Maseratis are legendary for breaking down, expensive repairs, and needing a long time in the shop. I don't know the specifics of the GT issues, I'm mainly going off rumor and anecdotes from people I know who have owned newish Maseratis (they all regret the purchase due to reliability issues to put them mildly).

Do the back seats need to be big and usable, as in adults can comfortably sit back there? Is your budget around 60k?

For a grand tourer I'd look into BMW 5 and 6 series. You could get a used kitted out m6 for 60k and have it be much more reliable and easier to maintain than a Maserati, though it won't look as good and probably won't be as fun to drive.

It depends honestly, I hated driving it south on 95 from DC to Fredericksburg, shit was bumper to bumper and can tax your knees, but if your area is lower population it would probably be more enjoyable

When they told me they would weld it back on I figured they would just weld it back on to the resonator. And I figured they wouldn't compensate me for the melted bumper but I would have liked a simple sorry rather than them trying to fuck me a second time.

Here's another. My dad recommended to me a local mechanic who he always had good experiences with. When I took my car in for grinding noise when turning, I got a $100 diagnosis fee and they told me it was the torque converter. I took it to a meineke a couple weeks later and they charged me 50 bucks to bend the piece back in place that was rubbing when turning.

Mercedes owns AMG, so, they drive what it goes on. I imagine the badge adds so much profitability that it is tempting to stick it on just about anything.

Now they make AMGs with main plant engines, like the v6 that is going in the c43. I'm sure it is a nice engine, but it isn't an AMG - and it isn't a special car.

They also make a GLE 450 AMG now with a similar story. See attached.

They may be working to fund a supercar, but, if they use the AMG brand for the supercar I think they are making a big mistake by tossing it on everything - diluting the brand.
