel, nice matte look that wont sling.

I tend to stick with Adams, and Optimum products, there is a lot or overpriced repackaged stuff out there that is sold by different brands with dye/scent packages.

I use a lot of different no name Korean MF towels and applicators.
>>
I currently use:

>Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss car soap
>Chemical Guys Nonsense general cleaner
>Mothers clay bar kit
>Chemical Guys Pete's '53 car wax
>Chemical Guys Signature Series Wheel Cleaner
>Chemical Guys Silk & Shine rubber/plastic/leather detailer
>Invisible Glass window cleaner
