ITT: We list the cars we've crashed and how bad the damage was.
-1998 Audi A4 Quattro (my first car), spun off a road while screwing around in the snow and went into a hill/grass, car didn't look too bad but since I hit it sideways the chassis was totally fucked up and it was scrapped.
-2001 BMW 530i, drove it into the back of someone, insurance decided it would cost too much to repair and was scrapped.
-2004 BMW M3, clipped a curb while exiting a roundabout and sliding slightly, went home on a trailer but I managed to get it fixed despite my worries it would cost an arm and leg, sold it soon after.
-2009 BMW M3, spun quite badly and hit the back of the car on a guard rail, insurance declared it a write off and bought it from me.
-1999 Jag XJR, stupidly drove while quite tired, fell "asleep" for mere moments, when I woke up seconds later I was on the grass and headed into a tree. Insurance guy turned up and declared it a write off before he even stepped out of his car.
That's it. Pic related is not my M3 but pretty much exactly what it looked like.
maybe driving isn't for you bud, you sound rich enough to hire a chauffeur
none i'm not a shit driver lol
fuck, how much was your insurance for the 2009 m3 when u had it
Winter's coming soon. What's the best car for snow driving?

mca coilovers. are their red series good?
i was going to get some hks suspension, but i like the idea of having an aussie company to deal with if something goes wrong.
plus they'll be set up for our roads, not japanese perfect roads.
anyone know if they make quality shit?
it's for a supra btw
>>16002777
Should note, the supra comes with bilsteins from the factory, but they're 23 years old so i figure fuck it i'll just buy brand new.
So yea, any cunts used MCA coils before?
Looking back on old footage of that storm that fucked SA up, I missed this little gem. Fuck I love thunderstorms, is there anything more comfier than watching all hell break loose?
>I don't have to sell it
>ran when parked
>no tire kickers

You're the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company in the year 1999.
What car do you show up to work in to make an impression (good or bad) on your employees?

When was the last time you had fun, /o/?
/o/ unrelated: February this year. Went skiing with some bro's and had alot of fun.
/o/ related: Somewhere 2012. Went drifting/sliding on a designated track with my sister.
I can't even remember
Today, did a few donuts in the back parking lot after work in my miata. I also ripped a really big skid on this rarely used road after that. Then I got back and smoked a bowl then watched star trek. Feelin' good
This is my first experience with this, but some asshole in a giant diesel truck kept flying past me blowing soot all over my WHITE, freshly washed car.
The first time he did it my windows were down, then he kept doing it over and over until I was able to slam it into 2nd and go around him. He then tried to follow me but I lost him by a couple bus lengths, the pipe on his truck was the size of a fucking basketball too. To make it worse, I just finished detailing my entire car yesterday by hand, and now there's black shit all over my interior and left fenders.
Anyways, fuck people who roll coal, no one likes you.
>pic related is a bit smaller than that douche's
How does this work? Is is just a huge exhaust?
>>15989887
Even diesel owners hate coal rolling faggots, because they were the cause of the DPF delete tuners going away/hiking prices.
>>15989913
nah
black smoke on a diesel means bad combustion so they must mess with the airflow or injection
nothing. its objectively the best rotary to daily drive.
>>16000485
why are these so fucking cheap, i can get one for like 1k euro or some shit. The first time i saw one 2nd hand, it had 290 hp and the guy was selling it for 2k i was like Whatt he fuck how have i not heard of these before.
>>16000506
engines need rebuilding most likely and no they dont make 290hp more like 190 lmao
How's your day going /o/?
>replaced 13 year old batteries
>cleaned the glass of my top for what is probably the first time ever
Pretty good
Pretty good
>>15999902
>it just started making a noise after you guys synced my phone to my radio!
Someone only put one brake pad in? The side they could see?
DAILY REMINDER
their fucking problem
Hate the smell of burned fur in the morning but I just can't be arsed, OP.
>>15998965
haha where is cat hide in stance miat ??
Why did Ram change their grills?
The new ones are super ghey.
because the people who buy their trucks are super ghey?
>>16000898
Why did RAM replace the console shifter with a retarded hockey-puck knob shifter?
Answer: Chrysler absolutely have no idea what their doing to the Ram anymore.
>>16000909
That's pretty stupid too. My dad's old work truck was a 1500 Ram and I can't imagine how annoying it would be to make multi-point turns in that thing.
Rampage looks kinda cool though. To me at least, but I like hybrid trucks for some stupid reason.
Is the new Camaro SS the best bang for buck right now?
Apart from the not-so-okay visibility what do you really think about this car?
I was a Mustang fan but I'm kinda leaning towards the Camaro after hearing good things about it.
I just wanted to know what you guys think.
>>15998842
I just noticed it's shaped like a corvette
>>15998842
No. The best bang for buck is an ls F-body for <10k.
>>15998842
For the price of the camaro you could get a mustang and some mods and beat it. Also you could see.
sup /o/ i'm trying to decide on which car would be best for me. I’m 22 i make about
30k a year after taxes and i already have reliable DD.
i have about 10k i can use for a down payment.
I’m looking for something fast that handles well and looks good
I already test drove my friends e46 330i(auto) and a 2015 mustang v6(auto) i enjoyed both cars pretty equally although I’d be getting a manual for sure.
I am pretty sure I could find a clean e46 M3 with 100k- for <16k and a mustang gt for around 30k
I’m torn because I love the e46 but I worry that maintenance costs would be extremely high. I’ve heard many horror stories. Honestly if the cost of maintaining an e46 in the worst case scenario would be more than 15k over a span of 4 years then I would probably better off getting the mustang as it would come with a warranty.
Anyways you guys are always great so I thought I’d ask your opinion as I really don’t have anyone else
Thanks
