alright /o/ as we know the free world is ruled by a racist retard
this means us car guys must focus on mars
elin musk will have tera domes but the real question: would your car make it on mars?
gravity is 62%less than here on earth.....
>(you)
Mars doesn't have oxygen so the only shitbox I will be driving is going to be a Leaf.
Today after driving my friends C63 AMG I can't look at cars or even at life the same anymore. I can't stop smiling every time I remember driving that thing.
I currently drive a 150hp shitbox that handles well... and I thought it was pretty fun to drive. I thought my perfect car would be a S2000 or a Miata, something with not too much power but nice handling.
After driving that german god machine now I want something brutal, loud, with insane torque and acceleration, fuck Jap cars.
Would a newer 5.0 Mustang provide a driving experience similar to a C63 AMG? I know the level of refinement is much lower but has anyone driven those two cars... how do they compare?
>TLDR; I'm excited and want something similar to C63 for cheaper

Baby's first encounter with horsepower? You'll get bored of it eventually
>>16184753
> ITT, things that never happened as told by a 14y that came to 4chinz in need of validation
/sage
Hey /o/, I saw a thread about this a while ago and I'm still confused about this. I'll keep the question simple. Can you attach the front end of a Silvia to pic related or does the conversion only work with pre 1994 models?
>>16184689
>Can you attach the front end of a Silvia to a Silvia?
Yes.
>>16184689
>Can you attach the front end of a Silvia to pic related
It's literally the same front end. The grille is the only difference
>>16184689
Fucking scumbags
>I use a torque wrench and tighten all of my bolts to the exact secifications recommended to me in the owner's manual.
>>16184676
its not that big of a deal. I know which bolts and nuts need tightening and which ones don't need as much.
Know that every time you screw and unscrew something it slowly loses tread and strength so tightening it more is required to maintain proper function
>>16184676
Have fun stripping threads with your unchecked retard strength.
>>16184676
To be fair some bolts are really easy to strip/break. After a while working on your car you begin to know which bolts need to be tightened to spec lest they break.
BUMPER TO BUMPER
POWERTRAIN
CAN YOU KILL YOURSELF IN A SHITTY OLD FERRARI
Hey /o/, my clutch is sticking at the bottom when I press down fully. It springs back up, but it gets stuck for half a second and then comes back up, any thoughts as to what it could be? It just recently started doing it yesterday.
Also, second question, I'm getting a clunk from both my rear struts/springs. The strut mount is tight, as well as all the other mounting bolts. Is there something internally that can cause the clunking noise?
>>16183967
might need a new master or slave cylinder
yo name is TOBY lol haha
>>16183967
just bleed it you goof ball
>>16184040
I don't wanna ;_;
GM = Toyota = Volkswagen
Ford = Honda = Mercedes- Benz
Chrysler = Nissan = BMW
Chrysler still has platforms and engines literally designed by mercedes though
>>16183624
What a fuckin insult to Honda and Mercedes
>>16183633
>muh domestic muscle
>ancient w124 chassis
I knew about the chassis but engines? Which ones exactly?
Nice dubs
>>16183624
>le recal brand on the same level as two of the most reliable car manufacturers in the world
what car is this
A desirable shitbox.
looks like a Nissan March/Micra
why can't the actual sixth gen mustang look like this
I honestly really like that grille design, and the way the fog lamps are integrated into it. It reminds me of the 60's GT without actually trying to be a retro design like the fifth gen.
It's a hell of a lot more creative than the normal design, which is basically just a Fusion with a longer hood
>>16182956
It's fucking ugly. The 6th gen mustang looks way better than that edgy piece of retard styling
Shit b8
>>16182956
It's not a matter of "can't" but "won't"
Give your dream rally car and what specs it would have.
2003 gt coupe mustang with 4WD and a Straight 4.
Pic kinda related.
A T5-powered Volvo Amazon with modernized suspension. Looking sick while getting hektik.
Lancia Delta S4. As it is/was.
Probably a S1 replica. Pretty much like this but in raw carbon.

What are GC8 WRXs like for a daily?
Good.
>>16182736
Until you put loads of STi stickers on it and a loud muffler.
Drove one a few times.Far from stock though. Loved it. Keeping an eye out for a good deal.
I know it's a cliche, but everything is shit.
Because it is the current year, I mean COME ON.

john oliver pls no bully
Why is this thread dying
couldn't possibly be that I posted something that's echo chamber tier and almost all the people on this board agree with it.
Post craigslist finds, weird shit, whatever.
Are you a bad enough dude to drive this drift missle?

I know what I got: the video
fuckin cheap as chips
>garage has an in-progress 2000's accent owned by a friend jammed in it
>driveway gets used too much, has one project in it already
>can't park uninsured/nonrunning on the curb
>can't put cars in the backyard because rented house
>going to go broke if I store them at a place
>roommate 2 has a Duster project and roommate 3 has a Talon, both off-site that need to come home
>all four of us have dedicated daily drivers on top of this
Should I just go back to guns until I can move out to bumfuck and get 10 acres
They were so much fucking easier to store and having one I don't use just meant putting it in the back of the safe
Had to pass up two sub-$400 parts vehicles today because I literally have nowhere left to put anything and I don't think my job will let me keep any more projects there. And there's still at least two projects I want to START on top of all this.
also Auto Storage General Thread I guess
>>16181829
>And there's still at least two projects I want to START on top of all this
How bout you whole ass one project instead of half assing a bunch of projects?
Probably tell the friend bumming storage off of you to get fucked, and then work on getting your life priorities straight.

Best bang for your buck lightweight wheels? I need 17x8 or 18x8", and somewhat stylish without breaking the bank. My current wheels are stock 17" from Enkei, about 25lbs per without tire. Was hoping to drop under 20lbs per.
I found a set of Volk TE37s for $1500 used, normally they go for $3000 new. About 18lbs. That's going to be my benchmark. Is there anything with better bang for your buck?
Gram Lights? Enkei RPF1s? Oz Ultraleggera? It's so dang hard to find actual numbers on wheel weights. What does /o/ recommend?
>>16181676
what car?
not every wheel look good on every car
except for TE37 and rp-f1 which work with almost everything but you already mentioned these
>>16181676
Why do you care how much the wheels weigh? Are you tracking this car? If not, just keep the stock wheels. It's not like you're a good enough driver to tell the difference.
not OP but looking for 17x7.5 alloys, 5x112 bolt patter... any recs?
>just keep it stock nigger
stock wheels came with some scuff damage, they are now my winters okthx
