?What does /o/ think of the Honda Fit?
I trying to find a new car. I'm looking for something economical, but it has to be big enough to occasional take my two kids (wife has a Hyunday wagon for such purposes) and my rucksack/duffel bags. I checked out a Fit recently and was impressed. I couldn't do all of it at once, but in on configuration or another I could haul the kiddos and gear when needed. I can afford to buy new, but I'd like to try and keep this to $10,000
Anyone had one? Pros/Cons? Reasonable alternatives?
Just don't expect a fast car

The best thing about the Fit is the magic seats. If you don't think you'd use that feature often, than there are better alternatives like the Chevy Sonic (must be the 1.4L Turbo) or the Ford Fiesta.
It's a prius with a Honda sticker.
If you don't value your manhood, go ahead.
MK7 GTI or 2016 WRX?
Both of these are a similar price in Canada.
>>15189025
Both terrible cars
WRX if you want a car that's actually somewhat good, GTI if you've given up on life and vape enough to choke out even Subaru owners
>>15189025
Ive driven both but i would go for the WRX since i heard the AWD handling was better on it. The haldling on a GTI is still god tier on tarmac and dry conditions though.
Do dealerships service vehicles thay have been on their lot for a long time? For instance if it has been sitting for 1 year + is it safe to assume they start them up, change the fuel, and change the oil?
>>15188928
No way they would do that. All used cat dealers are jews (at least concerning money).
>>15188939
Talking about new
No one knows?
Hey /o/
I've made this mistake in the past, but I come seeking advice because my car's userbase is a bit slow to respond on forums, and I'm bored and looking for things to do NOW!
Carbon. It's been a little bit on fire in the past, lacquer has faded, cracked in places (see Link sticker) and yellowed.
Can I just rub back and re-lacquer?
Also, how flexy should my bonnet/hood be? At 80mph + it looks as though it's about to pop open (but I've tested to 150) I'm also wondering if the flex might be the reason my lacquer cracked in the first place.
Worth mentioning that the skin has separated from the frame in places, I'm repairing that as I type.

I figure, worst comes to worst, I can just fill and spray this bonnet body colour, that was the plan originally anyway, since I was told it was totally fubarred when I went to pick it up.
In the end I did a test fit and liked it carbon, so it's stuck
Never. Ever.
Top one looks kind of acceptable and quite cool while the bottom one looks like total ass. A waste. A big fat mistake.
>>15190461
It's look like a shitty concept version of the c10 skyline
>>15188855
the top one should've been put into production. I don't even like small "economy" sports cars but it would've put nissan back on the map as a reputable sports brand. Plus it looks miles better than the FRS/BRZ/GT86 and Miata.
Does anyone know of a reliable truck I could get for about 2000 usd? Preferably something as big as an F-150. Age doesn't matter eaither. I just want a truck that will get me from point A to B and still haul things when I need it too. Pic related. Not my truck but looks just like it.
Of course, there's old beat to shit base model 2wd fleet trucks for cheap everywhere

F150 with the 300 cubic inch 6 cylinder.

What do you need to haul?

It's french "cash for clunkers" when the state doesn't give you money. It's less communist way to support your car producers.
I don't support this btw.
>not diesel cars, trucks and buses
if that happened here I would probably kill myself
Going to drive 2 hours to look at a 05 mustang 150,000 miles for $5000 cause my gf wants it.
Anything I should know about this car before she buys it?
Any tips on what to check out besides what the sticky says?
>V6
top cuck
>>15188528
It's for my gf. I don't want her driving a v8 anyway. Bad enough she's probably gonna hot rod this car lol
>>15188516
>my gf wants it
kill yourself, cuck.
What happens when I replace the dashboard instruments panel?
Will the mileage on the old one apply? How do I reset this?
Old one for comparison
>>15188422
Set it to something lower and drive to make up the difference :^)
>>15188436
Can you just turn it with your fingers?
Why do people talk about card wheels like they arent apart of the car?
People talk about wheels as if they are like some add on jewlerry or an accesory and that really irks me because they are a major a critical part of a car.
>that abomination of an EF hatchback

How can stancefags take themselves seriously?
I dunno man, it's weird. Luckily stancefagging isn't very popular here. They're the minority at the meets I've been to.
>here's a bunch of people enjoying themselves and having fun with their cars
>why is this allowed???
You sound like an embittered person.

>ugh, why doesn't everyone have the exact same preferences for cars as i do???????

Should I buy a g37? is there a better car for the money?
Just buy a type R < 5k and shut the fuck up
>>15187883
I'm buying used, that's a bit out of my budget
>>15187887
and a g37 is how much?
I'm looking for a midsized truck to replace my (now ded) Ranger. The Ranger was horrible for what I do, so I need a truck that can do the following.
>be comfy on long trips
>be able to haul about 5k pounds
>comfortable room for 3 people
>fully-adjustable drivers seat
>good on gas
I'm looking at a GMC Canyon mainly, but also have the Chevorlet Colorado and Toyota Tacoma behind it. I already checked out the Tacoma, and with a harsh ride and non-adjustable seats make it the last I'm considering. I'm going to GMC tomorrow to test drive the Canyon.
I know there arent many options, but I also saw the new Ridgeline is coming out later this year. Unfortunately I don't think I can wait another 4-6 months to replace my truck. I also don't know anything about the Nissan Frontier, but I may take a look at that as well.
As far as I know the canyon and Colorado are the same truck. The Tacoma is really the only other option out there. Maybe something by Nissan?
>>15187737
The Canyon is slightly more expensive and more refined. Much like the difference between a GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado.
Other than those two, there's the Tacoma, and the Nissan Frontier. Honda is coming out with a new Ridgeline late this year, and Ford is releasing the Ranger for the US market in 2018/2019.
Pretty much everything is better than the Frontier, including the Ridgeline.
