I think I might be fucked, /o/.

I switched out the cylinder 1 fuel injector for my 3.3L 2009 Chrysler Town & Country and then discovered that the hard plastic ring below the gasket on cylinder 6's fuel injector was busted (c6 injector is the one with the flashlight shining on it in the picture). I tried to take the one off of the old injector from c1, but it broke, too. I'm on Eastern Standard Time, so it's past midnight and I can't go buy another fuel injector for a good number of hours. My garage reeks of gasoline: is it safe to leave the project in this state overnight? If not, how should I make it safe? Why are fuel injectors fucking $112?

You can actually do without that bit of plastic.
The o ring will still seal. It's not worth buying a new injector over.
>>
>>16285350
What does that bit even do? Just hold the o ring on a bit better?
>>
>>16285337
refer to repair manual anon. Hell, trust google more than 4chan. if your fuel injectors are messed with, it can end badly.
Also, leave a vent for the vapors to get out, gas fumes+spark=DEAD/goodbye everything

Any rust guys on? I need recommendations on how to combat gard to reach and sand rust. This rust in this corner and under that lip is hard to get to with anything electric and wire brush is useless. Is rust converter useful or just a meme?
Also when I prime should I use epoxy primer or self etching for bare metal frame. I never want it to come in contact with moisture ever again.

POR15 with etching metal prep and 2k urethane topcoat
>>
>>16285235
ok so i should sand,
por 15 metal prep,
por 15,
then the 2k?
seems that the 2k is a hardener kinda like the por-15, couldnt i just use any automotive paint after the por15
Or por 15, paint, then the 2k?
>>
>>16285288
i would use a wire wheel on a die grinder, hit it with the metal prep then POR15. you could go right over with any automotive paint. POR15 doesnt fully harden and is not uv protected, so i would use the urethane topcoat to protect any high wear areas. the urethane also has much better color selection

honestly though you could probably get away with using a rust convertor rattle can and matchcoat paint on something that minor

i mostly use it on industrial equipment, frames or my flatbed, its crazy durable

I want to buy a toyota camry. The only thing i really care about is replacing the engine with something like a V6 (implying it is inline 4)

What problems should i look for (mount point, transmission etc).

Total newbie and no one for help.

Related question:

Is there a formula to calculate the engine type or whatever i'd need to pop a wheelie

Can I pop a wheelie with an automatic. Since it is a slushbox I have to ask

Can't find anything but beating around the bush on dumbass Google. Putting subs in my truck, downfiring. My question is will 2 12s or 2 10s sound better in such a shallow space? I don't want to spend money on the 10s then regret it, but also don't wanna spend money on the 12s and it sound like crap. Anyone with insight or experience with both sizes under the seat in an extended or double cab truck?

10s will be fine and actually hit harder with the same wattage. 12s just can do lower frequencies.

Can 10s handle rap? I rarely listen to it but I enjoy it when showing off their versatility.

got a 90 ford lifted ranger sitting on 33's mud tires and it by all means sucks big donkey dick in the winter. like i stay stuck and tires just stay spinning. will snow tires with smaller tread help me out ? all seasonal ? or will it just do the same ? i feel like selling the piece of shit. its a 4x4 and it still sucks ass when i turn it on. i dont know much about tires and cars so i thought i would ask you guys who know your shit about trucks and cars. pretty much looks like pic related but with a grey primer. dont bash me please, i need some help.

Are you sure the 4x4 is actually working? Mud tires are hard even in the summer, in winter their flinstone tier. Try running them as low as low pressure as safely possible but they'll still probably suck.

Just buy a set of cheap steelies and some meaty winter tires and plow through anything.
>>
>>16285056
>4x4 is actually working?
i honestly cant tell the difference. hasnt snowed yet but once it does im pretty much gonna have to leave it sitting there until i get better tires.

Let's discuss car colors.

What's going to be the signature car color/s of the 20s?

>90s = Dark Green and Maroon/burgandy
>00s = Silver and Gold/Champagne
>10s = white and black

Think a skyish blue will be in Vogue next?

What car do you currently drive and what color is it?

My 2011 yaris sedan is white

Thoughts on Subaru Legacy?

I'm looking for a new car, and my commute is about to skyrocket up to 15k a year, just from home to work and back. I like the safety ratings, fuel mileage, and the basic trim is actually pretty nice.

My only real concern is paying 22k for it, and then putting 22-25k miles on it every year. Does anyone know the life expectancy of these things? I'd hate to kill it after only 5 years.

Do you need AWD?
If yes, then it's an okay buy. Although a WRX would be a lot more fun
If no, buy a mazda3, mazda6, or Honda Accord instead. They're much better cars.

What up /o/ need some advice on buying a new shitbox, and I need yins to tell me if I'm being retarded.

I found a 1985 Volkswagen Golf for $1000 local to me. It's in stupid clean condition inside and out, and runs like a top. I figure this thing would be a nice shitbox to commute to by shitty job(8 miles) and will save me some cash since the 350 sbc won't be chugging fuel anymore.

tldr; should I buy a clean, good running 30 year old hitler mobile for winter beater or naw

is that pic the actual thing?

i'd get it, looks like it used to belong to someone that browses the vortex

golfs are pretty indestructible, especially mk1 rabbits and the mk2. No real issues besides the CIS fuel injection systems.
