>in the morning, I have to go back to being an average joe
>but for that glorious moment, I am master of my own fate
We have plenty of threads on cars, but not that many on driving. Does anyone else feel that driving feel?
>>16164828
I feel a master of my own fate whenever i drive.
Dont know why, its just that whenever i drive i feel full in control of everything around me. Like if i am my own god.
>>16164840
Probably because you're blasting eurobeat
My favorite thing to do on days off is go through these hills nearby and around this manmade lake while blasting Eurobeat. I started doing it way back when I was 18 for the Initial D meme feeling, but over the last four years it's become a habit that never fails to make me empty my mind.
My old shitty car leaks coolant. So i bought some GREEN coolant and put it in, but i obviously was a retard and filled past the fill line.
Well i went to top it off again Wed cuz it was starting to overheat in drive thrus. Then i see this shit, and added a little more.
I had to drive three hours and thought i was gonna blow up.
Anyone kno what caused my green half antifreeze coolant to turn to diarrhea???
I was gonna take it to speedee to clean that shit off

Which Mid-Engine layout is best?
>FMR (Front Mid-engine / Rear-wheel drive)
Viper, Corvette, S2000, RX-7, 350/370Z
or
>RMR (Rear Mid-engine / Rear-wheel drive)
458 Italia, Ford GT, NSX, Cayman, Fiero, MR2
Best for what?
>>16217918
everything overall
>>16217920
That's meaningless. All the named cars are good in their own right (except in /o/'s opinion, of course), with little disadvantage to any.
>7 speed DCT, like every other supercar
>generic LMP styling, like every other supercar
>Sport Cup 2 tires, like every other supercar
>carbon fiber body, like every other supercar
>boring V6TT that sounds like shit
>spartan race car interior with no style
>active aero is no longer unique
Good for benchracing? Likely. Will it set any records? Considering it's pretty much the same as a McLaren 675LT in specs and design, probably not. Will it have any appeal beyond track times? Probably not.
>>16219624
found gm's marketing team
>will it have any appeal beyond track times
Yes, it will boast reliability something other competitors don't have (cough) corvette (cough).
>V6 that sounds like shit
except nobody has heard the V6 yet

What engine so you think the race car versions are running?
Will paying off an auto loan early effect my credit negatively? I have enough saved to pay off the remaining year of my three year loan, I know it's not good for credit, but is it bad?
>>16219562
what kind of loan was it? i had a bank loan for a car when i was around 20, they said if i paid it off early it doesnt affect my credit at all. that loan actually built my credit, didnt need a co-sign and now that im 25 when i went back to the bank they said my credits near perfect and i could get a mortgage with no co-sign
>>16219562
All it'll do is make your credit history shorter than it would be otherwise. Doesn't actually hurt anything, just means your history won't be as long, which means your score won't be as high.
I paid off all my student loans a couple years after I dropped out of college. Still have a 750 credit score.
No. I sometimes pay cash, others I finance for a while if the interest rate is low enough. I almost never take them to full term.
Thoughts??

Where are they going to get the money to make amazing lawnmowers, wheed whackers, and motorcycles?
Looking to buy a Mazda 323, any suggestion on the model. Problably a 2000-2003 model with the 1.5 engine cause in this country is the highest that can be easily insured.
>>16219219
Learn to use question marks.
Get a 1.5 VTEC Civic and turbo it.
If done correctly, it will make around 200hp and still be a relatively reliable DD
>>16219236
I already have that specific model and I am selling it cause Hondas in Ireland have been destroyed by boy racers or rust. My one is rusty eventhough the engine is like new with 140000 miles
Just looking into an easy to work car, good reliability and not prone to rust
Is there a bigger meme than the self driving car right now? When are people gonna realize that the future of transportation is trains?
>>16218840
yeah personal self driving trains that can go everywhere
>>16218840
As much as I love driving my tarbo shittoboxu, I gotta gree anon. The car is completely stupid as a mean of transportation and it's pathetic that in this day and age we depend on internal combustion engines with such poor theoretical energy efficiency. There's a good essay about this matter by Andre Gorz, yuo should check it out, fampai.
That said, I'd rather be dead than not driving. I just hope for something a la Red Barchetta or that cars, like horses, are left for the select few dumbasses like us who adore them to enjoy in closed circuits and a few roads deemed "obsolete" and only for recreational purposes.
The future of transportation is not having to go anywhere, VR all day every day. Soylent green will be pumped into your house along with water.
Which is better, the 7 Series or the S-Class?
this is a pointless comparison
If you want to be driven, you get an S class long, and have some nigger drive it for you
If you want to drive yourself, don't get the S, and don't get the 7 either because an M5 is a better way to give bmw 100k of you dollars, if you want to do that
neither
get an XJ if you want fun to drive. it's no sports car but it's more engaging than either of those
nicer interior than the 7 series but not as many features as the s class
CT6.
Hey /O/ im pretty stumped i cant get my clutch to disengage so far i have
replaced the slave and master cylinder
replaced the clutch pressure plate and the clutch arm along with the throw out bearing.
I've been bleeding the lines for about 4 hours now and i still just cant seem to get it to go into gear when the truck is running.
>>16218630
does it go into gear when the truck isn't running?
>>16218642
yes it does just fine just not when it's running
>>16218645
how did the clutch disc look? I notice you didn't mention replacement in the OP
Copping a 1991 1.6 323 real soon.
What does /o/ think of the car?
Pic related but not the one I'm getting
>>16218606
Is good car.
>>16218619
how so? the seller is a 60 year old dude and he is having a hard time letting it go but he has to go overseas.
thing is im always a fan of 80's 90's cars but never paid much attention to it, let alone seeing it much on the road.
What is that one car you loved owning it and you kinda/totally regret selling it?
My first car was a 2004 mustang gt. I miss it, only for the h-pipe exhaust waking up my neighbours. It met the fate of all mustangs, though, and ended up in the side of a building
None because I actually do research before buying cars
My 1989 Acura legend. Plan to buy a manual one next and turn it into a sleeper
I've been looking into convertible cars, and I thought I had settled on a 2017 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth.
Recently, though, I saw a Pontiac Solstice, and I really liked the way it looks. Not to mention it would be 1/3 the price. The drawback is worse gas mileage, 6 higher than my 1998 truck in city, and the newest ones are almost a year away from being a decade old.
Has anyone here driven one, or both of these vehicles? Does the Solstice have anything on the Fiata Abarth?
Tl;dr: Pontiac Solstice Gxp vs 2017 Fiata Abarth
only thing the Solstice has is the price
Pontiac a shit
Why do you think they went under ?
It couldn't possibly be because they make a subpar product out of subpar parts and Market them to white trash faggets
Miata is always the answer
Is
Always
The
Answer
Its official. Fiat is now just shoving that stupid meme motor into everything now.

What's the point of this brand?
What do they even do that no one else does?
>What's the point of this brand?
To sell cars.
>What do they even do that no one else does?
Sell the Leon.
Provide chavs with access to slightly outdated VAG platforms.

I got a ride in a late model ibiza, some horrid NA petrol variant. Why even produce this car? It's like a shit golf with a kia interior.
