This probably isn't the best place to ask this, but I've already been on forums and the only answer I got was "lol I dunno did u check the fuel pressure?"
My car:
95 z28 with LT1 & 6-speed manual
My problem:
The car starts and idles fine, and will rev just fine if I steadily press the throttle, but if I quickly press it, it acts as if I shut off the ignition until I let off the gas and it catches itself and resumes idling.
Fuel pressure is fine, TPS seems fine, MAF seems fine, MAP seems fine.
The only thing I can find wrong is while datalogging, when I quickly hit the peddle, spark advance advances as it should to around 40° but quickly drops in a fraction of a second to 10°. I'm stumped as to why it's doing this.

I'm moving to western MA this fall. Right now I drive a 2013 Elantra GT...which cannot drive in snow for shit. I'd like to scale back to something simpler, looking mostly at trucks but I'm open to options.
I figure I can budget a 20k price range. Are Subarus really good or worth it? What I'm mostly looking at now are just basic plain Jane trucks with a manual transition, 2 doors, 4wd. Etc. I like the highlanders, but they might be a little wussy.

i am NOT a fan of the rear suspension design.
imo the seats are really nice. better than c5 seats.

Recently acquired a cheap old Nissan drift car as my first car
the problem is that it's straight piped, which isn't legal in my state
the car came with the OEM cat
so my choice now are either to pay a local mechanic 120$ to switch it out for me
or DIY it and maybe kill myself
because the pinch welds are messed up (make sense as it's a track car)
and also the subframe connectors over the pipe
so what would /o/ do in this situation?
