Just bough a cheap one from Walmart, actually works a lot better than I though.

These don't work well with radar detectors and phone mounts
>>17669223
I use one with a dashcam, I just unscrew the dashcam from the mount and leave the suction cup on it. Works ok.
Yo i need THIS spoiler for ma cruze

I would assume they help fuel economy?
Either way, he doesn't need one, he wants one.
Hey /o/,
I've got this truck cap and no longer need it. I've got 3 photos of it which I'll post, but not too long ago the side window shattered (I think the kids down the street broke it). Anyway, I'm curious to know where to get the side glass replaced and how much it would cost. Would it even be worth it?
Thanks

Car cleaning general. I'm spending this lovely Saturday cleaning my car.
Do you enjoy cleaning your /o/?
What's your tips and tricks?
How often do you detail your /o/?
Pro tip:
>Use an electric razor to shave your ragged old carpet. The carpet will look brand new
I detail mine ( never removed the seats) at least once a month or when it gets really dirty. One thing I do is dry the outside with a cotton t-shirt that stays damp. Gets rid of water spots and any dirt left behind.

That's a great idea. I always have issues with spots.
Removing the seats helps a lot
Why aren't blue interiors more popular?
>>17668507
>blue interior
I just saw that on a 488.
Shit was cash.
>>17668507
because now the cool thing are edgy cars with black interiors that impose fear.
>>17668507
I think the problem with blue interiors is they give a cheap feel to a lot of components, pictures don't really do it justice - in person it just doesn't look as good. With that being said, it looks great when properly done.

Getting a 2011 Acura CSX (about 100,000km) for 11,500$!!!
How about you guys? any good deals recently?
>>17668331
>good deals
Like the one you didn't get? That's about $3000 more than that piece of shit is worth.
uncle sold me his 87 Toyota 1/2 (22RE) for $200 a few Summers ago. Pretty good deal... if you don't consider the parts and labor I put in to replace rear mail seal, slave cylinder, carb (went with a real redline weber for that overkill factor)

Have fun doing oil changes
Hey /o/, I just got Audi 80 and I have no idea nor I can find any info on what this red light on very right means. Any help would be appreciated.

/o/pinions on the 2000 Toyota Solara V6?
>$2,000
>Stick shift
>172702 miles
Is this a good deal? Pic related is not the one I'm after, but a stock pic.
>>17668215
1mz is a reliable engine just prone to sludge issues of oil changes weren't done correctly. Check for that. Other than that, pretty bulletproof. No they don't handle and no they aren't sporty. Yes they're women's cars. Just a feminine Camry coupe really. Not a bad car.
>>17668215
You could get em with a stick and v6? Bretty nice, I had a 03 Camry v6. It wasn't.. slow. About as quick as your average newer compact car
>>17668239
These cars did 0-60 in about 8 seconds. Not slow I guess but nowhere near quick. I drove an Avalon (basically same car but more power) for years and it was mearely adequate
Cars from the 80s and especially the 90s are still a common sight on today's roads. When will all of the pre 2000 cars be phased out?
>>17668087
They'll be banned soon enough.
I dont think 80s cars are that common not compared to 90s cars
even early 90s cars are starting to become less common unless its just a shitbox like a Camry or Civic that will run forever
seems to be about 30 years for a decade of cars to lose their commonplace

Kill myself probably
Is it ok to fill up with gas when your tank is over half full? I have a car I only drive on weekends and usually I'll fill it up on Friday regardless of how much fuel it has. Usually it's 3/4 full but I still fill up. Should I run it to empty to keep the gas fresh? Will topping off old gas cause the gas to degrade and hurt my car? Does gas spoil like food?
Gas does spoil, but I've seen cars run fine on pure gas that had sat for nearly two years
I wouldn't be worried - you keep topping it up with fresh petrol, and I wouldn't think you'll ever reach the point where the octane has dropped low enough to cause ignition trouble
>>17668005
Would it make a difference if it's a high octane car? I use shell premium because the car is a 6.4 L Challenger. I just worry about stuff like this because I plan on keeping the car a very long time.
As others have said, you should be fine. Maybe skip one Friday a month to get the tank down to 1/8 or less, then fill up. And/or add some sta-bil or similar if you want. I only drive my car 1-2 times a month in the summer, and I add fuel stabilizer before letting it sit, and have had no problems.

When people lack self introspection they turn out exactly like this poor excuse of a human being. I bet he thinks his kids are perfect in every way and when the teachers need to have a meeting to go over their children's shitty behavior he chalks it up to "haters" or "poor teaching".
this has to be satire

What have you done on your shitbox today?

I'm taking my shitbox to an HPDE next weekend so am flushing the brakes with Stoptech fluid.
I have to weld a hole for inspection. But I have 10 months left to do it.
