Thought I'd give post up a plan for a November meet. Meet up on Saturday Nov. 19th, 10AM at 656 Bennet Rd. Oceanside, CA 92058. Goal is to leave by 10:30, so we won't have to deal with traffic on the mountain. Roads this good shouldn't be impeded by momcows in landbarge SUV's and dipshit hippies in Priuses. Make sure you bring your own food, as restaurants are few and far inbetween. Once we've reached the summit, we can either go dick around in Julian or head back down the 78 and chill at the beach in Carlsbad. So get the day off and bring your shit box, bike, etc. and let's have a blast on the touge, you faggots!

You dont need AWD unless you're a Yuppie with an arts degree. just get whatever car you want. put GOOD winter tires on all 4 corners and you should be fine.
Driving in winter is pretty much like driving in the rain when the pavement is clear. when the roads are covered in snow just drive carefully with easy throttle and braking and smooth steering input.
If you're driving RWD put some weight in the back during the winter months.
