>Money is nothing to me now.
What top 10 cars should I start my impressive collection with?
No joke, if I wasn't morning profusely, I'd get an 09 mustang bullitt gt
>small fortune
>money is nothing to me now
You sound like one of those inexplicably bankrupt lottery winners. Mourn your pa, buy ONE car, and hire someone to beat you properly in his stead. Or a financial planner.

Can a car with a dual-clutch automatic be considered a "drivers car?"
Can a thread this shitty be considered a "troll thread"?
>>16188234
Plenty of race cars have them.
...are they driver's cars?
>not a drivers car
Motor mounts?
How do i find them/how many do i have, which do i buy, replace all or just dogbone?

Should I finance a car for $13,000 if I work minimum wage? I have $10,000 in saving and $1,000 in cash. I make $800 a month and calculated that is be left with about $200 a month. $150 for insurance(may be smaller), 50 for gas(im look at economy cars), and the maximum I would pay for the car note would be $280. I got a pre approved loan for $14,000 and my limit is $13000. I plan on getting a better job once I get a car tho. Is this smart? I do what to do buying cars stresses me out
You can't barely afford a bus pass let alone a vehicle.
>>16187897
LOL no. At that point, just buy a cheap, reliable car. For like $3-$5k.
>>16187897
Holy fuck, no.
Can /o/ tell me what car this is
>>16187761
Is that a Roush?
frs/brz/86
/o/, I've finally saved up around $5,500 to spend on a new (to me) car.
I've always wanted an RX-7, but seeing as the 90's models are rare in the states, I'd like to pick up an RX-8.
My biggest concern is that I hear the apex seals blow just before 100,000 miles, and the cheapest ones I can find run about 5k at 72,000.
I'm just looking to get a car that will last me another two-three years of driving between two cities, and that being said, do you think this would be a worth-whole investment? I guess I'm looking for owners who have either regretted their purchase or who have learned valuable maintenance lessons from their ownership.
Thanks a ton.
>>16187755
If you want a daily driver, there's much better choices than an RX-8 (or any rotary vehicle for that matter).
If you want a fun, RWD car, then look into something like a Miata, MR2, or early 2000's G35 (Nissan, I know, but they're actually tough as nails).
>>16187755
3rd gen MR2
similar price range
no rotary
Buy a v8 Mustang with fewer than 110k miles retard
>yfw you ask someone what they drive and they tell you they drive a Miata
>>16187572
>See guy climb out of his Miata while working in his building.
>Chat him up about it
>Turns out to be 350 SBC swapped
I'd ask for a ride along but that's gay.
>he is a miata cuckold
>drive a Miata
>don't be a faggot
Pic one
RIP 1998-2016, at least they went out with a win.

They are the true champions in my heart.
Also it's a nice note that Aston will win the GTE championship with an outdated car against the brand new Ford.
"My prediction is that Audi will be back before Peugeot"
Getting the subtle dig in as usual
Are you guys talking about Audi? what about Porsche? is it basically just going to be Porsche and Toyota? if Porsche dropped out would toyota be able to win back to back by just showing up?
You are diagnosed with terminal cancer and have 6-months.
What car would you get?
>>16187403
honda prius
>>16187403

Probably that one, I could easily get some fat student loans to pay for it.
Shit! Niggers stole your car. Good thing it was insured.
What was it and would you buy it again? Maybe a different version?
Me: E46 316i. Would definitely buy it again, but then a 320 or stronger. Those 4 cylinders are garbage.
>>16187138
>2003 Toyota Camry with the 4 cylinder
Hell no. I'd get something at least moderate more entertaining. Maybe one of those Saturn coupes or a Jeep XJ
>>16187138
It's that a rat's tail?
>>16187138

hell yeah, would buy again for sure, but this time one with less rust

Independent businesses don't operate nationally nor do they offer the same discounts
What's the point if I can't get service in another state
What are you planning on getting done today /o/?
My winter beater is 40 miles away at my parents house with a blown head gasket. I made plans to go there today, do a comp test, and at least pull the head, or remove as much stuff as I can. Yesterday was mid 50's, right now its 32F, and super windy.
Goddamn it. I need to pack all my tools, take all my crap with me, hopefully not forget anything.
That car is sitting outside, no garage. No cover from wind, and daylight is burning. I lost all motivation.
So, what do you need to get done?
starter on my dad's 7045 Allis Chalmers, motherfucker was a bitch since the loader was left on it, that and get the log splitter running again.
Need to replace both my sprockets, put on my new chain, fix some electrical issues with my lights, and I should be good for a while after that.
The only reason I am hesitant is because there is a very high probability I will fuck somethign up and the bike will be out of commission for longer than anticipated.

My latest truck...replace serpentine, bleed brake lines, replace 2 cab mount bushings...in the driveway...in Eastern Ontario...
Living the dream...
How long until the mainstream supercar manufacturers (Ferrari, Lambo, McLaren etc) say 'fuck you' to chasing lap times no one cares about and start making cars with manuels again?
I think its possible manuels will reach meme status in the next few years and pretentious rich guys will want them so they can show off. Right now you cant even buy a Lamborghini or Ferrari with a manual transmission, the renaissance of manuals has to start sooner or later before the entire market goes to shit and everything is electric.
>>16186665
>I think its possible manuels will reach meme status in the next few years and pretentious rich guys will want them so they can show off
this has already happened
>>16186674
But the only supercar manufacturers that still produce manuals are Aston Martin and Porsche. Even cars that used to be about driver involvement and fun rather than benchracing, such as BMW M cars, are now sold 9/1 in favour of dual clutches.
>>16186665
>manuels
Post pic of cars which unsuccessful people drive in their 40s or 50s.
Yesterday I saw a fat dude with his wife that deserved a better life partner and 3 kids in a nearly dead Daewoo Matiz that made all kinds of noise and looked shitty.

>The crew must go to miami and purchase any honda civic with a budget of 3k. any cash they don't spend can be used for upgrades. Next they have to compete in a few performance based challenges.
>tfw an unmolested civic for 3k in miami doesn't exist
idk how else to improve this idea, add to it /o/
>you must buy a v12 german sedan and drive it from Berlin to Paris
>the crew must fly to Uruguay where they have exactly $1378 to buy a plot of arable land and a diesel powered car.
>they must then grow enough crops to make their own fuel which they will use to drive back to GT HQ in LosAngeles.
>the winner gets to hold down this audience member and run his tongue over her teeth for as long as they wish
