What do you want from the new dorito car?
>expensive supercar killer like the FD
>lightweight runabout like the FB
>middle of the road sports coupe like the FC
>practical sports sedan like the RX-8
>something entirely new
I'd like it to be a spiritual successor to the FC Turbo II than anything. Compete with the Cayman, M2, and Camaro. NSX and GT-R are prohibitively expensive, I want something that can be realistically aspired to.
I want to see the first LS swap.
I want reasonable fuel economy.
Good luck with that..
mazda's current neurotic focus on weight savings combined with a modern rotary with modern materials sounds pretty tits

Any more volbros on here? post your shit box vulva and let's talk brick.
pic related is mine
>>16042663
is it an 850 or a 940 or something else?
>>16042748
it's a 1996 850
I am looking for a 240 sedan for my first car. Anyone have experience with these cars? Do you think I can find one for less than 3,000 that will still be reliable?
Are sun roofs ever used?
Never seen or used mines as it is too hot here in Florida.
>>16046068
>mines
Nigger
Only if you're standing in them
>>16046068
I only ever drink my road 22 on hot summer night with the roof open .
I also tend to open it when driving the west coast mountain passes so long as it is dry, especially if it's clear.
Mostly, I just really like the extra light it brings and the sound of the rain on it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5IJL6rwe_8
So why do driving instructors still teach hand-over-hand steering?
>>16045906
I just palm it 95% of the time.
Who cares how, just turn the fuckin wheel
>>16045906
Because it's more difficult to quickly and smoothly input a lot of steering shuffling the wheel instead of hand over hand
Also women simply don't have the coordination to shuffle the wheel and pay attention to the road at the same time
Is buying a skyline worth it?
Considering most of them are going in the mid $20,000 range
>is buying a 25 year old weeb car for $20k worth it when you could get a C5 corvette for the same price?
Not really. It's a nose-heavy GT car. You can get better cars for the money.
>>16048269
I took a ride in my work buddy's r32 gtr.
He paid 24 for it and had it imported through Florida.
I don't think it's worth it, not for the price or the performance. I mean, it's cool because it's a skyline, its really quick, but you can do so much more with that money. Or, just get a GTST skyline. Then you don't have to worry about turbo maintenance or awd problems, plus they're cheaper and it's still a right hand drive skyline people will gawk over.
Thoughts on this Prius and Volt rival, Hyundai Ioniq?
>>16046815
Also a bit of news from a friend of mine who works at Hyundai over there in South Korea.
Hyundai has been in plans of building a Tesla Model S rivaling car since 2015. He's saying it's probably going to be given a green light by the end of this year. Not sure how true it is.
>>16046824
Since a lot of well established German engineers have joined Hyundai, I think it's going to happen.
it's uglier than a prius and it's korean
/shrug

Whats do you think will be a under 7k fun track/hoon car of 7 years from now
Already priced that low? Looks like I'm going to get me a fun car after college.
>>16045074
the side made it already look bloated alone and those faggots ALSO made the sideskirt hang like a pig belly.

>>16045107
I say just get 1M bumpers and side skirts and your good to go.
How can I fuck up a 2003 Passat wagon past the cost it would be to buy a new one besides crashing it? Dad is too stubborn to get rid of this shit mobile with 130k miles.
>>16043517
>go up to 100
>slam it in second gear
>repeat until something blows
Or overheat the engine to the point where the internals go bye bye

Attacking the touge on precise lines with your lightweight sports car?
Or
Challenging the wangan at high speeds, while maneuvering traffic in your monster machine?
>>16042281
why not both
Shitposting about ecoboost on /o/ while riding the bus
FD with boost controller.
change tires for either touge or wangan
What are other differences between H and T speed rated tires other than handling higher speeds? Which would be better for a daily driver?
I have $25k to spend on a car. What do I buy?
>>16027688
Buy a 2k beater and spend the rest on /OSG/ stickers
>>16027688
Cheapest running car, then rice the shit out of it.

>I am able to run US/Canadian VINs (anything with a fitting VIN; bikes, cars and so on) and US plates. For plates the same rules apply as VINs; 1981 or newer, US registered, and the plate and state are needed. Plates do work most of the time, but VINs are more reliable.
>Please remove hyphens (dashes) from VINs/plates - unless they happen to be part of a vanity plate. This makes copying and pasting easier.
>I can only run vehicles in/originally in the USA/Canada. If they've been exported from the USA/Canada, a report with their time here will be available. Not yet sure about imported cars.
>Vehicles need to be of the 1981 model year or newer. That's when standardized VINs began. Anything older simply cannot be run for a report.
>There are never I(i), O(o), nor Q(q) in VINs. This is to avoid confusion with 1 and 0. So if you are unsure, it is always 1 or 0 (not the case for classic cars, but they cannot be run anyway).
>VINs must be 17 characters exactly. No more, no less.
