this is just plain wrong
It's 1988, and you're a hotshot Wall Street executive. Your boss just gave you a call, saying that you'll be spending a year doing business in Japan. As compensation for being relocated, he said that you'd be able to get any company car you want. Provided it's available in Japan and costs less than ¥1 Million.
What do you get?
>>15979722
Toyota Crown Royal '86
87-88 Nissan Gloria brougham
>>15979722
an X70 Toyota Mark II is too expensive. maybe get an early honda beat?
What cars have secret/hard-to-find compartments?
>>15978532
if you knew then it wouldn't be a secret would it? :^)
Any car with a "trap compartment" intsalled post-sale.
The best stock one I've seen: my mom had a B6 S4 and there was a small back compartment that would pull out from under the front seats.
>>15978532
to hide weed
Why do people forget how to drive around police cars?
Most people on the road are extremely poor.
Interactions with LEOs cost a shit ton of money and the percentage of money rises with how poor you are. So poorfags would rather drive 3mph under the speed limit when the LEO is nearby than risk ruining their already ruined life.
Because people think too much when under pressure
>>15977296
nigga spell icup
Nav screens, bluetooth, voice commands, backup cameras, etc. All the shit just seems useless and I personally wouldn't want to pay for it.
I can understand wanting remote start if it's cold, but even then, an idling car doesn't really heat up all that much.
The only thing I care about is having an aux cable, auto windows and a leather wrapped steering wheel. I don't even care much for leather seats.
What about you guys?
Backup cameras will no longer be options, but standard.
>>15976274
>whatever I deem useless should also be concidered useless by everyone
kys my man
>>15976274
Because not everyone is a 18yo poorfag happy enough to make do with "good enough"
The next generation BMW 3 series will be built in Mexico.
The plant is solely meant to produce rear wheel drive models and expected to eventually manufacture the 2 series and 5 series.
How does this make you feel /o/?

quality can't be worse than made in us anyway
Why do people in the auto enthusiast community talk about horsepower when torque is the thing that actually matters. Is it because i'm an engineer and actually understand physics?
>>15975757
Low quality bait.
As a physicist, I'm telling you to shut the fuck up and keep on studying until you see why you are wrong.
>>15975757
you can have all the torque you could ever want but unless it's spinning and making horsepower, it does nothing
>>15975784
Hypothetically, couldn't a very slow, high torque force be put through gears and made normal speed and force?
What's the consensus here on the s2000?
Miata on steroids.
>>15973870
Good car, buy one while you can still get a clean example at a reasonable price.
what the brz should have been
>mfw people buy NB Miatas over an NA
>mfw there is literally no aftermarket for NBs compared to the NA's
>mfw higher cost of maintaining the vehicle
There is literally no reason to drive an NB over an NA miata if you do youre a retard
>buying a car without ecoboost
>>15970736
>implying Mazda didn't invent ecoboost with the Mazda Speed 6
>>15970740
>implying
They never put turbos on the 3.5.
well chevy basically admitted to the overheating issue and their 2018 mule has a significantly larger front grill and side vents.
undoubtedly for dedicated oil and trans cooling
4:25 for the pic
we will probably see a bump in power to 700 or 750Hp as well to compete with the Ford GT and Hellcat
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPiNMFKIsz8
>compete with the Ford GT
Do gm fangirls actually believe this?
>>15966629
Shhhhhh
When they get btfo by a v6 it will be all the more delicious
Let them stay delusional
>>15966578
>compete with the Ford GT
The Godmachine has no competition, let alone from gm.
>engine braking to save "wear" on your brakes
>wearing out the engine instead
Honestly can't see why people would do this, you don't even save any gas.
Fuck
I do this all the time, you just can't stop once you're doing it for years. I understand the more wear and tear part but is it that bad for the engine/drive train
how is it bad for it when there is no combustion happening? id say the engine is taking a break.
also have you ever shut off the ignition and gave it wide open throttle down hill? you slow down more
>bought an 04 corolla manual brand new
>Has 280k miles on it
>Original motor
>First clutch lasted till 170k, still on second
>Motor still has compression in all could
Sounds like a personal problem desu
What form of motorsport has the most cancerous fanbase and why is it drifting?
>>15971251
Drifting is fun though
thats not casual trackdaybro faggots
F1
>>15971282
Half of trackdaybros are great, just out there to flog their cars safely. The other half are walking stereotypes.

Whoa, what is that?
Crashed my RSX Type S a week ago and don't know what would be the next step up from that. Looking to stay in the $30,000 and under price range, no older than 2013. What is the next step up?
Literally anything.
delete this picture it's makin me sad
Look for yourself, faggu.
You gave us no context as to what you need in a vehicle, and you just wrecked a facelifted RSX (arguably the best-looking Honda ever).
