I had a rebuilt transmission installed into my Saab 900 classic. Sometimes it is hard to get it into first gear. The other gears seem to go in without problems.
What could the thing be? Why only first gear and why does it go in smooth sometimes and sometimes not?
>>17667490
What the hell does that ad say?
Is the first gear synchronized? Sounds like it's not, this was very common up until the '70s.

SAAB
IS A HOT CAR EVEN IN THE BACKSEAT
SAAB:s new ventilationsystem gives fresh air and even heat to the whole car.
The Windshield and the rear window keeps clear even in sheer coold. Test drive it whilst its cold outside. Then you will notice how good the fwd reacts to snow.
Ok br/o/s, I'm moving to Ohio from Massachusetts for college.
I just wanted to get a preview of what its like out there, weather, street laws, vehicle inspections, shit like that.

That's what insurance is for. Also you are very naive if you think old Land Rovers are THIS cheap. 15 year old Defenders with 300.000km get sold for prices in the €10.000-€15.000 range here.

Why are these things so difficult to find /o/? I have a hard on for the 1st gen RAV4 3-door, but I've never seen one up for sale on CL or eBay. Plenty of the 5-door ones though. I see them on the road every once in a while in my area, so I know they exist.
My only guess is that people must love them, so they're not selling them.

The ones that haven't rusted to dust are on their way and not worth selling. /thread
Post classic racecars.

Because you are too poor to buy it.

Why does /o/ not talk about pic related? I always see threads that just talk about the Fiesta. Buddy of mine has one and from what I've seen so far its pretty fun.
Because this place is all about the RS and the FiST.
Dunno why.

Currently taking a road trip in my brothers 2016 focus ST.
We are going to the Ford racing school in Utah.
I personally think it's super overrated
It's not bad by any means, but I prefer a V8 up front and the driven tires behind me.
I own one, I enjoy it.

What fucking decade am I in? Did the 1980's suddenly come back to haunt us all? None of you ride unbelted I hope.
my girlfriend is an anime character. do you think i am the sort of person care? the sort of person with a life left to live? at best, i only "fashion" my seatbelt using some flimsy duct tape to placate the cops. the sooner i fly out the windshield and land under the wheels of a lifted truck the better.
come sweet death, come blessed quiet.

what is the best way to challenge a car next to you a street race. everytime i pull up to some (insert fast car here) i just wanna race them. but i don't wanna just floor it like a retard while they're going the speed limit.
>>17666407
Rev a little bit while looking at them like you want to fugg
>>17666407
Honk
side swipe them and trade some paint but drive away as fast as possible
if they have a drop of hot blood in their veins they will accept the challenge
if they win, you have to buy them a pizza as payback (XL with all the toppings they want at the best joint in town--no cheaping out with Marco's $5 hot-n-ready. have some reapect)
Hello /o
I am trying to get my first car and I am a new driver.
I need it to live for 2 years without completely breaking or making me spend large amounts on it. I am getting it to get experience in driving without being too scared to break the thing myself. After those 2 years it will either going to be sold or go for metal.
Preferably automatic b/c I don't want to burn the transmission within the first half of the year (maybe I won't but I'm a bit afraid).
I am not planning on going farther than 30miles away from home often.
I am sorta kinda maybe not willing to do some repairs myself (I don't have a place for that).
My budget is 2300-2500.
One weird point: I absolutely do not want civic. Some bad memories.
After looking at the picture guide I thought about toyota corolla. I was told that it is pretty reliable and easy to find for sale. Any other possible matches?
For me it seems like buying a used car is a very annoying gamble.
