So this is apparently the 'fastest car ever made'. How many cylinders does its engine have, and what's the displacement?
The next one's got a V12. As a fuel pump.
>>15089878
powered wheel is a different category
and that's the worlds fastest motor cycle
>>15089878
you can see both engines in that picture. there are no cylinders
Thoughts on putting a Confederate flag or Rising Sun flag license plate on your car?
>>15087013
take a Confederate flag, and cover it with the white bits of the Rising Sun flag
offend everyone

This, what's the point of life if you're not pissing off everybody who is sensitive about dumb shit.
We all hear the stereotypes about how Europeans (and many other nationalities) "hate" American muscle and such, but what do you guys think?
Do international /o/ bros like/dislike American cars? Any reasoning?
Europeans like american cars in general because they are quite rare and look "exotic" and stand out when compared to euro cars
ime only people who know fuck all about cars hate american cars
>>15071316
I've wondered about that, too.
Like, is it the reverse of the United States where everyone here owns a BMW/Mercedes as a status symbol, so would people in European countries own Mustangs/Camaros/etc, not necessarily as a status symbol, but due to rarity/exclusivity?
What's the point of owning a vehicle with a V8 engine in 2016?
owning a v8

How else are you gonna ride eternal on the Fury Road?
Going fast and being loud.
why do you cucks hate on pushrods and then jackoff at night to the thought of an LS swap in your shitbox?
>/o/ is made up of two people
>implying i don't want an ITB ford 5.0 liter coyote v8 in my shitbox

People who actually care about cars and aren't shitposting underageb& benchracers can see the benefits and drawbacks of different valvetrains.
ITT: we design the car from hell
I'll start:
>Flat head style head bolts which require to be torqued to 150ft/lbs
>in fact, every single fastener is flat head
>including the wheel lugs
>>15087948
Engine is a horizontal twin connected to a dual rotor Wankel, sequential turbos have really loud blowoff valves but only make around 6 pounds of boost
no power steering and no weatherstripping
drum brakes all around
>>15087948
In order to access the engine bay to service parts such as the starter, alternator, water pumpy etc you must first remove metal retainer brackets blocking your way that require a special tool that isn't sold to the public, and would take a lot of fabrication work to imitate
Don't you sometimes have that urge to just pick up your keys and drive through the night?
No traffic, no speed limits to obey, nobody to bother you.
Especially after a very bad day. It's somewhat releasing.
If you feel the need to do that you're depressed and need to talk to your doctor or go to a depression discussion group

oi m80s, blog post incoming. Sorry in advance.
>studying economics in Germany
>planning to do exchange semester in the US from August '17 - February '18
>while I'm there I'd like to rent a small garage I can live and store a car in, something used, fast and cheap (Crown Vic, Mustang for example but can be every fucking other car that fits these criterias)
>to be able to afford rent and car/living expenses I want to work as a car mechanic, don't care if illegal or not - I have enough knowledge not to fuck shit up
>BUT I need to go to certain colleges my university is partners with, which are:
>Allegheny College, Meadville, and Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
>Ole' Miss, Oxford, Mississippi
>NYU, New York
>UOM, Minneapolis, Minnesota
>Duke University, Durham, North Carolina
>UOA, Tucson, Arizona
>Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana
so which one of these states offers the best car culture? And by that I mean quality of roads, car scene, cheap cars, cheap gas and possibility of speed traps/cops raping me when I go 0.0000002 miles to fast.
>help me live the dream, br/o/thers. Pic very related.
>>15083505
Indiana will have the lowest cost of living in that group.
Arizona. Least rust, dry climate, based republican government and. Living lifestyle.
First, eliminate states with snow. Snow, and the salt that comes with it on the roads, sucks for vehicles. It also means certain cars are less usable during the winter months. No Midwest and no New England.
Next, eliminate shitty anti-fun states like California.
That leaves you with the southwestern and southern states basically.
Should people be allowed to modify their private property?
>>15090101
As long as the car is still legal, why wouldn't they?
>>15090101
No.
>Cool car anon!
>Mind if I sit on it?
deadmau5's girl?
Makes sense why she would do that to Ferraris, considering how much of a shitstorm they threw up when he dared to modify his in a way they didn't like.
Some people are just going around asking to be beaten with a tire iron.
What a retard. Woman of no concept of work and thus no appreciation of ownership.
>this will probably be what the new Giulietta will look like
>will be RWD
Thoughts /o/?
>>15088216
Does that mean a RWD Dart?
>>15088216
When even manufacturers like bmw are ditching rwd for the C segment, Alfa economical choices are beyong stupidity.
inb4 Alfa will have the same fate as Lancia. Just wait and see.

What are /o/'s thoughts on the 240sx?

Pretty shit unless you like modyfying everythang.
>>15082923
Pretty much this.
They're ugly as fuck stock

That was the plan. Are they hard to find in decent shape, though?
What would it take for you to respect Cadillac again?
>>15087441
It doesn't matter how good certain Cadillacs models are. Without aggressive marketing and undercutting established German rivals, Cadillac's market share won't grow.

>again
>>15087441

Dumb things stupid people say.

It's a Beretta. What possessed him to take this photo?
>>15086184
Considering they run 13s stock I woldn't put it in the realm of impossibility, although I don't know the specifics.
I love to hate the corvette. It's such a piece of crap.
>Archaic pushrod single cam engine
>ECU cuts power after a couple highway pulls because the engine is so frail
>Archaic cross-plane crank design
>Can't even do 1 lap around the Nurburgring without crashing
Why is Chevy so far behind the curve?
The new NSX has a mid mounted TT V6 with electric motors, and looks extremely modern. The new Ford GT has a carbon frame and a mid mounted TT V6, sharing the beautiful and modern design cues that the NSX, 458 Italia, and other forward cars have. The GT-R is faster than the Corvette with a TT V6. The new GT350 has a flat-plane crank, meaning it will sound much better than the Corvette, and is just a better piece of engineering overall.
All of these cars look much better than the overdesigned, childish extrerior of the C7. The oversized belled quad exhaust tips, the ugly hexagonal brake lights, and everything else is just on another level below the current design language that other modern sports cars wear.
Why are there so many Corvette fans on /o/? It's such an inferior, cheap, and dated piece of engineering compared to other modern sports car.
chevys not behind the curve....the nsx and ford gt are both over engineered overpriced pieces of shit. chevrolet has been keeping it simple yet EXTREMELy reliable i.e. the ls motor.
I'm always impressed when I see a new vette. Much better looking than the GTR imo. It's always smaller than I imagine as well.
