You know if you want a non-shitpost thread you shouldn't start it off like that. Some autist is going to fill this with FR or FA cars.

Muffler options for an M20 E34?
Previous owner did a muffler delete and although it sounds great, it's too loud and the droning in the cabin gives me headaches on long drives.
There's a complete exhaust from an M54 E46 spitting distance up the road but I'm sure I can track down my stock equivalent if I tried.
Is it even worth getting a nice aftermarket can for an engine not worth showing off at all?
My first Bmw. E46. 108k mileage. I LOVE the way it drives. I don't think I'll ever go back to American.
Who here has any experience in flipping cars off craigslist? What's to keep me from buying something for $1k and selling it for $2k the same day?
Supply and demand mostly.

This. Chances are OP is stupid enough to buy a lemon pretty quick
>>15826160
Even if you don't there are laws in most states about how many used cars you're allowed to sell in a year without a dealers license.

Right now we have visiting 2 engineers from Mercedes Germany, 1 from Nissan Japan, one from Nissan North America.

>infiniti car, Mercedes engine
>literally 4 engineers standing in the middle of the shop blaming the other company that it's a fault with their equipment
Fucking keks for days.

What is the issue that required engineers to look at it?

The world is flat guys.
Fuck it must suck to work at a dealership.
is the 962 still competitive in any race series?
Spec Miata
>>15825916
no
Not for 22 years. Unless you count the WCS-95 and LMP1-98 as a 962s, which they arguably are. In that case it's only 18 years since competitiveness.
Nobody in the fishing genera on /out/l seems to care about boats. Does /o/ know about boats? I'm looking to buy a boat. I go catfishing in the James River a lot, and sometimes Potomac. What brands should I avoid? What type of boat should I get for overnighters? Budget is <=$25K.
Pic related is my dream boat but costs $40K. Lots of flat space to walk around and cast nets, lots of diy customizing to do to it, etc. I don't want a center console because there's hardly any space to get around on them. Pontoons are perfect for catfishing but they are so slow. It would take 15 minutes just to cross the river, yet alone travel up and down to find spots.

Get a burntout house boat and park a camper on it.
>>15826058
Wouldn't figure this board was underage, but you proved me wrong.
>>15826253
I'm not I just don't care about boats. My answer meets all your criteria.

Where do you drive /o/?
Is it pointless to drive a nice car, if you always have to worry about getting speeding tickets?

I mostly drive to work and back. Into work is a bunch of high-speed twisties followed by a couple of sprints, and timing traffic lights.
Back is heavy traffic, occasional gridlock, with the option of the long way home along windy pretty country roads.
I take road trips occasionally to get the wanderlust out of my system. I get the occasional urge to just keep driving, but that mostly deals with it.

Hey /o/ what's a good used full-size truck to look at getting? I want to trade my Suburban K2500 for a pickup. Obvious choice for my situation is a Chevy K2500 pickup but I know pretty much nothing about Ford and Dodge comparable trucks.
>Here's my Craigslist posting for more info:
http://corvallis.craigslist.org/cto/5782602220.html
I guess I should be more specific.
How do Dodge and Ford trucks compare to a Chevy K2500 truck? Which engines are good, and which are shit?
I love my Suburban with the 454 big block, I wish I could just flip a switch and turn it into a pickup.
>>15824869
Ram with cummins
>>15824956
Do you think I could trade my Suburban for a Ram with a Cummins? The 'Burb is in great shape.
On second thought, I think most people who are looking to trade their truck probably want to trade into something more economical. Do you think it'd be better to just sell the Suburban and buy a pickup with that money?
How much do you think I could get from my Suburban if I were to sell it?
So my '99 subaru impreza outback is nearing it's end with almost 400k miles, and I'm looking for a replacement for under $20k that will have a similar lifespan.
I originally was looking at getting another impreza, but then the new civic caught my eye. Aside from awd, is there any reason to pick the impreza over the civic? Are there any other long lasting cars for that price range?
>>15824826
get an 01-05 civic for 3k.
>>15824835
With a previous owner, what are the chances of it lasting as long as my subaru?
>>15824837
any car will last as long as you're willing to put money into it.
