Are you ready /o/?

I can't wait.
According to the sources, it can do less than 2.8 sec 0-60 mph, and its top speed is 215+ mph.
Sounds a serious beast.
>>17714381
And it'll probably cost $20k more than it does now and it's already overpriced
is pic related a meme?
there's a musty smell whenever I turn on my AC vents. I changed the cabin air filter a month ago, so I doubt it's that (though I will swap it out again). Should I give this stuff a try or am I just being jewed?
Evaporator coils get dirty if you airbfilter leaks a tiny bit, or is clogged. Evap coil looks like a radiator. Yes they get dirty. That is a cleaner, yes it works, no its not a fucking meme and dont use that fucking word ever again
it worked great in my house, my god it needed it. disgusting dust. i imagine you can use a garden hose in a car system

I'm looking to get a 4Gen Liberty GT.
They're super cheap in Aus, turbo EJ20/25, understated and quick.
What's /o/'s thoughts on it, as I'm still undecided. If anyone's got any other suggestions let me know.
Don't want a Rexy as it's just a cop magnet and being in the nanny state of NSW I really can't be fucked getting pulled over every time I drive.
i dont see the problem? insurance?
what are you asking?
>>17712156
Subarus are shit with no redeeming features. Just get a v6 Accord.
>>17712156
They use a lot of fuel, even by Subaru standards. Apart from that they're supposed to be pretty good. If the police are that bad you might end up never using the performance of the car without getting into trouble, I don't really know because I'm not Australian.
This thing only costs about 3K where I live, second-hand, most are in good condition.
Why the fuck do people even buy normal econoshitboxes when they could have this for less?
>>17712153
because they want a comfortable/practical/easy to drive/recent car.
>>17712153
You can't fit groceries or your wife and her son in that
>>17712153
cause it's a fag/girls car.
>live pretty far away from the city
>city is connected to my town via a narrow mountainside road
>roads swaps between 35mph and 50mph zones because of some houses and farms near the road
>take the road very often
>catch up to another driver
>they drive 35 in the 50 zone
>when the 35 zone comes they drive above 50
>50 zone comes back and they're down to 35
>road to narrow and dangerous for me to pass
Nothing these days, I've 'found myself' I guess and am really relaxed no matter the situation.
Sometimes computer issues (PC) really grind my gears though.

No need you're already subscribed
Fucking rednecks. I can almost understand putting big mud tires on a General Lee charger, I mean, it's the south after all. But now look what they started doing to 911's. WTF?

Stay booty blasted
This is new but obvious bait
I rate 7/10 made me chuckle
Hello, I'm very new to cars and I've recently gained a very big interest in them, due to me just getting my license recently. Specifically, I'm into Japanese import cars from the early 80s to the early 90s. I'm having trouble finding the names good models of cars that are also affordable, mostly because google searches have provided me with articles and top 10 lists that don't help. Could someone help a newfag out?
180sx
300zx
Skyline
Civic
Integra
Miata
RX7
Just like get MR2
First gen if you're in it for asthetics
Second gen if you want to go fast in a straight line
Turd gen with chassis reinforecement if you want to handle
OP here, also forgot to add that I'm also looking for something that can be easily serviced.
Anyone on here worked on these services before? What are your thoughts?
>be me
>need to cover about $300 a week at odd hours
>already have motorcycle
Obviously they will try to sell you the most glossy image possible, and there are plenty of shills because of their referral program. But how would this gig stack up to, say, a job at a local pizza joint?
Its an infamously shit job; at least in Ireland there's been some controversy when they changed the contracts from a regular wage based system to payment per delivery system; most of the time you're doing nothing and might not get paid at all on any one day. I see groups of those guys just sitting around looking at their phones, its all they seem to do.

I've been doing UberEats for about 2 weeks. Thinking about trying out Postmates this week during the slow days just to have my options open. Let me know if you have any more specific questions.
I don't drive a motorcycle but I imagine you already have the cargo thing figured out. Not being able to carry two big bags of food with a couple of drinks will mean you might have to cancel an order after taking it which will make you look bad so watch out for that. Obviously the chance of you being in accident will increase if you're driving hours per day in traffic heavy/residential areas while minding your GPS. You'll be saving a lot on gas though so that's a major plus. That's basically my only expense. I wouldn't recommend this job if you're not in an area with lots of trendy eateries/malls and such. If you enjoy driving you'll like this job. I find it incredibly relaxing to barely have to deal with people and just basically cruise and listen to music for a few hours and start/stop/stay home whenever I feel like it. Just know that if you want to make more than minimum wage you will have to be out 5pm-9pm on the weekends since that is when your $/hr will be highest. Normal days I make about $15 average after gas but on weekends that can go as high as $25 once you learn to be efficient. I was considering a pizza job and decided to try this in the mean time to see if enjoyed delivery. That's the great thing about this job. You can go ahead and just try it. If you don't like it after your first delivery just go home and never do it again.
>>17711915
I have no idea on how this system here (I'm assuming deliveroo) but yeah Uber Eats is based on each delivery. I've never had to wait since I mostly just go out during dinner and lunch.
>>17712179
to add
>I should have said ***wait very long instead of never having to wait. I usually get a new order in under 10 minutes since I know where to go and how to best take advantage of whatever area I'm in
>you will technically be self employed so keeping receipts of your expenses will be a must so you don't get fucked come tax time
>when compared to a pizza job you will likely make less per hour due to tips but will have more freedom over when you work i suppose
SUNDAY!

Are there any 2011-2016 Ford Fiesta owners in America that have that awful DCT? Did you get the class action notice?
Also, are your shifting woes that bad? Will you keep your Fiesta? Have you found a fix, short-term or otherwise?
Discuss!
2011 fiesta, yeah got the notice. Ir does shift crappy again, at 110k miles. Around 40k it went to ford for repair, then at 50kit spent a month in fords shop getting transmission parts replaced. Honestly dont knkw what do to, I hope to get some phat dough from Ford. This is the waifus car and its made her hate Ford now, but she wouldnt mind a V6 Mustang, and I would be totally fine with a V6 mustang.
I had a 2011 and i get those damn notices every week. i dont have the car anymore.
>>17712008
>at 50k it spent a month in fords shop
They do this on purpose to discourage warranty claims.
Just bought my first car, pic related
Anyone else here buy a car recently?
>>17711085
I'd like to buy a miata soon. maybe next weekend.
>>17711085
ayy my first car was also a GS, pic related 2000 GS400. is yours a 300 or 400?
>>17711196
dope, I have a 300. It needs some electrical work for locks but it's nice af so far. Did the 2000 400 have the shift buttons?
I want a classic(looking) car with a v8 as my next project car. I'd like it to be easy to work on with a large engine bay and an engine that responds well to mods coming from plentiful aftermarket. What choices does one have besides the foxbody? Especially older if possible.
I'd love to have something like pic related but all the big name classic carry a hefty price tag just for the shell. I'm in socal if that helps.
>>17711034
Reminds me of my uncle's pinto. Thanks this is the kind of thing I wanted. Prices on CL seem pretty good.
I just got a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger. I like it a lot. You just have to search a bit, there are a lot of Darts with slant 6's. As well, it's different you don't see a whole ton of them.

Pre smog 2nd gen camaro
would you have strip mining that you can cover when you're done or a sea of oil that no one wants to compensate they spill it?
check mate ICE fag.
My ICE car works on ethanol.
>>17710938
would you rather have corn to eat or corn to make fuel?
>>17710937
>a sea of oil
where is it?
low mileage, old car?
or
high mileage, new car?
>>17710918
Was talking about this with someone today. It isn't that easy... realistically a well maintained old car with high mileage is better than a poorly maintained new car with low mileage. All comes down to the treatment.
Also, important to determine the car. A Miata with 120k miles and a Mustang GT with 120k miles are going to be completely different stories, even if both maintained the same.
>>17710918
DESU if a high millage newcar was properly maintined, much better than an old car time bomb.
Now if the new car was beat into the ground, you'll have to pay new car prices to get the thing repaired. At least with an old car, parts, (which may be hard to find) at least will be cheaper.
>>17710918
Low mileage old car. Less can go wrong than with a much more complicated modern car with lots of miles. If something does go wrong, it's simpler to work on, with cheaper parts.
