Why don't American car companies make a sports car?
"""Hot""" Hatches and Muscle/Pony cars don't count. It must be
>light (sub-3100 lbs)
>RWD
>2dr coupe
because we arent poor
>>15858767
Here you go OP. Although the hardtops go for absurd prices. It's too bad since they looks so nice
>>15858767
No demand. I guess were fine with 4000lb 600hp sports cars. Does Europe even offer anything that matches that criteria?

Just because they compete doesn't mean they are

Volvo already tried this and it didn't work out very well for them.

Anyone know anything about bed liners? I know very little but I need a spay on bed liner that I can still slide things on. I use my truck to haul wood and some of the wood is pretty big and needs to slide out. Do these smooth bed liners work like that, or will they still have a rubber grip.
>>15855729
If you have an aluminum ford truck, you better get the best bed liner, because that weak piece of shit can't even handle a toolbox falling in the bed.
>>15855742
>This just in, aluminum is softer than steel. In other news, the sky is blue
What did you expect you fucking mongoloid. Ford is appealing to the market for people who want a big truck but use it as an suv; which is the majority of truck sales these days. I bet you shitpost about mall crawler too, you cretin.
>>15855742
>le ford meme.
Thats nice. But no. Its one model out of the 100 years by one brand thats been out for one year since trucks were invented. Thats like me assuming you have microphallus because your underwear is feeling loose.
BLOWERS BLOWERS BLOWERS!
Kenne Bell, Whipple, Vortech, ProCharger, which one do you have and who makes the best forced induction monster for the money?
I like the kenne bell, but i hear putting together a vortech/paxton on a 4.6 sohc is just easy hp/tq, might as well do it one day
>>15853602
As a 3v owner, I was originally planning on going with a Vortech/Paxton or a ProCharger, but I hear the response isn't as immediate as a roots style blower.

Got halfway though, realized the stoplights represent the pedestrian crossings and lost hope because the people gathering data are too fucking stupid to set up the test properly. Also the first one is literally a gender preference unless you think about keeping the car in the proper lane instead of risking oncoming traffic.
fuck fat people
>turn key to start car
>trunk lid opens
>have to take out key to open boot
>Turn key to start car
>Amp gives sub like 5 bursts of poweron inrush slaps
Brain literally rolled 0 for perception and had a panic.
>turn key to start car
>car starts like it should.
What you have to say about the GT350(R)?
It will win Motortrend Best Driver's Car this year, Randy is absolutely in love with it

more garbage from Ford as usual.
A performance GT done right for the first time by the Americans since I've been alive. I believe Ford surprised everyone with how it turned out and the level of engineering and passion they put into it. The SVT Cobra 03-04 was almost as influential, but when the S197 came out with a live axle and still on a shoestring budget, whatever momentum they had created with it got iced. Even with its hefty weight, this car is a serious track machine. And it does so without being a stripped model costing over 70k (sup Camaro Z/28). I would say this is probably one of the greatest performance cars built on US soil since the 2002-2004 Corvette Z06.

People tend to drive poorly when they're on coke. I've been rear ended in Glendale five (5) times since 2014. Always Armos in a white BMW or Mercedes.

Answer my question and I'll solve the pic related.
So at the end of the lease, I was planning on letting her have that 2015 BMW X3 for $15 000. That's in around a year.
However, the repairs for modern BMWs are fucking retarded, there's no resale value after 2 years, and all the electronics are bound to fail one day or a-fucking-nother. The electronical compartments are absolutely BRUTAL and everything is attached to some sort of sensor.
Help me pick a luxury vehicle that she will still have the trunk space in for her flowers and whatever. I don't care if I have to put down an extra $5000 for her - I'm not letting her buy this contraption and deal with the $10 000 in repairs every year to keep this moving.
I'm looking at those Audi Hatchbacks but she's pretty dead set on BMWs as we have owned 5 of them and actually know the dealing guy.
My last question is: what year did BMW go to shit in terms of their overengineering? I'm looking at the dealership's hatchback 3-series in manual - is that something I can readily fix and work on in my front yard if it is from 2011? Or should I look for something from 2008 and below?
She likes the heated seats.
Fuck it. I might just meme it and get her a Phaeton.

>>15854584
I've done it once in the past 6 months.
>driving down road
>2 lanes, third lane opens up for left turns at intersection
>approaching intersection at about 35 mph (speed limit is 35)
>hamplanet in SUV rolls out into the middle of the road from parking lot, takes up both lanes but leaves turn lane open
>was about 50-60 feet away when she started rolling slowly out
>another car turns onto the road so she can't get through
>was making a left anyway so squeeze into left lane
>she lays on her horn
>look over, let off gas, extend right hand and middle finger at same time, making her miss another opportunity by engine braking
>now other cars that aren't turning left are honking at her as I pass because she's in the way
>light at intersection is green so she's not getting across anytime soon and has to back up into the parking lot
Playing chicken with women in SUV's in a 90's ecobox is probably going to get me killed.

What is the worst automobile ever made?
>>15846249
Literally everything wrong with automobiles today can be blamed on California.
>Fucking nanny state commifornia passes law saying doors have to automatically lock themselves when the car starts moving because californians are retarded.
>Car manufacturers arent going to make a separate car for California so the car that is sold everywhere in the US gets auto locking car doors.
>rinse and repeat for always on headlights, windows that dont roll down all the way, etc.
>>15846250
yes anon, auto-locking doors are what's wrong with modern cars.
>>15846249
Depends how you define "worst"
The Briggs & Stratton Flyer is literally a pair of seats nailed to a sheet of plywood with a single cylinder driving one wheel
