Got my car back from the tire place. They filled up the tires to 34psi. The stick in my door frame recommends 38psi. Is there a reason the tire place didn't fill it up to 38psi and should I add more air? Also, the tire sidewall says max 40psi.

Loads of vehicles have a recommendation of 35 PSI, they either A) Set them to 34-35 PSI and assumed it was good, or B) their air gauge is out 4-5 PSI and they think its set at 38 PSI.
Not really much of a difference, you can add air but being that close I'd leave it, unless you have TPMS, because its going to be on when its colder out.

BMW has a little bit differentiation left with the 1 and 3 series. I didnt include the 6 Series since I wanted to compare the big volume models.
Plus I chose the A7 over the A8 on purpose, since we actually dont know how the new A8 will really look like.

today i gave my friend a ride and he told me I was revving to high when going out of first gear
I usually rev to 2000-2500 when starting from a stop, I can do it even without touching the accelerator but i find i can start of faster by revving it a bit higher.
I dont launch it or dump the clutch or anything, i let go slowly of the clutch but my friend said im going to eat up my clutch and overheat and warp my flywheel if i keep doing this
Anyway, is this true? what the max rev i should do when coming out of a complete stop on flat road?
