It looks rusted to shit and in pretty poor condition, but do you think it has potential to be restored? Or should I search for one that is in a better condition?
it's not rust anon
trabants have bodies made out of hard plastic.
maybe the underside is shit though, who knows.
what i mean is, it can still be saved.

Here's a link. Hopefully spam filter won't be a bitch again.

How do you even do this? There are no synchronizer rings on reverse precisely because of this

P for passing gear
>65mph highway speed limit
>Doing 75 in right lane
>Guy is sitting in the left lane doing 75 for the last five minutes about 10 car lengths back
>Go into the left lane ahead of the guy doing 75 (giving him more than adequate room) to pass someone in the right lane who's driving 65
>Guy who was doing 75 speeds up and is now tailgating me because he wants to go 80
Why does this happen every fucking day
I understand most forms of retardation but this one eludes me
I've noticed that as well. People suck.
I intentionally slow down when passing in front of a Freeway Freight Train just to suck even more. That way, once I finally pull over these assholes will take off in anger and maybe get ticketed.
I want to add a button that activates the tail lights so people btfo.
Of course I'd have to look into the legallity of it (not that cops would ever notice anyways).

I want to say lack of driver's education, but it's probably just a lack of education in general
I'm going to buy a facelifted Mazda 3 with a manual gearbox in a few weeks, anyone has this car? What are the goods and bads of this car /o/tists?
It has one of the best interior in its class. Unmatched ergonomics and functionality.
It's the car you want to be in as long as you are not in a rush to get anywhere.
>>16287590
Black interior everything leaves marks. Seats are a bit hard like that of an rsx. Parts of the interior feel a bit cheap and inconsistent. Dash fits auto Better than manual.
>>16287590
Pretty good all arounder. Much more interesting than it's competitors. Opt for the 180 hp engine, the other is a bit too underpowered.
Electric windows have randomly failed in my VW
No power is getting to them, can't open them from driver or passenger side. I checked fuses and they look ok. The passenger side worked briefly after fiddling with them but has now stopped again
I will change the fuses just in case it is that. Otherwise, what is most likely cause of this? Must be a power issue not the mechanism as there is no sound or movement at all when I press the switches.
Its been fairly cold here recently in the UK but has warmed up a bit now. Could the weather be responsible?
The most likely cause is being a VW
>>16287138
take driver door apart, and check voltage at the wires and actual switch.
>electrical vw issues

op, i have a solution for your fuckswagen, set it on fire
Hey /o/ I'm pretty fucking dumb so hopefully you smart people can help me. How difficult is it to convert a mrk3 supra from automatic to manual. If i wanna put an r154 into it, do i just throw it in or is there a whole kit i need for it. Does it differ between the 7mgte and the jz engines? How about turbo vs non turbo engines?
>>16286984
Are you that retard who bought the R154 that wont shift for $400?
Get a fucking W55 with a steel plate for $200. Its what the MK3 used.
As far as converting. Should be easy. Its all predrilled for manual parts, just gotta cut holes.
Drive shaft might be different, trans mount holes might be different
Go ask on a Toyota forum. People have write ups for this.
>>16287056
no im not that retard, i am a different retard. Im trying to buy a supra but every one i find is a fucking auto transmission
>>16287142
Auto might be better to buy cause more likely not owned by a hoon.
So tell me about this little thing. Is is a decent ride?
aloominum golf coupe
Rides nice & comfy for such a small car. Pretty quick with the DCT in sprints. Not terribly sporty or inspiring driver. Nice interior. Good fuel economy if you take it easy.
It's not a sports car. It's a small GT. Nice for DD, not so nice for the track.
t. drove roadster for 4 years
>>16286935
Golf with half the practicality and double the running costs because 4 rings
How rekt do you think the cylinder will be? What tools will I need to fix it?
Pull the head and dig out all the ceramic
a lot of it is probably embedded in the head and piston at this point but whatever didn't get embedded is probably rattling around in there
>>16286028
also if it's a euro car be prepared to buy special tools
american or japanese just a set of sockets lol
>>16286123
>ceramic embedding into metal where it has nothing to smash against
At worst it's gonna shatter into powder and out the exhaust valve.
Also, OP
Get air compressor, blow air into spark plug hole until shit blows out
Who /ecomodder/ here?

haven't tested out the eco tune for WRX yet so idk what it gets.
runs the mechanical minimum boost. I get 25ish average on the 93 power tune I've got right now so I bet it would be halfway decent.
>>16285284
pic for you
What would be the oldest car you'd consider a viable choice for daily driving including freeway commuting? A rust patina is fine but has to be 100% original and not restored or modified with any newer technology.
Depends on the climate
literally everything can be a dd with proper tires. only thing holding you back is your inability to turn a wrench
I want to buy a scanner with real time sensor monitoring. What's the best bang/buck scanner out there?
A bluetooth one and the Torque app

Only a boomer or a total dbag would drive a supercar of any kind. You might as well be a blackbelt in karate and wear bodybuilder pants.
I can see being impressed if your 16 , but do any adults here really think they are cool?
I drive a chariot driven by 4 lamborghinis
u mad, bitch?
>>16284137
Spotted the poorfag.
Supercars are expensive for the sake of being expensive. They are Veblen goods that are rarely, if ever, driven anywhere close to their potential.

It's here!

What does /o/ think of the solstice?
I'm thinking of getting one.
it's soooo cute. great first car for a high school girl or wife.

I am a gril.
yes it is cute but I don't know if it's good

oh that ruins it. Do you know how to google? Because there are things such as reliability tests and reviews that are a lot more useful than the opinion of the autists here.
Post happy looking cars, /o/!
