What is the buying process like when buying a used car from a private seller (craigslist)? What needs to be done to legally drive the car with no legal problem?

You give them money, they give you keys to car, title to the car, bill of sale and if required where you are, proof of smog. Make sure title does not have a lienholder listed and tags are up to date.
With all the above, you can drive away. You still need to insure the car, usually within a few days and register the car into your name with the dmv, again within a few days, how many depends on your state.

Will people hate me if I buy an r32?
So I just got my license att few weeks ago at 19.
My knowledge of cars is relatively basic - I've been lurking here for a while trying to learn though.
So I have the money to buy an r32 - they are basically THE car I'd want to drive.
Obviously I don't have the funds personally but my patents do.
Is it acceptable? Is this an ok thing to do?

I like the idea of a big screaming V8 engine. But what would be your opinions if the Corvette had a nice powerful V6 engine just like the Porsche 911?
