Currently drive a 2004 Mustang, but my wheel fell of the other day while driving and a stud snapped. I'm several grand in repairs into this car so I'm likely going to sell. If I do I'd like suggestions.

Do not suggest asian made cars. No Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, etc. I get they're reliable, but they're ugly as fuck in my opinion.

So, what are the most reliable years/models for these categories?

Trucks:

Sedans (Chevrolet, Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc.):

Coupes:

Also how are two door Jeep JK's?

Budget is $20,000 or less, preferably less. Mileage doesn't matter so as long as the car will last me four years to get through college. After that I'm getting a new car.

Never ever buy used european cars unless you are willing to pay for the expensive repairs. Also jeeps have some of the worst reliability of all cars out there on market.

If u want reliability on used cars then ur best bet is really jap cars.

If not take a risk with a ford or chevy
>>
>Most Reliable Sedans
Lexus
Any year
>Coupes
Ferd, because Mustangs are simplistic as fuck and the 4.6 is reliable if nothing else
5.0 isn't bad though

What, you mean that it's a pretty decent, albeit a way too expensive, car?
>>
>>15467423
It's just not good for anything.
You want a fast car?
>battery lasts ~10 minutes at 200 km/h
You want a cheap car?
>82700€
You want to save the environment?
>the production of said batterys is damaging the environment worldwide, plus the electricity needed to run a tesla produces almost as much CO2 as a normal car

The only thing that's good about this car is it's appearance and you could argue that all the electrical gimmicks are neat.
But it is not the future, and it is not a good car.

This did happen to me a few months back and after I did add coolant, everything was fine until this time nothing has gotten better, is there a way i could fix this on my own?
I would appreciate any input from you guys

I know nothing about auto insurance. I've had state farm for 10+ years, since I was in HS. But they're kind of dicking me on a claim, I'm still hoping my agent changes their mind but if I get screwed I'll obviously have to switch. But i have no idea how buying insurance works, so some questions:

My policy is to renew August 1. How long did it take to get a new policy, can i switch companies before August 1? If not, how easy is it too cancel my renewed state farm policy for whatever my new company would be?

Outside of Allstate, Progressive, Nationwide and Geico, there's a lot of little insurance companies. Are they legit? Will they fuck me over on a claim? I don't mind paying a little extra of I have piece of mind that i won't get fucked over. Ironically that's one reason I stayed with SF, other places were a little cheaper but I felt like SF was less likely to rip me off. Now well have to see.

Anything else I should know? Are quotes negotiable or is it take it or leave it?

Progressive is great UNLESS you added or have anything that's not stock. They have a $500 limit on non-stock. Their trailer policies are shit too.

Prices vary with state.

Also don't let them screw you. Any adjuster will fuck you hard when you're young/stupid if they can, there is a lot you can do if you didn't sign anything yet.
>>
I just got triple A renewed on a beater car and my 240z, it's like 1000 year for both + 80 for membership that has 100 mile tow.

SF was double that.

So it looks like FCA could have been paying off dealerships to falsify sales numbers.

>The Justice Department is reportedly looking under the hood at Fiat Chrysler, investigating the automaker for possible violations of securities laws
>in a filed complaint, the owners of an Illinois Chrysler dealership claim that FCA inflates its sales figures by allegedly paying some dealers to report bogus sales figures in exchange for cash
>the plaintiff in that case points to one competitor, which allegedly received “tens of thousands of dollars” for agreeing to falsely report selling 85 FCA vehicles

What steps do you take and what do you throw at it?
>cyl 3 intermittent misfire
> oil in plug wells
> cleaned throttle body
> new spark plugs
Worked for about a mile with clean acceleration then kaput
>coil pack
Nothing
>valve cover gaskets + spark plug seals
Problem solved, car accelerates clean as fuck until about 100 miles in, boom cel, now worse than before to the point it's dangerous to drive in any amount of moderate traffic
I know I did each of these jobs 100% correct and was super careful with the valve cover gaskets.
What an I missing?
