Kinda newfag here, is there a list of all the /o/ generals?
>>15764101
>>>/o/brg/
Benchracing general
>>>/o/cvgg/
Corvette vs. GTR general
>>>/o/mjetg/
Diesel Fiat general
>>>/o/ebg/
EcoBoost general
>>>/o/v6g/
That one faggot who calls it "lemans" general
>>15764101
They are almost all cancer and should not be posted in. I get the idea, you pretty much have to make a general to avoid shitposting because this board has no fucking moderation, but generals always evolve into shit. An image board is about the flow of conversation, and a general destroys that.
Why does every black drug dealer drive a Challenger RT?
>>15763740
Because they lack imagination and good judgement so they go straight for flashy baller pimpmobile even though they officially on welfare.
Just typical nigger things man, why is this still up for debate? They dum
>>15763740
Except its never an R/T its always a V6 with R/T badges. They always put ugly ass wheels on them too, its like fuck man what is wrong with stock?
>>15764098
Chrome anything is always ugly.
I have a 1992 Chevy K1500. Bought it from a guy that put $1500 or so into a flowmaster exhaust system, but I don't really like the sound, so I ordered a cherry bomb glasspack and plan to cut the old muffler off and clamp the new one on. However there's people advising me against doing this because I could make my truck run too lean. Is that an actual risk I take just changing my muffler? I know about getting a tight seal and all that but not about this.
>>15763640
No. Whoever told you that is literally retarded.
Shit, just run straight pipes after the cat. Sounds loud and mean.
Who ever said it'll mess with your motor is retarded.

>>15763661
I'm no genius when it comes to this shit but isn't there some stuff to do with flow, backpressure, loss of performance, etc
>just get my mazdaspeed3, had it for a week
>hanging with the bros listening to synthwave
>take an onramp to head home, was across town
>downshift into fourth, turbo in full blast
>shift to fifth in sixth, then realize my mistake
>stuck at 6k rpm throughout it all, when my redline is 68k
>release the clutch i accidently had quarter way in
>the smell of satan's asshole hits before i could warn the bros
>screaming erupts from the back, the burnt clutch is so bad we can barely breathe
>bronut in the back is about to fucking puke out the back window if i didn't have them all locked
>ride home with both the inside and outside smelling like fourty skunks sprayed and shit on it
>mfw i get home and it's still as bad as when it happened
>mfw the smell is still there despite airing out overnight
>mfw black ice wont save me this time
Anyone else have some burnt clutch stories?
Nah, I know how to drive m8
Kek, the fuck man
>>15763341
I heated my clutch a bit yesterday backing uphill on a dirt road. Didn't want to burn out and throw dirt everywhere.
Kinda smelled but no big deal
What exactly makes a braking system good?
The way I look at is it doesn't matter what combination of rotors/brake pads/meme lines you decide to use since there is a finite amount of pressure you can actually apply without locking the wheels. The only real difference is quality equipment will let you hit this point a lot sooner.
good systems have good feel, so you can know how much pressure to apply in a linear way.
i have driven cars where it was not linear. makes it much harder. drum brakes are also not linear, because they are self actuating a little.
good brakes are predictable, reliable in that they don't fade or wear quickly, and hopefully not heavy because unsprung weight has a huge affect on performance
Smooth, consistent and effective performance.
>>15763240
>What exactly makes a braking system good?
Resistance to heat, contact area, ability to apply force, more or less in that order.
8 piston calipers and 2" bore master cylinders are great and all, but if you rotors are 1/32" thick, it won't help you much.
Scenario: WAT racing has sponsored a team to go to LeMans. You are a driver. Your fellow drivers are Takumi Fujiwara and Dominic Toretto. The mechanics and technicians of /o/ are your pitcrew. You must choose the car you will be driving.
Your choices are in pic related.

Some stripped down abomination of a car with no driver assists and six gorillion horse power
>>15763156
Dagumi would be completely out of his element in the Twingo.
The automatic on the Crown Vic probably can't deal with the heat generated.
Therefore, Miata. Also, the NB Turbo is one of the best Miatas that ever came from the factory.

The Miata
How is this even a question?
Which of the following should I get
>2016 WRX
>2016 Mustang V6
>2016 Camaro V6
>2016 GTI
>2016 Focus ST
I'm leaning towards Mustang. I want an affordable but quick (5 second range and under) daily driver.
>>15762994
2015 mustang gt
>>15762994
mustang gt or gtfo.

whats a good way to secure a car?
due to the simple nature of my car im not sure what i can do besides carry a spark wire with me.
anything electrical is easily bypassed, so a kill switch is kinda out of the question
an actual car or that dune buggy type deal you posted?
>>15762912
is the car pic related?
if so is this the same thread we had around 5 years ago when i told you to wire the fucker up to the mains, the tyres insulate it so anyone touching the car gets 240v and enough ampage to kill the cunts?
>>15762912
One of those steering wheel bar things? Maybe a gps device that shuts it down if someone tries driving it without an rfid key
>graduation day
>parents say they'll give me a car
>get this

My dad's tool box is out of commission, it got fucked up in the move. Box is probably older than me, got it when he passed.

>>15762679

Luckily no damage to the cooler or anything. Only the plastic lip and the cooler cover
>>15761948
Did you rebuild the motor after?
What engine is this.
It belogs to a 68 cadillac but i need to figure out which one. The car had an engine swap and the owner knows nothing on the car.
>>15761871
Who cares its a shitty outdated American trash.

What is the best racing series and why is it BTCC?
>>15761696
Because Daewoos dominate.
Because it's hilarious when BMW gets btfo on the corners against a Civic.
BTCC hasn't been good for about 10 years now
