Mitsubishi is currently on plans to make a luxury SUV and possibly a new Luxury brand.

This is the SUV concept(called the "GT PHEV") they came up with and they said they will be taking the design cues from this onto their next luxury SUV.

It is said to use an all new plug-in hybrid engine.

How do you like this plan of Mitsubishi?

So I was thinking earlier about doing a hybrid conversion to my 4WD, as a bit of a project.

Then I thought to myself, why not disconnect the engine from the drivetrain entirely, and have it run only to charge the batteries, allowing me to run just electric engines to the wheels.

This made me think of the old Porsche hybrid electric tanks, and now I'm wondering if it's possible to add tracks to a car without totally ruining the bodywork?

Connect the engine to a pump that pressurizes a hydraulic system. Put a variable geometry impeller in each wheel hub, that can control how much power goes to each wheel individually, and can perform regenerative braking by repressurizing the system on overrun. Would the hydraulic system be more efficient than an electric setup, though?

And the reason I was looking into hybrid electric in the first place was so that I could add more power to the car, since the 4D56T isn't really an engine with a lot of grunt - it doesn't sound like a hydraulic system could add any more power.

Never had that problem. Besides, 245 isn't that fast.
But then, I'm on the Autobahn so much, it's easy to predict who pulls out and who doesn't.
I'm regularly in the speed limiter for long stretches.

but a good deal is a good deal if the engine donesn't have any real mechanical faults.
many people take their cars to stupid mechanics who just want to slap them with a pricey repair bill. so there is a viable chance the engine is not damaged. but you really have to be the judge of this. ask the stupid nigger what the engine sounds like or why he thinks its broken

Total fail. No power and useless engine when it comes to making any good power while maintaining driveabilty and longevity. Even with pi heads and a lot of engine work, it is nearly impossible to get them past 450hp

Is it cringe to attach a plate from another country to the front of your bumper?

I.e. I live in a state that requires only a rear bumper. My family is all German and I go to Germany once a year. It's probably my favorite country so I want to add a German plate that I got from a junkyard there to the front of my Subaru WRX just for fun.

I see a bunch of people with Japanese front plates on but it's usually on Japanese cars.

Is it cringe to do this? Is it alright for German made cars but not Japanese? I really don't want to look like a fuckboy.

What youtube channels do you guys like?

I'm a total noob to cars. Don't know a goddamn thing. I'm not quite as idiot to not know what's wrong with the alternator-as-a-turbo tattoo, but I'm not great at all. I like doing stuff and having something car related playing, like Jay Leno's garage or Top Gear episodes...

Anyone have recommendations? Trying to watch Engine Masters is cool but I don't really know whaty they're on about half the time.

The ZZW30 is lighter than the AE86 stock and it's 1ZZ engine cranks out about the same horses as a blacktop 4age, give or take a few digits, newer than an aging '86. Another problem is the contents of it precats had a tendency to crumble and get sucked back into the engine if not removed and it's 1ZZ burned oil but a 2ZZ is a direct drop in.

The 86 is 30 years old and shit will break down down the line but it's easy to work on but it's the rust that will lead to its ultimate doom, I could get a welder and patch up some rust though.

I put in alot of time and money into this car and I might regret it if I sell it.

Street cred, memes and all that bullshit aside, convince me why I shouldn't trade an 86 for an MRS?

Hey guys i'm looking for a car thats going to be comfty; basically i want a refined ride for the highway since thats what i drive. i've been looking at the ls400 but i feel like its a bit dated, i've been looking at bmw 525/528 around 2007 or so. what car will give me the maximum comftyiness? i've been leaning towards a bmw, but im open to Mercedes and other brands.
