too early
Guys,
I am going to Vegas in a few days and I plan on renting a motorcycle so I can go out through the desert and shit.
The problem is that the rental agency doesn't have a huge variety. Here is what they got:
>HD ELECTRA GLIDE
>HD ROAD GLIDE
>HD STREET GLIDE
>INDIAN CHIEFTAN
>INDIAN ROADMASTER
>HD DYNA SWITCHBACK
>HD FATBOY
>HD HERITAGE SOFTAIL
>HD LOW RIDER
>HD ROAD KING
>HD SPORTSTER
>HD INDIAN SCOUT
OTHER SHIT
>GOLDWING
>TRIUMPH TIGER 800
>HONDA CTX 700/NC700X
>TRIUMPH EXPLORER
>TRIUMPH TROPHY SE
>KAWASAKI 1400 CONCOURSE
AND LAST:
>BMW R1200 GS WC
>BMW R1200 RT WC
>BMW F700 GS
>BMW F800 GS
>BMW F800 GT
>BMW K1300 GT
>BMW R NINE T
>BMW S1000 XR
>BMW K1600 GTL
>BMW K1600 GT
So, my only experience thus far with riding has been with a Ninja 250 and I am pretty confident. I am short so the bigger touring bikes scare me (25 inch seat height? dropped.)
any suggestions? would prefer something more sporty/naked. I like the harleys (fatboy and sportster) but I don't want to be scraping peg on a 10 degree lean angle
honda a shit

What is the worst car fanbase?
For me, it's tied between poobarufags and hondacucks
VW
lifted truckfags will always be the worst
especially if they drive a post 1st gen Ram
>>15427499
Tied between subaru, and 240.
Where i live Honda scene is getting better, since most are buying 240s or Lexus

Not even my car mate but putting a Chevy badge on a Holden is what every Aussie does.
>>15426468
>ultra yeah m8 love it or leave it bogans buy holdens because australia and have aussie flag tattoos and shit
>they put chevy bagdes on their cars
can anyone explain this logic?
Getting really tired of driving shit boxes and being from burger land I want to celebrate my freedom with a big ass truck. Thing is I still want to go fast and I've seen/heard of turbo diesels being able to kick some ass. Thing is I don't know shit about trucks.
What the best base to start with a truck to mod? I don't care if it's Ford/chevy/dodge. I checked out bankspower.com to get an idea but they have over 9000 kits for these trucks and it's hard to navigate.
My spending limit is 6,000. What make/model years should I go for? I'd like it to be manual too.
>>15424960
If you go to diesel truck forums most people will tell you bankspower sucks
you're not going to get dick for 6000. the 04.5-07 5.9L Cummins are good for making big power. a friend has one that makes 900+whp and probably in the neighborhood of 2000 ft-lbs with intake, exhaust, turbo, injectors, rockers and a built trans. those are the only modifications, truck and engine have over 200k on them.
>>15424970
I can tell from their webpage its not very well organized. It was just a place for me to look for models with available aftermarket.
>>15424979
I'm finding plenty on craigslist for 6,000 and under I just don't know which years and models are good to get. I don't need the newest and best models.
What about a 94-97 ford 7.3? Those I'm finding pretty cheap and doesn't seem to be a bad starting place.
Is the E30 the only car that /o/ unanimously loves
no

What's going to happen to his cars when he dies?

They could turn the garage into a museum, or auction them all off.

Probably depends what his will says.. Same as every one else
I buy them for three fiddy each.
Can i have a leukemic sitting on my hood and squirting ethanol in my blower without throwing a rod?
How much ethanol is too much?
Can i expect my coolant temperature to spike?
You don't have a blower
Putting more fuel in your blower does fucking nothing

I currently drive a 2004 V6, it was my first car that I've had since I was 15, but now that I'm entering college I'd like something more reliable.
I've had to do a few major repairs, and it served its time. I'm currently looking at a 2015 EcoBoost Premium with 20,000 miles on it from my local Ford dealership. It's got leather, its got paddle shifters, and its I love the new body style. I'd love to get a GT, but I feel like that's a few more years away (once I graduate college/maybe join the Air Force).
So, tell me your opinions on the 2015 EcoBoosts. I've seen that some bolt-ons can add good power, and its a nice car inside and out.
>>15425592
bump
I mean, if you like turbos and boost then the ecoboost isn't a bad car by any means. Speaking as someone who's done the whole turbocharged 4 cylinder in a boat-like car thing, though, I'd much rather just have the big, brutish V8.
Sure, some aftermarket modifications and a tune will bring the Ecoboost up to comparable power levels for a bit less money than the GT, but the actual power delivery IRL just isn't the same.
>>15425635
I'd go for a GT over it in a heartbeat, but insurance on Long Island is insane, and I can't afford a GT right now.
I'm not big on turbos either, like on Subies and whatever, but a Mustang is a Mustang, and I don't want to settle on a V6 because of the lack of a premium package (leather for the most part) unless I opted to a pre-2015 V6.
3rd "auto pilot" crash is now because the sensors and radars on the 100k car can't tell the difference between metal and wooden barricades
just a few weeks ago someone died because the car couldn't see a big ass semi
when will this meme end?

>>15425032
It's not the autopilot's fault, it's the fault of the people who think that it will drive the car for them. You still need to pay attention even with the autopilot on.
Idiots with more money than sense, trusting a first gen autopilot. That specifically warns you to keep paying attention and limit the types of roads you use it on.
How many times do you look back at your car once you park it?
Lets be honest, no less than 3.
Pic related.
One time, to make sure I've locked it.
>>15414742
Depends on where I park it.
At home once or twice.
Anywhere else three to five.
Twice, first time to make sure I'm within the lines
Anyone else seen people driving around Pokemon landmarks playing that fucking faggot game?
There's a landmark in the game by my work and all day today there were autismos and hipster douchebag millennials creeping up to the curb with their phones pointed at the building and causing traffic in the parking lots.
I hate this generation.
