Fairlady 370z alternatives/ input?
looking at buying a 2010, manual 370z as a 2nd car (primary is a Hilux that is getting too stupid to daily). Looking for a fun, track-able, daily to drive as it gets garaged. best option thus far is a 370z (can get with sub 50k kms for under $30k AUD via work) but want alternatives. i am a mechanic by trade but the newer the better. i'm not scared of projects but after owning nothing but oldies, newer is a bonus. any other options to recommend? must be under $30k AUD.

Previous option (which i was set on) was a Toyota MR2 turbo gen 2. was going to beat on it until it went before doing a 2GR-fe on it. was all a-gogo until i drove a 370, fell in love with the power curve and liked the freshness. I work for a prestige brand so i have become spoilt in the ways of luxury shit.

the clarkson part isn't even that much of a hyperbole.
I'm used to big landbarges and when I drove a twingo with a dead speedometer I drove several times way under the limit (honking intensified) because it felt so much faster than I'm used to.
amazing how the car size makes a difference.

How else you suppose to buy a new muscle car and be a snowflake simultaneously?

2 hours is still less than 24 hours
Stoked. Thanks for Prime login mom.
I've been looking at Mercedes c230 and bmw 3 series since I'll use it for daily highway usage. Are those cars any good? I have 10,000$ to use. 6 speed is a requirement
>>16171915
If you are unable to work on them yourself or unable to afford a new bmw or Mercedes then you need to look for a Lexus or Infiniti
At that price point, you might be able to get a reasonably specced E46/E90 330 or 335. Expect to exceed your 10k limit in maintenance pretty fucking quick, though.
If you want the responsible choice, you should probably look into things like a Mazda 3/6, rather than old Mercs and Bimmers.

Of all of her pics, this one remains one of my favourite.

What car's fandom would get the most anally buttblasted by a 13b swap into their favorite car?
>>16170712
Most likely mustanfags
Supra
Corvette
Mustang
Challenger
Camaro
Charger
NSX
Any diesel truck
Here's the deal: Fanbases with big engines would never take you seriously in the first place, it would only mildly amuse them at the very most. You have to troll a fanbase that actually thinks they have a great small engine in their cars. Read: Hondafags.

I was aware this truck did this multiple times before, my coworker used to drive it and he said it did it to him 3 times and all 3 times the ball joint were fucked and Chrysler even recalled the truck to "fix" the death wobble issue
And the truck barely has 100,000 miles
Thanks Chrysler

You fucking did what? How? Do Californians drive on the left side of the road because of all the asians or something? What the fuck am I not getting here?
What car is the best off-road, totally stock? I mean drive it off the showroom floor onto the trails.
>>16173264
Depends on how much of a pussy you are. Any car can off road if you have the will and determination to do it. Also that is not a car.
That you can get today?
Probably a MB G500 4x4*2, or a G63 6x6
Anything that has an option package to come with chunky tyres.
Hello br/o/thers. I come to you with a simple request:
Can we please kill the "FWD sucks" meme?
There are so many amazing vehicles from multiple manufacturers that just happen to drive the front wheels.
Pic related:
This is me at a track day last Sunday... beating WRX's, BRZ's 240sx's mustangs, camaros, even a few corvettes.
I'm not saying I'm some expert driver, or that my car is better than those listed. There are plenty of other cars with much better times than mine. All I'm trying to say is that a vehicles performance has more to it than its drivetrain configuration.

Killing a meme only makes it stronger, similar to a hydra.

Hey friend I'd love to join your cause, the only problem is that fwd fucking sucks so many balls.
