using a wooden steering wheel without driving gloves: yes or no?
I really like the look of them but I don't want it to be uncomfortable or regret not going for a leather nardi that I don't like the look of
bls

Unless it's a vintage French car or a vintage Mercedes a wooden wheel makes you look like an asshole
>>17679014
They're uncomfortable.
Just saw a former coworker yesterday. He financed a brand new Corolla with a sunroof.
What is /o/'s opinion on this matter?
>>17678790
That's a Honda.
damn he looks like THAT?
he sounds like a sensible man
Does anyone have access to AutoCheck or Carfax that would be willing to run a VIN?
I was going to sub to the unlimited AutoCheck but it looks like they've discontinued it and $70 for the Carfax one is too steep.
Anybody doing VIN checks? Looking to buy a car used in Craigslist.
Haven't seen Vinbro in a While, i'm interesed in a car but i'd like to Know more of it (can't Take it to a mechanic since it's being sold on a car auction website.
I would appreciate if someone could help JTKJF5C78C3032084 thanks.
So it looks like Carfax only does unlimited checks by license plate now, which seems almost completely useless. So unless someone stops by with a dealer account, I doubt anyone is going to waste one of their "purchased checks" checking random vins.
The old days, I miss them so...
I am seriously thinking of buying this car, are they're more reliable compare to toyota badge models?
Well, Toyota doesn't have an equivalent to the LS in the United States - it's a FR V8 platform. But it's incredibly reliable, and maximum comfy.
>>17678270
Very reliable the LS400 and LS430 were the most reliable cars on the road for every year they were in production. The ls430 is believed to be slightly less reliable and have slightly worse build quality than the over engineered models before it but in no way is it bad. Fantastic cars

If the timing belt brakes, then the engine is destroyed. Party over.
Redpill me on being a mechanic /o/. Where to get training? Daily autism to deal with?
buy a shit heap and daily it
>>17678224
This.
Also work in a parts store
>>17678139
dont do it. its a shit job, and with ICE engines being obsolete in 20 years you'll only be changing tires and updating firmware.
Get a real job

For those who’d prefer the Turbo’s all-wheel drive with the GT3 RS’ aggressive appearance, TopCar is here to help with its latest Stinger GTR upgrades.
The second-generation body kit features new bumpers and fenders front and rear with more ducting to make a 911 Turbo or Turbo S look more like a GT3 RS, right down to the air extractors above the front wheels. All the components are made by vacuum-formed carbon fiber to cut down on weight, and leaves key parts exposed for a little more flash.

I want this jeep but the only thing stopping me is it has 506k miles on it and the person who posted didn't say if the engine has been rebuilt or not. Assuming that it hasn't, is it worth getting?
>>17676965
>$2500
>506k miles
>a heep
don't play yourself anon LMAO
>>17676965
After a certain amount of miles, mileage doesn't matter anymore as everything that wears has been replaced at some point. It just depends how recent a lot of the work is and much rust there is.
>>17676965
Drive it until the odometer rolls over and then sell it as low mileage.
How did it turn out?
Did my rangers rust repair, kinda turned out like shit but that's my fault. Mustang's front clip went a bit better, but anything was better than the primer beforehand. It's a good experience and works well enough for a shitbox, just not a nice car.
any plastidipfags in here?

something like this?
I have found the 2009 G37S Sedan 6 Speed Manual after a long time of looking. But I was wondering if the price is worth it. Here is a bit of details; The car is clean title, around 100k miles, few dings and passenger seat a bit ripped, lowered on springs 2 inches, aftermarket wheels and he is the 3rd owner. He wants $8500 for it. The problem is that is a out of state car ( I live in California) and to pick it up and drive it back I will spend a minimum of $500. Is it worth it? and what to look for in a 2009 G37S . Thank you.
BTW is white.
Just get an E92 M3 instead lol.
get a 350z
>>17676816
For $8500?
