why is tesla not a good sports car? it has very high acceleration and instant torque.
not a bait thread, i genuinely wonder.
>>16113832
The acceleration stats aren't consistent with repetition, it's heavy as fuck, and most likely has some odd wear items in performance applications.
>>16113832
It's not a sports car. That's why it's not a good sports car.
>>16113832
Weight. The worst brakes barely still possible to even get street legality, even with the biggest motor. One "ludicrous mode" acceleration depletes the battery a shitload and power goes down significantly.
A lap around the Ring basically kills the Tesla.
Like literal or just witty jokes?
Yes.
I'll fix your car for a blowie
I want to put something on a helmet. Which adhesive should I use?

You could make something better than that for a fraction of the price even if you have basic skills.
The Tesla’s driver, a 27 year-old woman, and her 44 year-old passenger were allegedly driving at a “high rate of speed,” IFD Battalion Chief Kevin Jones told WTHR, when the driver lost control and slammed into a tree. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene, the passenger later died in the hospital.
The crash sent battery cells “firing off almost like projectiles around the rescuers”.

>27 year old woman
Well, that's your problem
>44 year old passenger
Guessing this was some thirsty dude who actually owned the car and wanted to impress her by letting her drive.
>>16113604
You wreck any car going 100 intro a stationary object and you're gonna die, this just gave everyone some extra fireworks
>>16113604
>high rate of speed
It's not the velocity you idiots, it's the acceleration at the end.
Hi /o/
Are there any fun cars with automatic transmissions? I've never driven stick.
tesla model s
Get a car with paddle shifters or learn stick.
I want to remove my dealer frame that's covered in advertisements, but I'm looking for one where you can slide the plate in, so it keeps the metal off the paint. Should I just buy a cheap plastic frame, or are the metal ones better? I imagine a decent metal one would have a rubber backing to protect the paint.
>>16113303
They wouldn't. Get some double stick interior tape and stick it on the 4 corners of your plate then put your frame back on and RE install screws. The tape is probably only available through a dealership but you can buy a substitute after that it should be good. I personally don't worry about what your worried about because my plate is secured so it won't move.

Who /MOTDread/ here?
It's been over two hours since I dropped it off. What's going on?
They're knocking holes in your rockers, grinding your brake lines and drilling your cat
>>16113216
Did you top up all the fluids beforehand? It would be a shame if it failed for no windscreen wash
>>16113241
Kwik Fit once failed my brother for his rear passenger seat head light being out. I am not shitting you. They then told him it would be another £99 to redo the MOT.
Quick, to the trollmobile
A Zastava Koral?
... Uhhhh... OK? It's... Just a Yugo. It's not a smart or anything. Just a mediocre... Is it a slavshit...? EH, probably, it's a mediocre car from a dead country, that isn't really out there. I had it confused for a golf at first.
The Twingooo
My Polo is stuck between two cars, I've been waiting for 1 1/2 hour, tried to wiggle my way out, can't do shit with my 60 hp plus the clutch started smelling.
Live in the city they said... called the police, as usual they can't do shit, I'm stuck.
Wat do
Sell the Polo as is where is and buy a new car an hour later. Problem solved. Also move out of the city, fuck that
>>16112958
Already trying to sell it
Shit's driving me crazy, if one of the two comes you're going to hear about me on the news.
>>16112972
Could probably get a mate or two to come help you flip the van over. That's one way of getting out I'd say. You seem pretty fucked, I'm surprised police won't do anything. Try the council perhaps?
Ausfag here considering a career in new-car sales.
Is it a worthwhile career? Or should I just become a NEET dole bludger?
It's really only a job for old men. I've never seen a car salesman under 30 here.
>>16112917
>Or should I just become a NEET dole bludger?
One does not simply become n33t
>try a bunch of different careers
>none of them lead anywhere so you get fired and replaced with a bunch of 457 visa currypoos

sorry, Dagestan is that way ----->
Went and checked out this 07 camry today. No real damage inside or out. Test drove it and it drove like a dream. Guy is asking $3425 for it. It has a NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE brand on the title, which I realize is a huge red flag. They told me the DMV made an error. The car has only had 1 owner and has never been in an accident according to carfax. The NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE brand is literally the start of the vehicles history. It has 232k on it now. Thoughts?
Thoughts?
Run and don't look back.
>>16112553
Just get a civic for 3k. Clean title, 2 owner if possible, manual trans, stock radio, ex trim. 03-05
>>16112553
Eh I bought a car with a not actual mileage issue. Guy gave me proof that the improper mileage was reported to the dmv and that it was corrected. Tbh I wouldn't let mileage scare you unless it's some grave oversight and it's clear you might be getting scammed.
