Okay guys. so all vape boiracer memes aside, are Subaru WRXs any good?
it seems like it.
>AWD
>Turbo boxer
>4 doors for more whores
>manual gearbox
>new under 30k
>huge aftermarket selection
is there something I'm missing? they seem pretty good...
>>16139912
Main flaw is the pancake engine
Thats why subaru is shit
They're the most expensive car to insure in America but if you want a fast daily they're good.
>>16139917
really? is the boxer bad? i really truly don't know. what's the main flaw in them?
What do you think about poverty spec cars?
I kinda think they've got a charm
I do like the standard top-line, full equipment variants of cars, almost more so than their next-level sport versions. But poverty spec...really depends, I think. Can't think of a one right now.
Poverty spec has a charm for sure, I would not daily one though.
I would turn it into a track beast, but for dailies I would need a car that has creature comforts like climate control, power windows/mirrors/steering/brakes, and a quiet cabin.
>>16139883
I daily one
What car exactly is? I know that is a Subaru, but anything more, I need your help /o/

Subaru with a light kit

is the AE111 a better AE86?
>>16139701
Yes

Pros
-looks better (subjective)
-4AGE
-Cheaper
Cons
-FWD
Think of a slightly worse dc2 type r and you've got the idea.
I'd imagine the super slut suspension on them is even harder to replace than the celica's too.
Saw this on Jalopnik earlier today, thought I'd ask you guys.
If the presidential candidates were a car, which ones would they be?
Only requirements are as follows:
>35yrs or older
>Made in America (or by Americans)
Bernie Sanders as a Chevy Nomad. American, old, not too stylish, but reliable.
>>16138928
>Saw this on Jalopnik earlier today
you should go back there
Sanders would be the ford mustang II; says it'll do great things but never gets close.
Trump would be a big block mopar that had been hot rodded; loud, flashy, not effecient, but god damn you want it.

Is a rs7 the best get away vehicle?
It'll out accelerate a Tesla or Hellcat with an APR tune, not a bad option
10 sec quarter I think
It can't even get away from the mechanic.
An RS6 can haul more loot.
what is name of this part? Yeah i know. im a noob.

LMAO!
Can anyone recommend a way to clean this shit off?
Aerosol brake cleaner but say goodbye to the clear coat on the rims. If you weren't a lazy moron who didn't neglect to clean their rims then soap or a rim cleaner would do the job but no you let it build up for 60 000 km and now it won't come off easy.
>>16136871
you just need a good wheel cleaner, like Sonax
>>16137035
this and polish it with pic related
Is there any reason to upgrade to big brakes on my 2010 mustang gt? i haven't taken it to a track or anything since I've owned it, and the only real time that I feel as though the regular brakes are a problem is when I need to slow down from 120+ on the highway. ive already done a full suspension package so there's nothing left to do there.
>>16136509
There's nothing wrong with having bigger brakes under any circumstances.
They look nice and have the added function of saving your life if it comes down to that.
Just get some good softer pads like Porterfields. You aren't going to feel much difference with the big brakes except for sustained use
>>16136525
Can you explain what you mean by sustained use? Do you mean braking more over a short period of time or maybe braking at higher speeds?
Mines is the 1971 Plymouth Hemicuda.
pretty much.
Do corvettes count? Stingrays make me hard.
valiant regal hardtop
Clean it up.
Organize it.
It looks like dogshit.
>>16127806
Where will my airbox go, anon?
It may look like dogshit but it works. Let's see you cleaning up a modern daily driver's engine bay. I can't even begin to comprehend why you'd think it's in any way comparable to a custom built, tucked, simplified 65 years old show car.
Why should I care how it looks, it's the fucking engine bay
2017 Chevrolet Corvette or Porsche 911 Carrera S?

* I meant Grand Sport
Porsche was the quickest of the line.
>cheaper
>more fun to drive
isn't it obvious?
