JUST SALT MY SHIT UP

How do you prevent it from eating your car up? Wash it off as soon as possible?
http://www.mustangandfords.com/how-to/engine/1407-how-to-push-a-junkyard-351-windsor-past-1000-hp/
How come it took GM more than 20 years in order to be able to make an stock engine capable of making over 1000 hp
the saddest part is they don't have a production engine that makes more than 650 hp
>>16112373
Does Ford? I'm not even memeing here. The production GT has no official specs out yet as far as I know.
>>16112362
>stock engine
>Rebuild that makes it better than when it left the factory
>Gapped rings
>ARP studs
>Aftermarket gaskets
>AFR heads with upgraded valves, springs, rockers
>New cam (so big the valves hit the pistons)
>New intake manifold
>Bigger throttle body and injectors
>Aftermarket EFI system
>118 octane race gas
Also, the Big Bang 4.8 didn't explode at the end of it's test.
Are they going to Hellcat everything?
>>16112225
>Hellcat Viper
>1300 HP, 1100 Lb-ft of Tork
>comes with a pair of extra-wide drag tires, optional
>0-30 rivals drag cars, beats them in quarter-mile
>top speed is a drag-limited 313 mph

Europeans are poorfags and their cars need to save the earth.

but yuropoors cant afford bentleys
>>16111962
>pushrods
You're joking, right?
Did Bentley really fuck up this hard?
Is the American market the only place for the new Mercedes truck? Why would they pursue this when they're stacked up against Ford, Dodge, Chevy, GMC, Nissan and Toyota?
It seems to me MURICA is already covered, who the fuck else needs a truck with a price tag and future maintenance bills of a merc?
Oh believe me, there's a huge market for these shits.
People who'll buy these won't actually use it as "pickup".
There's a chance this will become a curse like it happened to offroaders.
More and more people bought offroaders but just used them as city grocery getters which was the cause of the birth of SUVs.
This might start turning pickups into poopups which rich people use to get their starbucks
>>16111980
Literally this. Richfags who like to show off their money and have a thing for Merc will trade in their F350's for these as commuters and will literally never use it as a truck.
I bet some rapper will make a song about it and nigs will buy half of them
>>16111949
Not alot of /o/ knows this but a whole lotta people in southeast asia love pick ups and a good amount of them can afford mercedes
Do love taps like this damage cars?
I got hit like this a few hours ago and there was literally no visible damage so the guy and I parted ways and he apologized. But I'm a little cautious if there may be underlying damage although everything seems fine for now?

some kind of weird dodge stratus?

Were you the front or back car?

Check plastic caps.
If they poped of you replace them.
>slow as hell
>rollie-pollie suspension
>Mazda reliability
Unless you just want a cheap convertible, what's the point?
>>16111776
>slow as hell
Except on twisty canyons where they're faster than you
>rollie-pollie suspension
One the best platforms you can get for the price. Perfect weight distribution and chassis make it optimal tuner car.
>mazda reliability
Is this a joke? You see how many NA miatas are still rolling around the streets with hundreds of thousands of miles?
>>16111776
I'll just leave this here.

Went to the pick n' pull today to search for Subaru parts.
>Only one Subaru in the entire yard
>Not an Impreza/WRX
>Find a whole bunch of cool Toyotas though
>This MR2 looked so sad sitting there in the junkyard
>Surrounded by its Celica, Corolla, and Camry brethren
Anyone have any cool Pick'n'pull finds?
>>16111740
You would never find any wrx in a pick n pull yard.
>any cool pick n pull finds?
Found a set of "one piece" headlights for a da9 if you don't know what that is google it.
Also found skunk2 coilovers (rare)
Ground control springs. (Rare)

>>16111835

Is he our guy?
>>16111729
he has some fallacies but is very entertaining
he's also a scaley (furfags but for dragons) so somehow that discredits him online. iunno.

I've been building credit for about a year and a half now. Not quite enough to buy an RS though, apparently. Like I said my scores are good (>730), it's the lack of history and ridiculous amount of the loan that screwed me I think.
They said I could have had it if I could get a co-signer, but I really didn't want to ask anybody to risk their credit on my drift mobile
Where did they go wrong?
They used to have some of the most respected cars in the industry, now their cars are more boring and ugly than anything else, even the Chinese.
Can Japan turn itself around, or is it doomed to fall into oblivion like the American car industry did many years ago?
>>16111615
Blame cvt and lack of youth interest in cars in japan. leading to things like the s660 missing its target market and instead being of interest to way older people.
>>16111615
Still better than mazda. Try again mazdrone

Things we should seriously consider even though you'd want to believe that it's complete rubbish
I'll start with an easy one
>jbweld
>>16111509
that kneading epoxy stuff ("mighty putty") works well in a pinch. this, JB weld, and bondo can keep any car together
Plastidip. Seems like most people say it flakes and is hard to clean. I sprayed my whole shitbox and it's held up really well and people don't notice it's not paint. I did it right with a hvlp gun so that probably helped.
>>16111620
After watching a few videos from that DipYourCar guy, that shit is really impressive. Can get a kit to do a whole car for really cheap too. Most people seem to just get the basic shit in a spray can though so I think that gives it the bad reputation.
