Designed in Japan, bult in Germany. All German cars reliability problems come from design, they're usually assembled pretty good. I guess they're just better at making things rather than inventing them, ironically the critizism they aimed at the jews.

Haven't spoke to him yet, he leaves to work before I do. I did notice the motor is dead and the hinge is loose, he probably couldn't figure how to switch the knob from passenger to driver side, so forced it by hand. Didn't even tell me about it, I'll see the extent of damages properly when I get home.

It's great if you like to look at passing tarmac though

i love them. they are fun little cars, from the time before VW really decided to focus on selling cars to boring people. the Scirocco/Corrado body style is my absolute favorite.

many of the Corrados you can find will have been poorly maintained or have very dodgy modifications. a friend of mine in high school had a G60 - he turned an otherwise nice car into garbage with the crap he did to it.

Okay /o/, ive made a mistake. I bought a 2000 Mustang fron Craigslist in California. The car runs very well, but will not pass a smog test. Research on the error codes suggest that it's about 1k in parts away from passing.

In California, you cannot transfer a title unless it passes smog. This means i can't even sell the vehicle at this point.(unless i sell it to a junk yard)

I bought the car originally for< 2k so I'm not sure it makes sense to fix the emissions. I should note the car has 156k miles.

What would you do? Pic is not the car but similar.
