ITT: Edgy cars.
Anyone experience $400 / month for new primary driver under 25years old in the main city for a Honda Civic?
Apparently the Honda Civic is increasing my insurance by $100 per month because of all the fucking nignogs and wignogs in my city who race their little rice-mobiles.
>mfw 35$/mo under 25 driving a civic

>mfw $0/mo by not being a little pussy
My license is expired so it's not like they can take tjat. Been driving 10+ years like this

>yfw having to pay for an accident out of pocket because no actual coverage
Cuck
Hey guys, whats your opinion on my honda! Willing to take criticism, opinons or questions.
>>15620260

>>15620266
Thanks man, its a mix of street/track, not really into the stance shit
Don't get too attached to it, I'm sure it will be stolen by Mexicans soon.
Recommend me some cars with pop-ups under 2k eur and tell me some pros and cons of them.
Also general wink thread.
Can we get a car ad thread going? Top-tier shit only.

Fucking Audi

I may not agree with everything VAG does (and this is coming from a fanboy) but Audi makes some beautiful commercials.

She does.

when those models take off the fake big iris contacts the normal iris sizes make them look like they're insane because you got so used to see them with those big irises.
Fisker's BACK
Karma Revero looks almost identical to the Fisker Karma. The Revero is fitted with a new infotainment system, fast-charging capability, and a solar panel capable of charging the battery. 50 miles of range on a single charge VS the Karma’s 33 miles of all-electric range.

“We think we’re in Tesla’s court. If it was just about style, we would only go head to head with Aston Martin and Maserati. But these buyers are also interested in the technology.”
So its like a volt with decent styling?
I still don't know a bunch about electric cars, but isn't 50 miles, I dunno, abysmal?

YUP.
need something with awd, reliable and preferably with decent mpg although that isnt as important as the first two. is pic related any good?

Fuck I hate driving my parents 2014 impreza. it's way to loud on the highway, all I can hear is wind noise.
>>15620096
It checks OP's boxes though *shrug*
You might look for used Outbacks 2005-2011 or so. They have always been more refined than the Impreza.
Also like.. what's your budget?

i dont really want to go over 15k$ since im gonna beat the shit of the car
Doug Demuro is just Robbie Rotten in disguise, trying to blend into the real world
>prove me wrong
i don't know who robbie rotten is
I can't watch his videos on Youtube.. They come off as a bit cringy.
is it generally a bad idea in this day and age to buy a DeLorean?
looking for an 81 model.
i dunno man i got 30k to spare on a car and its just really cool to look at and ive always wanted one since i saw one as a kid in universal studious (only time i ever saw one in my life btw)
theyre completely shit
theyve been a bad idea since day 1
It was a bad idea to own one when they were new. If you have disposable income then there is no reason why you shouldn't. If have the space to store it and the money to fix it. It snot cheap and there is only one person in the entire world that has parts for it, be lives in Australia, because he bought them all when they went bankrupt.
>>15619750
I thought they where like 3 companies who sell parts in the us.
yeah im aware that it doesnt perform as well but ive always wanted one desu
im just unsure if its THAT shit.
Hey /o/, it's been a while but I'm looking for advice. I recently purchased a 2017 WRX as my DD and I want to bring back my hobby of dirtbiking again. I used to ride with my grandpa but now he's getting old and I am going to have to find a way to transport 2-3 dirtbikes (1 for me, my friend's drz, and maybe a third in the future?) myself.
I'm thinking of the three following options:
1) I install a Torklift hitch that goes behind the bumper of my WRX. The manual says that my warranty will not cover any towing damages, but I'm thinking this hidden hitch + the light weight of a utility trailer + 2-3 bikes wouldn't matter at all to the car (It's of course NOT the CVT). The hidden hitch wouldn't be noticed by the dealer? Total cost: $600 trailer, $350 for hitch + wiring.
http://torkliftcentral.com/2015-2016-subaru-wrx-wrx-sti-ecohitch-invisi
2) I buy a light pickup. I'm thinking a 1998+ Ranger long bed, 4 cylinder, manual transmission (I've heard the autos are not as robust as the Mazda 5 speed that went into these). ~$3k plus insurance etc. A big pro to me here is that I have a pickup I can use for anything else.
3) Another option? Are s10s shit? Maybe I go for an old full-size pickup?
What does /o/ recommend? I don't care about my pickup being 4WD because I own a WRX for shit winter driving
Also, would a Ranger even fit 3 motorcycles? Any experience with this?
>>15619718
If you have the space I'd get a cheap ranger, you'd still need a trailer but you might be able to get three bikes into the back. Never tried it.
If you have any transmission issues in the future and you have a tow hook, I doubt Subaru will cover your warranty claim.
>>15619828
I do have the space, fortunately. The ranger would be outside, but I frankly don't care.
Why would I need a trailer with the Ranger?
Also alternatives if you don't like it? 4-6k is what I'm aiming for.
>>15619579
*4-6k leaf dollars that is
>>15619579
Get the sedan

wasn't available in Canada. Canada got the Civic Si coupe, or the Acura CSX Type S
why do so many people care so much about a transmission?
there is so much passion either way here.
i dont care if it is a stick, or DSG or whatever.
there are more important things, like steering feel-give me manual steering! throttle response, a lot of cars do not do this very well. overboosted brakes suck, and i think that there just are so many other things on a car to worry about than the transmission.
i have 2 cars with a stick and one thats auto.
i pretty much can have fun in any of them. i DO have more fun in the manual steering cars.
feedback is better than having a clutch in my opinion.
Bunch o' lil' kids wanting to show how cool and different they can be driving manual.
Alternatively bunch o' lil' kids wanting to show how cool and different they can be because they afford a car with automatic transmission. (t. europoor)
>passion
>automatic
lol
unless you mean paddles then no
>>15619613
it doesn't matter son.
like i said, proper feedback does.
the transmissions job is so small compared to the steering.
How do I spiderproof my car /o/?
I keep finding the interior covered in webs.
Don't park under trees
>>15619551
I don't. The car is also kept covered.
>>15619591
Don't cover it. That's why you have this issue. Covers also attract mice to.
Why is this a fucking thing?
I was on vacation and I rented this because it was the cheapest, worst mistake of my life.
Whenever I would try to turn the volume up or down I would accidentally shift into reverse or sport, I almost killed myself
The ride was shit, the steering is shit.
Wtf Chrysler?

Fuckin dial shifters
If its any consolation I believe its been discontinued next year.
I had one of these things for a month after Ford was trying to fix their fuck up with some warranty work.
Comfy as fuck, put 3k miles on it. I just thought the tranny was going to fail everytime I went into drive
