Have you caught any interesting footage on your dashcam, /o/?
I haven't seen anything too interesting. I did see a pickup truck clip a jogger once.

Left hand side of the screen. You can't even really see the collision

I've seen two but didn't have my dashcam
Things that are absolutely true that aut/o/bots don't like:
>The Volvo 240 was *NOT* the safest car you could buy in the 80's, the Dodge Daytona was.
>Nissan never once made a vehicle named the S-15. S-15 was the name of a compact GMC pickup truck.
>Chrysler is the worst major auto company ever, they have never made a single vehicle worth having, not even the classic Hemi's (there were better cars for the money even back then) and everything they've ever touched turned to shit, including Mercedes-Benz and Jeep. There's a reason they went bankrupt. Twice.
>Fast and Furious sucked as movies.
>Eibach springs, slotted rotors, and weight reduction are utter wastes of money, because no matter how much you spend on your car, *you* will never actually enter it into a race
>"Cold Air Intakes" actually rob the engine of power because of simple thermodynamics. The best thing to make an intake out of is plastic and it needs to draw air from behind the bumper, just like what came on your car from the factory.
>>17750417
No one thinks the s15 is the name of a car. It's a chassis code and everyone knows it.
Who cares, that's nice, no shit, nobody cares, no shit, wrong, depends.
Hellow /o/
Just the funniest thing happened to me that I thought happened only in movies or commedy skits.
>Be eastern europoor.
>Drive a 1999 Sharan TDI back home from familiy metting, which is very far away.
>Filled with drunk family members.
>Very tired and decide to drive slowly(70km/h).
>Just 50km left to home, a car catches up to me and follows.
>Any normal car would just bypass me but whatever.
>The bastard has his highbeams on.
>I blink my emergency light for him to turn that shit off.
>He doesn't
>I brake slowly to a full stop.
>The bastard slowly brakes too and stopped right infront of me.
>A guy from passanger side stumbled out, obviously drunk.
>He went towards my dad's car and I just...
>GAS GAS GAS straight past their car.
>Panicked a bit but kept my cool.
>The bastards cought up to me again with their faggy highbeam.
>WELL SHIT.
>I wake my brother up for him to call police.
>We describe the location we are in and everything.
>we tell about those people, who we think are up to no good.
>Drunks cousing troubles or something.
>The dudes are still following us but way back.
>The police were waiting on the corner of a village.
>They signal and we stop, but the other driver doesn't stop.
>He is fucked we all thougth, but he blinks to the cops.
>WTF?
>The officer asks of the situation and we comply and tell everything.
>The cop laughs very audably and explains.
>That other driver was an off duty officer with family who is also drunk.
>He wanted to check why we drive so slow so he kept his highbeam for us to stop.
>We did at the time and he told his brother to go have a look at us.
>But he was drunk so we got spooked and sped off.
>They though we were drunk driving.
>called their friends at police station to check us out.
In summary; we called cops on each other because we though the other one was drunk driving. The whole thing was very hilarious. The officers, their and my family and me all laughed.
My first greentext, hope you like!

Bumping this
So I just had my car in a repairshop a few days ago. A min ago when I refilled the washer fluid, I noticed a rag stuffed into the corner, over some cables. Do you think someone just put it there and forgot about it, or does it actually serve some purpose? It's not connected to anything, you can just pull it out.
>does a ((((((((((((((rag)))))))))))) serve a (((((((((((((purpose)))))))))) in MY ((((((((((((((ENGINE BAY))))))))))))))))
are you seriously this fucking stupid dude
>>17750393
yes
>not buying your used car from an elderly couple who were the original owners 10+ years ago
It's like you ENJOY buying shit boxes, /o/

This is why I am buying a Lexus for my first car. I live in Florida and it is full of dying boomers who had a Lexus (and literally any other luxury car).

So I and my 3 friends have decided to start a review channel for cars and trucks.
The first car we got the chance for was my uncle's 2017 Lincoln Continental.
The reason why I made this thread is to know your tips or advises since I bet most of you guys watch a lot of car reviews, so I thought you guys will definitely hold some opinions, tips and advises.
So throw them!
>>17749743
Holy christ this is a real evolution of the Lincoln vs Cadillac spam isn't it
Was there a /comfy/er time in car history than 80s DTM?
I own a 190E, what else can I do to replicate this feeling? I need the german superiority flowing in my veins.

Its $650, 211k miles on it and the poster says all it needs is new tires. Should I buy?
That's worth around $20
WTF lol, post the add.
The structural integrity of the vehicle has been comprised.
hey /o/, do you have any stickers on your car?
Nope, no one on /o/ has any stickers on their cars.

My Turbos.
If you're installing new speakers in a car to upgrade from stock, should you absolutely install a new amp? I installed a Kenwood head unit a while back with no problem, and I'm tired of the sound quality of my stock speakers (06 WRX) but I'm not sure whether I'm ready to start screwing with my battery cable.
Pic somewhat unrelated.
>>17749026
i didnt but my e46 came with a factory amp
I'm thinking about getting an SC400 but they are rare around here. I'd like a late model and owners have ridiculous expectations regarding the price.
How many of them are left in your countries? Thinking of importing one.
Also: What am I getting myself into except for a sluggish transmission?
>>17748950
GTA here, you can frequently find them for 5kCAD, or about 3900USD, sometimes even lower. They're pretty good and decently luxurious if you can find one in good shape. They have pull, but the tranny sucks
>>17749005
Just one '98 model is for sale around here in Germany and they want 14k€. For that money I can import one and have something on hold for spare parts. Thanks so far.
what makes more financial sense?

If you want a faster truck it's better to fix and sell your Frontier then just buy a faster truck.

I can't afford a similar truck utility-wise that's any faster than this I don't think.
