I that gives you any indication.

Ever been in a street race? Stories? What do you drive?
Also, what are the rules just three honks and go? What point do you stop

When he cums, of course. Everything would be ungrateful.
Have you ever woken up in a new car, anon?
I usually wake up without the new car
Man that thing looks nice
Never slept in a vehicle. If I owned a Chiron, I would probably be paranoid enough about it to sleep in it.
Somebody tell me why the Ferrari 599 GTO isn't the best modern Ferrari of the past 15 years
It is. It looks like a real car instead of the dumb looking mid engined shit that every company is doing right now.
It is the only Ferrari with class that I would drive around town or to dinner. The long hood and stout rear make it a very handsome vehicle. The proportions are perfect. I'd take one over a 458 Italia any day.
>>15253253
It's certainly one of my favorites. I imagine they'll appreciate like crazy.
So 458= 4.5 veeate
By that logic that's a 5.9 9 cylinder.
WITCHCRAFT I TELL YOU
Working on the car in the street - yes or no?
Recently had to do the timing chain and valve job on my car, and had nowhere else to do it but in the street. Its a residential no through street. Made a few friends, other people are burning a hole in the back of your neck, you can feel their eyes popping out lol.
Had people coming up to me asking for car advice, and asking if im a mechanic (im not) when they saw as much as a cylinder head cover off.
But now I`m sort of ashamed to keep working on it. Very rarely you see someone with the hood up. Feel sort of like a black sheep now, for 3 weekends in a row did nothing but fix`d postponed problems.
I can not afford to take it to a repair shop for each little crap that comes up. Did not make any mess and didnt leave the car in a unsighty way overnight, I organise stuff in a way to make sure that the wheels go back each evening if they needed taking off.
Fixed accident damage earlier this year (just a front wing and headlight change), but had some brackets to straighten behind the headlight. Shop wanted to charge $1400. Done it in 2 days.
I wouldnt go as far as doing engine swaps though, if I had to do that, I`d rent a garage or something for a week.
I checked relevant laws regarding car repair in the street here, and its legal to do it, as long as the car doesnt stay in a immobile state for longer than 3 days and its not business repairing (other peoples cars)
Whats your status on this?
This is the problem with America these days. The hobbyist mechanic being frowned upon is so fucking disgusting.
>>15245845
I live in a yuropean city, by the law I'm not alowed to fix my car in the street, I can be fined with 400€ or even thousands if I get caught spilling shit on the street.
The law was intended to curb shadetree mechanics who doesn't pay taxes and leave a mess of shit behind whetever they go but, by the letter of the law, I can be fined too.
Because don't like to depen on some policeman day's mood, I prefer to use some garage for fixing the whip.
Had to swap a waterpump and timing belt on the street once. No one had any problems with it because i built a small shelter out of tarps to cover it. No one knew what i was doing in there or else the old cunt that lived across the street wouldve called the cops.
I dont live there anymore, now i actually have access to a garage and the neighbors know me as the "Toyota Guy" now.
The neighbor across the street this time is an Audi Mechanic and one 3 houses down is a Motorcycle Mechanic.
Theres a Diesel Mechanic down the street too, always messing with Fords and Chevys.
Living around Blue Collar white people aint bad.
BMW 318is ( E 36 ) or BMW 318i ( E46 )
which one is nicer to live with?
I like the styling of the E36 more, but it is weaker and older.
What would you pick, /o//?
>inb4 moostang or something
europe here, so BMWs are basically the only choice I have.

Pajeet, old Mercedes are way better for you.
>>15256054
Can you get your hands on an E36 328i?
pro tip, you're not impressing anyone with a $2000 bmw, a 318 is not gonna make you a "bad boss"
Ok /o/, do you park your car on gear + Handbrake or Neutral + Handbrake and why.
>Inb4: P for parking
>Inb4: Don't use either, don't care if it rolls.
Handbrake only most of the time,
Will put it in gear + handbrake only if it's on a sharp incline
>>15255615
This. Me and my brother and dad leave our cars in neutral and leave the brake up.
My mom and sister and older brother leave their cars in first gear and brake up.
But all of us leave it in gear brake up on inclines. It's common sense
in reverse and handbrake

What changed the most for you when you got your first sporty car, /o/?

Hey,
I recently purchased a 2001 Subaru Liberty B4 Manual Sedan with 130,000kms on it for $3000.
The bad news is that it's got a bit of damage, and I ended up buying a new front bumper, and front guards for it. Now the colours don't match. I am considering what options I have for making it not look like the bag of dicks it currently looks like now, but I'd like some ideas, if possible.

Does /o/ have any experience with replacement air filters like the K&N, HKS and the such?
Mainly the only reason you'd buy one of those filters is because of the fact they're washable. If you live in an environment like Arizona where it shits dust you need one that you can wash off every so often and not spend 30 bucks a pop on a standard paper filter.
Supposedly they flow better but that's just marketing horseshit
Don't get a cold air intake either. That's just marketing spam if the rest of the engine is 99% stock. Hell it might even hurt cars because the ECU miscalculates for A/F ratio and can make your engine run lean.
TL;DR get one if you want to save some cash in the long run, but don't buy into marketing
Upgrade to a donaldson powercore and change your filter every ~100,000miles. Even when it is full it will still clean the air better than any regular paper filter. Very free flowing design. Works on a similar concept to a labyrinth oil bath filter but without the oil.
The filtration isn't that great, all kinds of shit can get in your engine.
Going back to college in the fall and I need something that can kill me at a moment's notice. What's the fastest car I can get for under 10k USD? Nothing older than 2000.
