I really need your help, collective mind of /o/
This woman is selling her ex's 2009 Fireblade, 700 miles, only $1200. She states no mechanical issues and no crashes, as well as full service history available.
But its very far from where I live and she will ship it to me through Amazon, and I would pay through Amazon. Free shipping for me, but I would have to pay return shipping if I'm dissatisfied. Scam or jackpot?
Pic related is one she sent me
fuck that it has scam written all over it.. Dont buy it sight unseen, youre gonna be an easy mark for this "woman"

Kek, I wish this was still up
Well /o/, I've fucked up entirely. I think I fucked up my life and my parents are ready to boot me out of the house, this is all because of /o/'s favorite meme car, the AE86.
My parents gave me spending money for graduating college with a score higher than a 3.5 GPA. I truly thought hard on what to spend the cash on and I was browsing craigslist's for weeks, then my parents suggested a nice sporty car that wouldn't break down on me. Lo and behold, I thought an AE86 would be a perfect car, especially after browsing /o/ throughout my college life.
So I began the hunt and went through countless rust boxes, "I know what I've got", "No low ballers" and "I know what've got!". After growing tired of searching I found the perfect "cheap one", it looked like a steal. I went to pay the owner a visit, it was some old lady whose husband had passed away and had the car sitting for quite a while, she didn't specify how long but it didn't matter to me being the dumbass I was, I didn't even ask what engine it was, where the rust spots were or any specific important questions about it. I bought the car straight away with pure emotion, I spent $7,500 fucking dollars.
>mfw I found out the car had the weaker 4AC engine and an actual 4AGE. Car looks like pic related.
>mfw police pulled me over due to the boot flying open from a rusty hatch
>mfw my uncle said the head gaskets are going to blow at any second
>mfw my life is over.
Well, yes, you ducked up. Repair it and start saving up to engine swap it.
Also, quit whining. No one likes a whiny bitch.
>head gaskets
>head

This is where your story falls to shit OP, you lying faggot
This is like the third thread I've seen just like this in the past month.
What an fuck.
Is there an engine that causes more asshurt than the LS? It's a pushrod V8 that's about as big as a OHC straight 4 and an it weighs less than 400lbs/181kg (the ls1 weighs 390lbs/177kg).
>>16019894
>posts an I4 with all of its equipment and accessories still on it next to a bare LS1
See guies the LS1 is smaller

Rotaries. Every bus rider that's subscribed to Jalopshit has to say his piece about how bad they are because some cuck journo thinks so.
The LS is just the LS. It's primitive, has plenty of aftermarket support and gets the job done. Some swaps are great, others not so.
Are Ferrarifags the worst?
Ferrarifags don't want to accept that Ford, an American car company, beat them twice in the Le Mans. one in the 60's, one recent.
>>16019773
No. Nissan GTR fags are.
>>16019773
I don't know. Rotards are getting pretty insufferable lately
Who's actually driven fast and gotten caught for it
I got a reckless driving ticket for doing 50mph over once.

>decide to step it up and drive along going ~90
>slow down to 75 since I decided i wanted to cruise instead
>cop pulls up behind me to check my plates
>steps on it to pass me and suddenly stops besides me
>still cruising 75, which is already over the speed limit (65 I think)
>he steps on it and I step on it and we end up going 90
>he slows down and I slow down
>he steps on it again and cuts across 3 lanes and leaves me behind
>I decide to follow and we end up going 100
>he brakes suddenly to 60 and I do as well
>he stops me and I end up getting arrested for racing on the highway
>stuck in jail for the next 17 hours
>still worth it

Not a corvette driver probably.
What went wrong?
what brand is this?
>>16019681
toyota
>>16019681
its simple look at the logo, it looks like a propeller.
it used to be an axis power manufacturing company that made planes or plane engines, therefor it's BMW
We are almost at the point where a 90's jap will be worth 100 thousand dollars
why are you not investing? this will be considered a super car with in 5 years
>>16019634
No it won't, because we got the Integra Type R in the states.
R34 GT-Rs are the only 90's Japanese sports cars touching 100K, and NSX-Rs will more than likely hit it too, if they aren't already.

They aren't. You can still buy them all day for $30,000.

supras will be there soon, along with skyline gtr's and nsx
just give it time
Is there any reason to not buy a MR2?

why aren't more sports cars made of fiberglass? it's cheap and lightweight. having that with an aluminum monocoque seems to make the most sense but most cars are made of aluminum with a steel chassis still.
>>16019198
look! carbon is even cheaper
learn about labour required to build fiberglass bodyshell before being a fag next time
It shatters instead of bending and that's a real pain.

Now lookup fiberglass, you can't recycle it only downcycle it.
I've been having a surging/rough idle problem on my '01 corolla. It will only start having issues after driving 5 miles or so when the engine is all warmed up. Surges when accelerating and the idle will bounce around from 500-1100 rpm. Sometimes it gets real rough and I have to restart the car for it to calm down.
I've replaced:
>Cat
>Spark plugs
>fuel pump
>Fuel filter
And I've cleaned:
>MAF
>Throttle body/idle control valve
>Air filter
Next would be injectors. Is there anything else I should look at? It's a 1zz-fe btw.
I wouldn't mess with the MAF if I were you, shits delicate and expensive. Try a new O2 sensor. My Volvo has a fidgety one, on cold days when I'm starting up it cant decide whether more or less oxygen is needed, the tach bounces and engine sounds haggard for a bit. Throttle body and idle control were good places to start.
>>16019153
It's not spitting codes, and I just had one replaced
>>16019118
Replace the IAC if cleaning didn't work.
Which would you choose? 2005 Audi TT or 2005 Porsche Boxster?
Boxster, as it's an actual purpose-built sports car and not a Golf with all practicality removed and the roof chopped off.
I like the look of the TT more
>>16019262
Nah, bro.
Nah.
My VW Golf Mk.6 won't start. I'm in the middle of nowhere in Europe... Help
As I turn the key, it's buzzing, I guess, and it won't start. The board is blinking and I'm guessing that the battery is dead, due to the cold (perhaps)
It's 4 am, and I'd like your help
Nudes if I can start the car and get outta here
>>16018658
Pop the clutch if it's manual.
Suck some cock and get a jump if autotragic.
>>16018658
That's why you don't buy cheap Chinese batteries, Mohammad,
>>16018658
Is it turning over or what? If it's a manual, then do what >>16018667 said and bump start it.
Post car interiors you would actually want in your car
>>16018631
Actually not bad. As for current luxury makes, there's only two that still produce interiors I actually like; Lexus and BMW.
Ultimate comfymobile.
I wouldn't want just the interior though, I'd want the hydropneumatic suspension to go wth it.
>>16018664
As for current MB, I just find their interiors unbelievably tacky and overall disgusting. They reek of "HEY GUYS THIS LOOKS EXPENSIVE PLS BUY IT" instead of actually designing something I'd want to sit in.
