Are big brakes on a daily overkill? I'm tempted to upgrade my brakes to a set of brembo's but I'm not sure if it's worth it given I would only get full use out of them 10 percent of the time. What's your thoughts /o/ ?

I have a hypothetical for you.
You suddenly have an infinite amount of money and a sudden overwhelming desire to see the world, and in order to do so, drive the route in pic related (I'll write out a rough list too).
Rules
- have to choose one conventional 4 wheeled vehicle to do it. You can't swap vehicles en route
- you have infinite money, so are allowed to bribe officials to make border crossings no problem
- you have infinite money, so in large enough towns and ports you can pay boat captains to ship you and your vehicle overseas as shown on the map
