Was trying to figure out why my fox sometimes wants to cough when I try to open it up especially in second and really looking at all three carbs it came with. The two Edelbrock one are identical. Stamped 8867 unless I'm blind. Doors this suggest at one time the car was running double carbs? That's a thing, right?

Do not get slotted, or drilled.

Pads... just dont get race/track pads. I think street is the normal stuff, but just so you know, with any aftermarket pads like that, they work well only when hot. So when you're driving on the highway, and start braking for that off ramp, your pedal feel is gonna be shit

Depends on the car. Check out an 80s to early 90s Bentley/Rolls or a Ferrari 456, they blow todays luxury cars out of the water (when they work), nobody makes super plush cars anymore since that segment got dragged into the performance wars for some reason

It's a good thing plasticiser so don't get it on any gasket, rubber part, O-ring and stuff.

Don't get it in any oils or lubricants you obviously need.
