I bought my first vehicle a few months ago. How do you think I did? Here are the details. 1994 Dodge Dakota, ext cab, 4x4, 5 speed manual, 5.2 liter V8, with 202 thousand miles. It's rusty but not to bad. The only real problem is the A/C doesn't work.

I demanded that the be removed from my last two vehicles. Got all the way to the sales agent, and told him flat out "the ugly ass advertisement badges come off or I walk, I am inflexible on this." They came off.
Got out of paying paperwork fees on one the same way. They had the little sign that said the fee had to be something we both agreed on, told the guy that the only value I agreed to pay was $0. He said he didn't need my business, then. I didn't make it to the door before he jumped up out of his chair to get me to come back.

/o/, I just got myself a 'new' car a couple of weeks ago. In my month or so of browsing and shitposting on this board, I have yet to come across a thread about how /o/ takes care of the interior of their vehicles. Granted, it's not necessarily the most popular subject, but it still seems like a topic worth discussing.
I just got back from the store and bought a sunshade for the windshield and some air fresheners to start with. Besides this beginner stuff, what other products do you purchase to maintain the interior of your vehicles?
Does your car have leather seats or vinyl? What do you do to keep it from cracking? Maybe you have cloth seats... How do you keep those clean, and what do you use to clean them in the event of a spill? Your dashboard? Do you just have your car detailed every now and then?
Discuss anything that comes to mind!

1. dust whole vehicle with baking soda
2. wait 24 hours
3. vacuum entire vehicle
treat stains with baking soda + water paste
keep armour all wipes in your car for incidental mess

Something I've done for years to keep used car smells away after cleaning is to place a Arm and Hammer fridge fresher box under the front seats, that baking soda with the opening that doesn't leak works soo well.
Also Turtlewax dash n glass, you can get the entire dash and instruments clean then use the same stuff on the windows and it doesn't streak and get oily.

Im 26 years old and currently working construction. Ive been a construction worker for 5 years but its starting to drag me down with getting up at 3am everyday and a 3 hour commute back home every afternoon.
Id like to test the waters and try to land an apprenticeship as a CNC worker.
Can anyone tell me how difficult of a job it would be to operate a CNC machine and learn everything there is about operating those machines?
Id be taking a severe paycut (29 to 12 dollars).
Would it be worth it?
Or should i suck it up and try to branch out more in the construction field?

been driving for a year and a half and this happened
So we were on a hill and the guy infront didn't put enough gas and his car began to roll back, I used my horn to warn him but he didn't stop and eventually the cars kissed.
He got out shaking his head and I got out thinking what the fuck is this madman doing. he took at look at his bumper and got back in his car and drove off, didn't say a word to me
I was checking my bumper and there doesn't seem to be any visible marks of damage, nor do I think there was on his.
What happens now? can he file a report without my details? what if he has my number plate because I didn't get his at it was my first time in such a scenario and I was lost.

Hey /o/. So I've been reading up on the realistic benefits of adding an hho device to a car. Has anyone applied one to their vehicle and if so have you noticed any improvements at all? Also how would an hho interact with a supercharger as well as a turbocharger? I want to learn all I can but I find the sites offering information to be biased and not very straightforward.
