I won't deny it; if I were Saudi Oil Baron rich I'd do something like this only more autistic,
>pay friends to be professional homeboys, their only job is to do stupid shit with me on occasion
>motorcade of Rodge-spec 3 Series with everyone dressed up as the Supreme Gentleman down the place he went on his crusade
I'd probably fund street races and shit across the globe too.
Hey, /o/ polystyrene block guy again. Pulled another motor on Friday with a hole blown through it. Wanted to share some pictures again, maybe get some more g/o/re to add to the collection.

Lurking gore collector. That's pretty fucked, any idea what caused it?
So I'm looking at hot hatch type cars and found a 2004 GTI for sale in good stock condition for $3800 with 121K. It's the 1.8T.
What does anon think of mark 4 GTIs? I should mention I'm an adult and plan on keeping it visibly stock at least, so no danger of #yolo #vapenation #dubber shit going on.
>>15343689
Bland as fuck and slow for the GTI badge.
Save a bit more and get a R32.
>>15343689
It will break. Everything will break, all the time, forever.
Sincerely, a former golf owner.
Why not an Audi TT? Same platform only that bitch has Quattro
I just want to got a Volvo c30. why does the turning radius suck and how can I fix it?
>>15343638
Transverse i5. Means the shock towers have to be pushed out more making a wider front track which kills the turning radius
>>15343657
so can't do anything?
>>15343638
Why do you even need to turn tighter
t. confused C30 owner
Why does Kobye Bryant have a 2011 jeep in his car collection even though he owns 400,000 plus super cars?
What a dick head.
>>15343468
Probably because he likes it?
He also has a 63 chevy impala and it's not even a lowrider... or an expensive car.
What's wrong with them?
We kept ours since 2008. Runs, only issues in it's super long abused life were suspension which needed overhaul after 150k, and rad did get fucked around that time too, other than that it runs and because it's a jeep it doesn't look old.
/o/ help me decide,
Audi A5, BMW 4 series, or Lexus RC?
This is gonna be a daily driver, just a cruisin' vehicle. I don't need to be able to win a street race, so don't worry so much about that.
>>15343437
Oh and pic related, it's what I'm leaning towards right now, if only because I prefer the way it looks.
>>15343445
lexus. i think the look amazing plus toyota reliability
Lexus. Dont get eurocucked
Hey /o/, my parents are thinking of buying me a newer car because they're afraid my shitbox will break down and kill me, and I'm too poor to buy another one myself if it does sudoku so I'm inclined to go along with them. The problem is, I'm quite fond of my shitbox (rt135 corona) and if I'm gonna give it up before its natural demise I'd like something not a soulless shitbox to replace it, but I want to pick something that my parents will be happy with buying as it's their money (they're quite fond of a late 2000s Yaris for example).
Budget is probably 5000-10000 USD (I'm in the US). My main concern is reliability, but I go to /o/ so I'm autistic and want something that will satisfy my autism when I'm driving it. My parents wouldn't really want to buy me anything pre 2005, maybe I could stretch it to 2000. They also only drive jap cars and don't trust anything American though I could probably push em.
I was thinking an IS300 but my parents see lexus and think it's a bit fancy so I'd feel like a bit of a dick if I push it too much. Crown Vic isn't jap unfortunately, again I could push it but I dunno. Maybe an EP3 civic? Basically just looking for any ideas of stuff that's not terribly boring but looks safe/cheap, and has good reliability for a poorfag. I'm really out of my element here because I usually only sperg out on 70s and 80s jap and german shit.
>>15343428
Just tell them Lexus is the same thing as Toyota. If it's an early 2000s model you're not exactly lying.
>>15343428
Lexus is justba Toyota with some fancy bits. Get them to drop the $10k into the corona, brake/suspension upgrade, 3sgte or something. Everyone wins.
>>15343428
A Yaris is perfectly fine. You'd be surprised at the aftermarket support available to them.
Anyone noticed how used cars are suddenly getting cheaper now on Craigslist? What happened to the used car market?
i have not, actually
>>15343012
Seems to be the opposite last time I checked in my area. Prices should naturally be rising due to inflation anyway.
>>15343012
People trust stealerships more now.
let's see them..

how fucking dumb do you have to be to try to get away in a completely and utterly WRECKED car?
I mean, he even fucking got out and saw the damage.
sure, revving the living shit out of that pile will help him.

You know what time it is?
Time to build a wall.
Hey /o/ usually I scroll /b but today I need some advice on what to do with my 1994 bmw 325i auto trans 2.5 liter 6 cylinder currently it has 250xxx miles on it and it's on limp mode.. What are my options? Do I need a new transmission? How much would that cost? Etc...
limp mode?
which limp mode
you mean your transmission light is on?
its likely the brake light sensor in your pedal, its been known to make cars turn on that light.
>>15342986
The light is on the dashboard and it doesn't fully shift gears... Starts like grinding
You never changed the ATF. Time for a transmission rebuild.
Check it, i picked up this '66 international 1100A, it runs and drives. Just brought it in for a frame off restoration, freshly rebuilt 400 sbc, th400, 355 ring and pinion, disc break conversion, power steering add, dual mater cylinder add. Interior has already been done. All in in in it for 15k. Good buy? How much could it be worth when is finished?
>>15342884
How much is the frame-off resto gonna cost? Those are usually not money makers for the car owner.
Got a pretty good deal, so I think. To cut out any rust and replace with new steel plus paint $4200
>disc break
>dual mater
just fucked up my car's dashboard display.
It's a simple flexible plastic plate, semi-transparent in some places completely opaque in others.
My objective was to make all the green parts white becuase green looked horrible, but I managed to fuck it up by dipping it in nail polish (although I did remove all the green).
How can I make another piece? Should I order laser cut vynil from somewhere? Can I make something similar?
I'm currently drawing a new dashboard in photoshop.
>>15342863
just throw that shit back in like that dude
it'll look pretty tough
Either get it printed on vinyl and put in high-brightness LED dash lights so it'll shine through, or buy a used dash cluster.
>>15342863
It's pretty obvious what's missing. Get some model paint and paint it back.
What's the worst case scenario if I replace a distributor and it's a tooth off to the front or the back?
>>15342734
Fiery death
>>15342734
Your car will run like shit, noticeably
The timing will be advanced or retarded.
I need help buying my first car. I'm looking at this 2004 BMW 325 Ci for $9990 cash, but I'll be financing any car I get. 53,000 miles, clean Carfax, no accidents. Any opinions/alternatives?
bmws are expensive to maintain and financing is a dumb idea
buy a $3k used corolla with a stick unless you have a real reason not to
>>15342705
>used luxury vehicle
Fuck no, parts and any work that you can't do yourself will be unholy expensive.
>>15342723
Why is financing a dumb idea?
This is literally the best feature on a car! Why not other cars feature this?
Thumbs up Ford!
