So blew headgasket on the Mr.2 during a misfire due to shit plug wires and have since pulled the bigport 4A that is in it. Putting in a 20v Silvertop with a Megasquirt pnp, more power, blah blah blah. Question is, what should I do with the motor that is coming out of the car? I have thoughts of pairing my bigport head with a 4A-GZE block because of its stronger internals and 7 ribbed block. Any ideas from there?
Picture is of the 20v with its hideous paint.
Some 222D interior for you.
Photo of the car when it was in a little better shape.

>Any ideas from there?
well put the finished 4A-GZE in a FWD Corolla/Prizm and enjoy having a hektik DD-able sleeper.
Guys help.
Crashed my mums car while trying to rally and drift while high on shard.
She can't know or she'll make me do a drug test, do you reckon I can just use a bit of aussie export spray paint and it'll look good as new? Really can't afford much because I spent heaps on the failed vort tests

All I want in life is a BMW. It doesn't matter if it's used. Unfortunately, BMW's are considered really expensive where I live.
What to do?
>>16202180
Kill yourself
>>16202180
>I just want a BMW, I don't care which
>these kind of brand whores not only exist, but are extremely common
At this point you might as well just buy some BMW badges off ebay and tape them to the front of your car.

Anybody know if these old 80s Tercel wagons are good. I've really been wanting to get one to be my daily driver.
>>16202027
They're deathtraps.
Get a safe Subaru instead.
I will witness you.
>>16202136
I really don't care about dying though.
Comfy cars you could daily drive and fall in love with.

I've literally already done that but with a ferd

So apparently a screw has found its way in to my tire. With washer and everything.
Did someone deliberately screw it in, or is it possible that it found its own way?
Do I try to remove it?
it will wear down on road and damage the tire more. puncture repair it if you have a kit, if not just take it too a shop and let them deal with the hassle
It's over. You're finished, OP.
Buy a new tire.
You just ran over it, i've ran over a few - both times on 6 month old tyres on separate cars.
Take it to a puncture repair shop and ask them nicely - some will do it for free.

Should have gotten Ecoboost
Nice blogpost, fag
Tell your "buddy" that you're annoyed and to stop bothering you so much
There's one of two things going on here. He's trying to be your friend and cars might be the only thing he is interested in that you are interested in or he's trying to get you to help him work on his car for free. It's usually a mixture of both. Working in retail sucks ass. Just be his friend and tell him he needs to chill. Then invite him out to have a few beers or whatever.
I just bought a 2005 Isuzu NPR. It's got the 5.2l diesel. Anyways I need a manuals for it and can't find any.
pic somewhat related. I have the same style dump bed with removeable dove tail but my dump bed has solid metal walls.
Because you're sitting right over the engine instead of a transmission. Should have bought American stupid weeb.
>Implying GMC doesn't make a cabover either.
What does that have to do with needing a manual?
>>16201140
A lot easier getting one beforehand
I'm curious-
Has anyone ever tried making an automated dual clutch with a faux stick/clutch (with gates, and each one is the next gear, like a manual)? As in it performs the lightning changes of a dct, but with the fun of a manual
How is it fun if it's fake? It'd act just like an autostick or paddles.
>>16201035
There's literally no good reason for this. If you want a manual, get a manual.
>>16201035
Yea, any car with a fucking slap shifter thing or paddles and a dot like ford's, audi and some other retarded shit that's not a real manual
I picked up a 1992 Isuzu Rodeo 2WD 2.6l 5spd today for $650. It's so base model, it has a bench seat in the front. Seems to run decent so far, and the AC even works so I think I did pretty good. Any Isuzu fans here?
Share your shitbox trucks/SUVs.
I know nothing about Isuzus.
That's a neat car though.
>>16201089
>I know nothing about Isuzus.
Neither do I, but I've always thought Rodeos were the best looking SUVs of the early/mid-90s. I wish it was V6/4WD, but for the price I really can't complain.
Have you tried turning it off and back on again
Is the Mazda 3 a hatch, or wagon?
>3000 lbs - 3100 lbs
>Long wheelbase
>Definitely not a "compact" car
What is it /o/? It even has a window behind the rear door, and then the hatch, like a wagon does. I've seen people call Mazda/Mazdaspeed 3's wagons and hatches on here especially.
>>16200953
Its a hatch
>>16200953
It's a hatch. Not a great one desu. Get a golf.
definitely wouldn't call it a wagon; closer to a hatch to me but still a bit of a stretch. It's a bastard child lol.
What car is this?
thats the I'm secretly terrified of driving and can't drive for shit so i'm going to buy the biggest thing I can to make sure I am safe so fuck everyone else car

So I've been browsing for some cheap cars on craiglist, the problem is that most of the cars there have over 100k+ miles and sometimes 150k, I'm wondering at what mileage do you usually need to replace the engine or what mileage does it usually break down and needs new parts.
>>16200602
>at what mileage do you usually need to replace the engine
When it suffers catastrophic failure and can't be rebuilt. Most can easily last 200k with normal maintenance, unless we're talking VAG stuff which breaks down right when the warranty ends.
>>16200602
Are you retarded? Seriously, are you retarded?
Most of the major manufacturer's lineups will go past 150k. Think replacing the engine at 450k.
Sage because you're fucking stupid.
>>16200602
240K or more on most engines.
