not being a dick but have you had any trouble with the belt? from what i understand they are notorious for belt probs
Best I've driven was a Can-Am just like this one, about a month ago at a search & rescue. I cant really describe how well that thing climbs, but they turn like shit and cost a small fortune, sadly
Forgive me if this is a retarded question but why would anyone buy a Nissan GT-R when they could buy a M6 for the same price? Specs are almost identical.
I am talking in the used market, of course.
>>16278950
Sorry, I meant to say buy a M6 for far cheaper. M6 is very cheap in the used market
>>16278950
I'd rather drive unreliable nip shit than unreliable german shit 8)
>>16278950
M6 is faster on a straight line but the GTR kills it on track thats y.
Eurofaggots are always down on MERICA becase we have cars with automatic transmissions.
WELL WHAT NOW, FAGGOTS?!?!? Not 3, but FOUR FUCKING PEDALS!!! WHAT THE FUCK NOW!!!
>>16278615
isn't that 4th a parking brake or something?
>>16278622
Yeah you just slam it in and pull a tab and than it goes up, my Mercedes actually has this.
>>16278622
its the drift engage pedal
Google won't give me a fucking answer. About how long does it take to change the distributor on a 1st gen xterra with a vg33e v6? I think the shop is trying to fuck with me (who am I kidding, of course they are) and quoting me almost $500 on labor alone at $110 an hour. Or fuck the average time for any distributor job would be a nice place to start.
>>16278403
I'm not sure about your particular application but USUALLY changing a complete distributor is a matter of minutes. Just unplug the leads connected to it, take care of one or two bolts that hold the thing in place, unplug the cable that goes to the ECU (in case it's a fuel-injected car) and...that's about it.
I'd say fuck dem jews, anon.
>>16278432
Yeah I thought so. Unfortunately I had no choice but to give it to them because I have no fucking time to work on it myself because of my jobs hours. They also just told me that part of that is $157 to do spark plugs which took 75 minutes. So yeah there's no doubt the trying to fuck me.
>>16278403
>Google won't give me a fucking answer.
Google doesn't provide answers. It is people posting that provide answers. Google is a parasite that re-sells those answers to users. Because of the parasitic nature of search engines, many places that do have answers don't let google (or bing) spider them. So those answers will never show up on google. You'd have to visit those forums directly including /o/ archived forums.
I have a car. Bought a used one with 95000 nikes on it. That was in august. Now it's December and I only added like 1800 miles to it.
I just got so sick of taking the bus everywhere though. But having this car has made me realize how few places I have to go. Despite being so free, I have no where to go still.
Was getting this car a waste? I just don't feel that pull to go some place.
I was on vacation last week. My car stayed in the same lot for 7 days.
Is this what having a car is supposed to be like?
>>16278376
No it isn't. I feel sorry for you
>>16278383
I try to look on the bright side. I use to have to get up at 5:45am to catch a bus for like 7am to get to work 8:30am.
Now I wake up at like 7 and drive to work.
But I am sad because I pretty much only go to work...
>>16278376
Just be glad that you didn't do that with a brand new car. Not only did you not break in the car during its initial warranty phase to see if anything would break down early or not, you would also have eaten all the new car depreciation.
So i own a 2004 Chevy impala. How difficult would it be to replace the thermostat?
Breddy easy.

>>16278229
do you have the 3.8L or the 3.4L. Yes it matters. The 3.8L is fairly easy. They 3.4L requires more work.
>>16278299
I have a 3.8L
how do i get this manual? I don't see any options for it
It's only got one gear m8
anon...
>>16278175
so its a fixie?
Is a 1999 Mercedes E320 worth 3000 Canada bucks? I need to replace my old Mazda Protege soon
depends on the amount of hidden rust
Grab a C230K for 2K less
>>16278095
that looks so comfy.
I can hear the soft snow falling silently by looking at that photo alone.
Hope we get some nice snowy weather soon.
I cant believe it's been 3 years
>>16277503
Isn't that Owen Wilson? He is still alive, buddy
>>16277503
Price, david bowie, Alan Rickman, Harold Ramis, Robin Williams.....Couldn't give a fuck.
Paul Walker I don't know mang. It still makes me tear up.
I mean, he wasn't a great actor, and none of his films were that great. But I fucking liked him guys.
I never met Paul Walker, but I fucking miss him /o/
I miss him every day.
>>16277538
nah thats luke wilson
I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota sport with the base package. Now the truck it self will crank until the battery dies. It ran fine 2 weeks ago then after coming back to it all it does is crank. Check engine light blinks after holding down the gas and cranking. Any pointers on to just get it started? I've Ethered the air intake and everything in between. TLDR; Damn Dodge cranks and will not start.
Bump, any links would be greatly appreciated. I live out in the country with limited internet access.
>>16277327
I would check the skim module if it has one, the bcm, the ecu, and the crank position sensor. Cysler problems=electric problems
If it's a 4.7, then it probably dropped a valve seat, causing the cam follower to jam the cam, and break the head, shearing the cam drive pin and throwing the cam out of time, which probably cracked a piston, and would have normally put a hole in the valve cover that would leak oil out onto the exhaust manifold and catch fire.
>tfw you'll never find or own a Toyota starlet.
>tfw the US doesn't have any other good handling rwd hatch.
Has /o/ ever seen one? Maybe one day I'll be cruising thru some back roads and find one outside a trailer.
>toyota shill threads are racking up in the containment page
thought i just hid the last one and boom here's another turd
>>16276960
Plenty of them here in northern yurop.
Have had a few trips in one, there was nothing impressive about it. Guy took it up to 180 km/h, felt pretty dangerous at that speed.
>>16276968
Haha sorry. I'm a BMW fanboy. Could care less about mr2, 86s, etc. This car just seems so badass. The fucking think weighs like 15-1600 lbs fully loaded. Fucking ludicrous.
My Dad bought his first project car this summer, and I was thinking to spray his valve cover with a cool design for a Christmas present. It's a stock black Mk1 MX5 with a very dark green soft top (we don't know why it's green, but he's too cheap to get a proper roof).
>>16276757
Polish it like the one in the picture.
Does he actually want his valve cover painted?
Perhaps seat covers instead?
>>16276815
>>16276757
Polish his dick
F
>>16275703
What even happens to people that hit cops like this? Is it an immediate arrest?
>>16275776
If it was dry, absolutely. Since its ice there is probably some leeway, even though it's fucking retarded that people still don't know how to drive. Doesn't mean they won't get fucked by insurance and the city though
Can we just appreciate that Ford literally won't let you drive the GT350 or Focus RS if you're an autotragic faggot?
>>16273742
Now if only they'd stop sucking Mexican cocks, they could make driving great again.
>>16273764
this
>>16273742
Never thought of that. I do really appreciate this.
Heavily considering buying a used evo 8 or 9 for around 15k with 40-50k miles. What does /o/ think about the evolution?
>>16273471
Where in the fuck did you find one that cheap and low miles? One with 100k in my area asks at least $20,000
>>16273471
They're a lot more fragile than you think they are
