Hey /o/,
I'm looking for a first car to buy, and I need some advice. I've gotten some suggestions to buy a Toyota or something similar, but I also want a nice classic muscle. Right now I'm looking at some El Caminos this is what I think I might buy; https://www.carsforsale.com/vehicle/details/30566977#
Do any of you have a better suggestion?

Something you won't die in when you inevitably get in a crash. Buy a cheap beater and save up for a classic later in life. We all went through the " I want a classic as my first car" phase. You will be glad you didn't.

Time stamp tag is wrong, ignore it.

>driving last night
>move forward to turn right, thought I had a green arrow
>whoops, still red
>red light camera flashes twice
>stop, reverse back
>wait for green
>go

I guess I'll be getting a ticket in the mail, how would I be able to contest it, with this video footage? I've looked into contesting fines before and you have to write what happened and send it via post, how do I do this?

No idea bout the legalities, but worth a shot.

Legally you crossed the line, but otherwise no danger was present.

I dont know if its the camera effect, but all the light are confusing in that intersection. That is considering only once have i ran a red light on accident and i was 16 years old.
>>
>>17700064
Did you ever make a complete stop before crossing the line? If not, you fucked up. Better hope they don't fine you even more for going reverse on an active motorway.

just lock the Gucci AR BCG companies and the auto companies in a room together.

they'll figure out a perfect finish for cars soon thereafter. Something that has high lubricity, easy to clean with a rag, and impervious to rust

You have to admit...

Besides its negative connotation here, it would be a fun car to own.

hello! i'm going to look at this '09 pontiac g5 in the morning and the seller just told me that the blinker stays up or down after turning so that you have to manually move it back into the middle position.

i'm taking it to a mechanic but does anyone know how expensive this repair is?

i've been googling and can't find much

would appreciate even a guess! thank you!

>>
needs a combination switch. there's usually a tab on the clock spring that is what triggers the indicator switch to revert back to its neutral position.

They're not overly expensive, might have to pull the steering wheel though. If you're not handy then you might have to pay a shop an hour or something like that.

Thanks a lot! I'm not very handy with cars but have a friend who is. Hopefully he can fix this for me.

Why do people from New York need to mention that they are New Yorkers every fucking time they talk to you. I have a coworker like that who starts every conversation "Well I'm a new Yorker and back home...." Every time. Nobody cares.

I hope you go around casually mentioning that you are a New Yorker in every conversation multiple times. I hope you volunteer that information ever few sentences and stop people in the street and tell them you are a New Yorker until everyone has had enough of your shit and you get raped by a wild pack of mutant Kansas corn people and shit kernels of corn uncontrollably from your deformed asshole for the rest of your life. It will be interesting to other people that you are a New Yorker.

So I'm looking to buy another motorcycle and I saw this post on Craigslist for a Yamaha R1 2008. The ad seems too good to be true. I sent her a text and she sent me an email back:

Hello,

My name is Jane doe, and I'm emailing you about 2008 Yamaha YZF R1 with an gasoline engine, manual transmission and only 33,750k miles. Never had or need any paint/body work done, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, tires and wheels are in great shape as well, electric is working perfectly. The Engine Size (cc): 1,000, runs very good and the manual transmission shifts perfectly. Has a clean and clear US title in my name and there are no liens or loans on it. This bike was used by my husband who died 4 month ago. The price was reduced at $1.500 because I'm in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell it before the 20 of the next month, when I will be leaving on military duty with my medical team out of the country for a year and do not want to store it. Hate to sell it but its not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for a year. If you interested i can send you more pics.

Thanks,
Jane Doe

Does this seem like a scam or something fake?

Ask for some more pics. Ask for pics of specific parts or areas. Like the VIN. Go check it out, bring someone with you as a second set of eyes and as a little backup.

The English is pretty good (solid sign) and if she actually does have a clean and clear title, you might have just lucked out.

Good luck mate, hopefully it's legit.
>>
It's a scam.

>>17698706
Looks like a scam.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

I have a 2006 Passat and the engine has died. I am curious as to what engines I can put into the car.

You can get he best of both worlds with Indy Car.

Easy-going crowd and drivers who don't take themselves too seriously.
everyone's having a good time looking at their favorite racers scream down their home track at 200+MPH high RPMs.
Doesn't cost a fuck-ton.
Crashes and swift overtakes can happen at any moment.
